Of course, Uen could understand. The kid was tired, and so was she. She really just wanted to let him walk out, shut the door, and crawl back into bed to sleep out the next day. But at the same time - come on, he was just a poor little First Year! She had to be able to help him somehow. What if he accidentally wandered into someone else's dorm? They might not be as friendly about it as Uen was being. And with Ryuzaki being as awkward and antisocial as it seemed he was, she couldn't afford to let that happen to him. She felt that walking with him would be the best option - or, at least, the option that would make her feel the least guilty. And her own guilt was the important part. He mumbled hesitantly, "Uh, alright..." Uen blinked her dark eyes and said nothing. She didn't care if he didn't like her coming with him; she just wanted to protect him.
Uen noticed after a few moments that the kid was becoming... pale. There was this look in his eye, an almost terrified look. Uen, personally, had seen that sort of look more often from druggies than from people who were just scared or anxious. Maybe he wasn't telling as much as he let on. That was fine; he was entitled to his secrets. Not that she'd judge him, anyways. She wasn't that kind of a girl; she'd be a hypocrite if she did. Ryuzaki seemed distracted by thought, and that's when Uen noticed a bead of sweat drip down his face. A concerned look spread over her face, but she didn't speak yet. He murmured, "Well... most of my classes are in the morning..." She didn't bother to reply to that or suggest that they just go out for coffee or anything; he continued, "A-alright, I guess." She touched his shoulder lightly with her hand, "Hey, man... are you alright? You're looking kinda sick or something." He just walked out the door, and Uen followed him anxiously, shutting her door behind her. | [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: center;]

Ryuzaki was anxiously walking to his dorm. Hopefully, this was just a bad dream or something, but he knew it was not. This was just a really bad day on his part. I need to sleep in tomorrow. Well, at least I won't have any reasons to stay up this late tomorrow. Well, I hope not anyway. This had been the most awkward day of his entire life. he imagined delivering a child would have been less stressful on him. Then again, medical things were easier to him than social things. Why was he so socially deficient anyway? He had always been reclusive, but this truly showed how bad he was with people. Perhaps he could take a job where he HAD to talk to people? He could even talk in class. He was eloquent enough when he spoke, but it was the getting him to talk that was the problem. "Yes, I'm fine... just had an epiphany is all..." He wiped some crust from his tired eyes. What a day... Hopefully, tomorrow, well today now, would be MUCH less eventful. Speaking of, where was his PDA and laptop? At least he knew what he needed to do in the morning. "If you come across a laptop and a PDA check to see if there is a picture of the Vitruvian Man as a wallpaper. It is highly likely that those are mine. Hopefully, they're in my dorm but just in case..."

He was tired. He was obviously way socially awkward. He was just freaked. What was worse was that there was nothing Uen could do for him but walk him down a couple doors so that he could pick the lock into his own dorm. Today just obviously wasn't going well. Poor guy. The walk down the hall was almost perfectly silent, the soft sounds of other beings in the upper floors of the dorm being the only sounds to interrupt the quiet night, as well as the sounds of their steps across the concrete hallway. He answered her question awkwardly, mumbling, "Yes, I'm fine... just had an epiphany is all..." Uen didn't know how to answer that. An epiphany? About what? Oh, whatever. It didn't matter anyways; she wasn't going to see him again anytime soon, most likely. He didn't seem to be too interested in going to lunch or dinner with her.
He rubbed his eyes, and then suddenly said, "If you come across a laptop and a PDA check to see if there is a picture of the Vitruvian Man as a wallpaper. It is highly likely that those are mine. Hopefully, they're in my dorm but just in case..." Uen nodded. "Oh, sure, Ryuzaki... whatever. Anything to help. But, uh... who's Vitr... Vitra... Vi... Vitrob... ro... What does that guy on your laptop wallpaper look like?" Wow. That would probably really piss him off or something. Hopefully not. On the contrary, maybe talking about something that he was familiar with would put him a little more at ease. They continued to walk and she looked at the golden letters of the dorms - 101, 102, 103, and, finally, 104, the number that Ryuzaki claimed was his own room. "Here we are. So you actually know how to pick a lock? You don't seem like the kinda kid who would, but, if you say so. If you can't do it, I can. I've done it before." | [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: center;]
