Sora grew up on Destiny Islands, a product of a broken home...but with a happy ending. His father left them for another woman when he was a child which is what lead to him to get into soccer and various other sports, to keep his mind off of his home situation. He's a highly friendly, if not a little naive and immature at times, boy who dreams about making it big in soccer.

Sora is exceedingly friendly with a bright smile that's contagious to anyone who sees it. He has the ability to make friends in what ever situation he may end up in.

Sooo I'm working off of what i VERY vaguely remember lol. Since we technically did a thread together we could make it so that they're already pretty close friends? If you want to start from the top we can start fresh and have them meet all over again but I'm definitely thinking close/best friends for these two. Maybe when Riku used to live on Destiny Island as a child he could have bumped into Sora and they'd become friends but neither of them really remember it.they only get vague impressions of knowing each other from some where. I think it'd be interesting~

Possible love interest. I can't remember how much we spoke about this (if we even did) so yeah lol. Maybe at first neither of them realize it? (Riku would definitely refuse to realize it because of how messed up he feels his life is at the moment.) Maybe they both slowly realize it and Riku goes into serious denial mode? Idk up to you~

Unfortunately we never got to finish the thread we had together, but I know that Riku was tutoring Sora in some subject. So maybe after that day together they started hanging out and talking a lot more as friends, as opposed to 'tutor and student'. I think that having Riku around could really mellow Sora out a bit and maybe even, dare i say it? mature a little more from Rikus influence. I really like the idea of them being close friends though, so starting off as that is definitely fine with me (:

I think it might have been mentioned before but I wasn't sure what you and Gia planned on doing with Riku and Addie so I don't think we ever actually spoke about the idea. I think it might take the both of them a while to warm up to the idea that they might actually have feelings for each other, Sora's pretty naive and doesn't have much experience in that area so he'd probably mistake his feelings for something else or think that that was how you were supposed to feel when you were close friends with someone. And then if he ends up realizing it before Riku (though I'm sure Riku is far more aware of what he feels than Sora is for the most part lol) he'd probably end up believing that Riku is far too good for him and therefore couldn't reciprocate his feelings? Idk, I'm sure this plot will end up messing with both of their heads lol. But I like it a lot and we should definitely run with it <3

They definitely fit as close friends lol and i like that idea. Riku could have given him his number and told him if he needs anything to call him. They could have gone from there. XD I have a feeling that while Sora might mellow out a bit Riku might get a bit more playful lol

The idea we have for Riku and Addie is she gets feelings for him and he thinks he feels the same but after he realizes his feelings for Sora (or something else happens we didn't really specify what that particular thing might be) Riku let's get down gently about it.

Lol oh Sora and his oblivious tendencies. Riku might not help his whole self esteem issues with all his denial about his feelings when/if he does realize them. Riku would probably avoid him for a while once he realizes his feelings for the younger boy and then reluctantly accept it but still not act on it because he'd feel unworthy. Oh Lord these two are going to be something else XD

Their personalities are so different I think that's how/why they mesh so well because they complement each other. I think that'd be really cute to start seeing a change in Riku and seeing him open up and be a lot more playful! xD

I texted Gia about that earlier and that's pretty much what she said too :3! So poor Riku is just gonna be involved in one huge emotional mess, from what I can see lmao.

Oh man, if Riku starts avoiding Sora out of the blue like that I think that would absolutely crush Sor, especially if Riku didn't give him a reason for ignoring him. It'd make him feel as if he did or said something wrong, or if Riku figured out that Sora has less than platonic feelings for him lmao.

Well, Sora wouldn't want to pity Riku or feel bad for him in any way because he remembers what it was like to grow up with a broken family and he absolutely hated when people showered him with pity. So instead Sora would probably just make it known that he was there for Riku and would always be around to talk, or if Riku needed to get away then Sora would definitely be there to go out or cheer him up.

Hmmm. First things first, do you think that they would have hung out over the summer on Destiny Islands? Or would this be the first time they would be seeing each other since last semester?

Riku would definitely appreciate that. He's not big on pity, he gets a bit defensive in fact. Knowing Riku and how much he isn't a talker he'd probably just call/text or of the blue and demand he hang out with him like a child.

For some reason i like the idea of them not seeing each other all summer and just texting or calling even though they're on the same island XD. I can just imagine how annoyed Riku would be at not being able to see him because he had extra tutoring going on lol

As sad as it is I'm sure Sora would drop whatever he was doing at that very minute and run out the door to meet Riku--like he'd be in the middle of studying or eating dinner and just bail out to go see him lmao.

Well then they'd have a lot to talk about when they finally do get to see each other again ! Me and Tsunin decided that Sora and Roxas probably hung out all summer but I know that in the back of his mind Sora would've been keeping an eye out for Riku, hoping that he'd see him out and about, or that he'd text Sora and ask to meet up.

Awe~ Riku would feel bad but that selfish part of him would cling to that fact. Sora dropping everything and going to see him would make Riku seriously conflicted about doing it again thou lol.

Lol Riku would have been whining to Sora the whole time about being stuck at his house learning while it's summer vacation. He would probably look out the window going to catch a good of Sora as well. So i was thinking maybe they meet up at the park after Riku texts him. I want to do a birthday thread for Riku so maybe it'll be to invite Riku to his party. It'd be great if you could start it~

Well I'm sure Sora wouldn't tell him "Oh I totally just forgot about studying for my biology exam tomorrow just so I could come out!" He probably would've just told Riku that he didn't have anything going on. Though Sora's not a very good liar so Riku would probably get it out of him anyway xD
