Martial Arts/Archery Club A fairly large expanse of wooden floors extends from one side of the room to the other, keeping an oriental feel through out. One side of the room is lined up with targets, bows and swivels of arrows lining the walls next to them next to a door that leads outside to a modest sized court yard for the Archery members to really practice their skills . The other side has a large rolled up mat big enough to cover the whole floor. To the far right of the room is a mirror covered wall that runs parallel to the equipment and the people therein, mostly for the Martial Arts portion of the club. |

Kendo Club The Kendo Club room is a square room designed much like a martial arts dojo. There are hardwood floors, and false windows with paper to resemble those one might find in a dojo. Mounted on one wall is a manual scoreboard that goes up to two and has a timer mounted in the middle. There are several storage closets in the walls containing shinai (Kendo swords) and the protective gear used in competitive kendo. There is a variety of gear and swords to fit most sizes. The room is split into three portions so that three matches can go on at once. There are numerous dummies fitted with protective gear to practice aiming blows on. |
