Being as playful has he usually is, he often makes conversation with people that he finds interesting in some way. He puts on a friendly face and he acts as nice as he can until the other person gives him a good reason not to. That being said, he's quite easy to get along with. If you're looking for a friend who can keep a secret and doesn't care about what 'clique' you belong to, he's a good choice. He'll do all he can to keep from having to stab you in the back and he's not the type to hold something against you for too long. Be warned though, with playfulness comes some level of immaturity. As friendly and playful as he may be, everyone has their enemies. He is no exception to this. There really isn't a great reason for not liking him unless you just rubbed him the wrong way and he snapped at you or something. He's not out to make enemies or anything like that. His playfulness tends to lead him into situations of a sexual nature, though it doesn't usually end in the way you might think. Sex is just a pleasure to him, one that he doesn't partake in very often, and the rest of the time things end up dying down in some way or another. Still, he has had a lover or two over the course of his life and there are bound to be one or two more down the road unless he finds himself attached to someone. Hmm....Aki's definitely a little different. Maybe they meet at a club that Kade likes to go to regularly and become friends. I could at least see them being acquaintances, but maybe Kade takes Akira's playful nature wrong as him flirting and they have a fling? Possibly blossom from there, or drop off?^^

I can see them meeting up at a club sometime. And I can definitely see him 'flirting' with her. I don't know how far a fling would go, he'd probably end up stopping himself if she didn't tell him to. Still, friends could work really well and I could easily see that progressing over time. Who knows, maybe Aki would fall for her and mellow out just a bit? Or at the very least I can see him developing some level of attachment to Kade.

UEN AND AKI! OH YEAH!

You never know how it could turn out. She'd probably be good for pleasure, if you know what I mean. She's not a whore, but she's not exactly an angel, either. They'd probably meet at a party or club or something along those lines. Uen doesn't exactly mellow except for school, so she'd probably not be with Aki for long (unless it was, like, super hot romance). They could probably be friends, but Uen's a party animal, and she's not gonna settle for quite some time!

Besides, they're both sports people, and I'm sure they could both boost each other's popularity at the school - well, she could boost his, for sure. (Not necessarily a "good" popularity boost, depending.)

Like I said with Kade, I could see them meeting up at a club or something. He's not really the type to go off and have 'fun' with just anyone but he does like to fool around in a way that could (possibly) lead to some enjoyable times. But he would 'flirt' with her, that's for sure. Then again, he 'flirt' with every human he thinks is good looking.

I don't really see him hanging with her all that much aside from actually participating in a sport in some way or another. I'm not sure how an actual relationship would work but we could always toss them into a thread together and see what exactly becomes of it.

I can imagine, though, that they won't be together for very long if they end up together at all. Like you said, unless it's super hot romance Uen won't stick around. Still, friends could work since they both like parties and crowds, so that's a definite possibility.

Hei-Lin & Aki

Alright, this guy is perfect for someone I envisioned Hei-Lin meeting: the gay best friend. Now, I understand Aki is not gay or, at least not fully (has read aki's class posts for Axel...). But, the concep would be the same. Hei-Lin needs SOMEONE to keep her in order sometimes, and this guy would be perfect Sure, she'd go and hit on him the minute she lays eyes on him, but his personality of order-ness could do her some good. She'd eventually lose interest in him, and they would develop somehow into friends... So, what you think? Feel free to state your opinions and stuff. (the add and subtract thing has been waaay overused XD)

I can see that working. Or course, he'd probably be his usual playful and flirty self with her just like everyone else but I can see him mellowing out a little as they actually become friends. Especially since he won't hold any serious feelings for her in the way of anything but friendship. And I sort of like the idea of having him try to keep someone else in line other than what I planned to have him do in class (which was to force some order if it got out of hand, for Skell's class at least).

I've always seen him as more homo then bi (though he sort of seems more hetero most of the time) so he'd definitely fit the 'gay best friend' roll for you. I don't have much to add to it or anything, because I quite like the ideas you've put out there.

Where'd you like to have them meet up? Aki's a bartender at The Joker and he likes hanging out at other bars/clubs as well so there're some possible meeting points (not that meeting someone at a bar/club is ever a good idea) He also goes to the school, obviously, so they could run into each other there as well.

Sweet, I can so see them pulling off a Shigure/Ayame act. If you've watched Fruits basket, and, well, even if you haven't, you know how Ayame and Shigure always put on an act how they are in a relationship? I see Aki and Hei-Lin pulling off something similar to that. By this time, they'd be pretty comfortable with each other as friends and have fun watching all the stares they got XD.

As to how they'd meet... Well, I'm seeing Hei-Lin walking to the bar and asking for tea XD. Then she'd tell Aki he was "a perfect bishounen" and go off on a whole speech about it XD Anyways, yeah, meeting at the Joker would be good. Now, I think you should make the thread because A) I'm no good at it, and B) Hei-Lin needs Akira to be there so he can get her order and stuff, ya know?

X3 I have indeed seen Fruits Basket and a Shigure/Ayame act sounds like fun. Though, we could use a Hatori to add to it... maybe someone could will that spot later on somehow? Just a thought. But yeah, the 'pretending to be together' idea would work pretty well. Especially since they'll be pretty good friends by then and they'll feel comfortable enough with each other that they won't mind it.

Anyways. It sounds like a plan. I'll get a thread up for there meeting sometime today and I'll PM you the link when it's done. I sort of burned myself out from like 2-4 this morning dishing out replies to all of the threads I needed to catch up on. I really don't know where all that muse came from. Anywho, it won't take me too long once I actually start working on it.

the game totally gave me an idea of plottage between these two xD. i'm thinking that maybe they could have a little thing going on where there's a bit of playful banter (flirting) and maybe if Aki doesn't mind. Riku likes to play hard to get or something. all i know is that i cant help but laugh whenever i think of these two together with Riku trying to be serious while Akira is being playful around him xD

Riku playing hard to get would be fine by Aki because he'd actually enjoy the chase a little bit. And a wannabe-serious Riku and ever-playful Aki would make for a fun topic. Pfft that part of the game was epic xD. They are going to be so much fun together lol. I can just see Riku trying hard not to give in or crack a smile around Akira but failing epically. Maybe they could even make a game out of it? I’m guessing their relationship would be pre-existing though and this little ‘dance’ has been going on since they first met during Riku’s first year? Or maybe it just started his second year? It could be that little secret that happens behind closed doors and when theres people around they say things that are kind of confusing to other people but they know exactly what it means. I can't wait to see Riku's epic fails. >.> It'll keep Akira's interest burning and he'd probably pick at Riku for it. Chances are he'll also randomly glomp him when there aren't many people around. Possibly even when there's a crowd depending on the situation and all.

The pre-existing relationship sounds good. I like the idea of having their little 'dance' start during Riku's 1st year and then carry over into his 2nd. They'll already have a bit of history so Aki'd know how far he could go when there are other people around them (though he'd have picked that up pretty early anyway). I'm sure there'll be quite a few inside jokes and general bits commentary they could use that no one else would really understand. xD

Cause I just noticed Tore-n also works there. Riku could be bored and he just randomly enters The Joker and it’s a little too late when he realizes Akira is there. It would be an interesting thread.
