She hadn’t slept that well thinking about how horrible her class might be. She was a person who didn’t like loud noise in the morning, but she for some odd and strange reason put her loudest class in the morning. Why she had her band class play so early she would never know and as much as she wanted to cancel class she couldn’t. She drank some coffee to keep her up hoping that maybe this would get her though this day. She grabbed her papers and her keys to the storage room and left for work.
When she got on campus she walked over to the familiar building she had known for years. The Anderson building never seemed to change ever since she started working her. She sometimes wished it did that way they could have better uses of the space. Since the building was old there really wasn’t really a good place to practice in for the band class. Today was not going to be about playing instruments though, but instead they would be going over the syllabus and introducing themselves to the rest of the class. They would be using a regular classroom today since they weren’t going to do much. When Retsu made it to the room she opened the door and flipped on the light switch. The room was the same as all the other rooms with cream colored walls and carpeting that looked very outdated. The desks were arranged in a neat fashion showing order which Retsu loved. She quickly placed a copy of the syllabus on each of the desk before going to the chalkboard and writing her name down.
When she finished writing her name on the board she placed the chalk down and walked over to the near-by storage area. This area held many instruments that the band would be using. Students would have to pay a fee to use these instruments, but if they had their own they wouldn’t have to. She took out a few instruments that she would show the students how they sounded and tell them what they were if they didn’t know already. She had grabbed an Oboe, Flute, Trumpet, Drum, and Violin of course she didn’t bring them all at once. She placed said instruments across her table in a neat fashion so the students could see them. The lesson was going to be short and simple, but if some of the students were good she would let them try out these instruments after class. When she finished preparing for her class she waited for her class to get here so she could start the lesson.

Rina Aiuchi’s voice rang out from the speakers of her cellphone, her alarm, that she had set the night before to ensure that she wouldn’t be late to her morning Band class. Her fingers groped her bedside table for her phone, grasping the device, and turning off the alarm. Stretching her arms high above her head, a loud yawn slipped past her lips, it was pretty early in the morning and Akii would admit that she would have rather slept another hour or two but she could always sleep on the weekend—right now she needed to get ready for class. She swung her legs over the side of her bed, using the step-stool to help her down safely [hey, her bed is pretty high off the ground! >.>], before shuffling over to her dresser and closet to pick out an outfit for the day. Glancing over her shoulder to wear the sunlight was streaming in through the closed blinds she made a guess [and hoped she was right] and assumed that it was warm outside so she threw together an outfit according to her weather prediction. Akii took a quick shower, mainly for the purpose of washing her long silver tresses, massaging in her favorite floral scented shampoo and conditioner before washing herself in a vanilla scented body wash. She didn’t have too much time to spend enjoying the steamy shower [lol, idk, that just made me giggle.] because she needed to get ready and leave for Band class—but she definitely felt relaxed afterwards. Turning off the water and stepping out of the tub and in to the exceptionally colder air of the bathroom, she glanced around for her towel, wrapping it around herself before setting to work blow-drying her hair. She didn’t dry it completely, only making sure that the top part of her head was dry, leaving the tips of her hair still a little damp [mostly because time didn’t allow her to finish completely] before slipping on her black ruffled skirt, pulling on her white tank-top style shirt and slipping on her white flats. Lastly she clipped in a black bow into her hair and slipped on a couple silver bangle bracelets before shuffling out of the bathroom, snatching up her messenger back from the post on her bed, and finally leaving her bedroom en route to Anderson for her Band class. It didn’t take her long to get there, power walking made sure of that! There was no way that Akii would be late to class, how embarrassing would that have been? Well, perhaps not to other students—but for someone like her it would have been awful. She was among the first to class, smiling at who she perceived to be the professor before muttering a quiet, “ Good morning.” to the older woman and taking a seat near the front of the room. "We stepped in as strangers....went out as best friends
...Surely Time can change anything..." Xion had gotten herself out of bed this morning with a bit of a rough start. She had jolted out of bed after realizing what time it was, she was late already. That was not something she wanted to be, and well now here she was. After tripping over her bedsheets, hitting her head on the table and leaving a small almost not noticable cut on her forehead. She wasn't exactly as late as she had thought there was only a few people in the room. The young black haired girl shivered pulling her jacket around her body again. She had to keep warm, couldn't let herself get sick now. Some might have said she was trying to hard to keep up with all the classes she had, but there was people out there with more. She didn't have many friends so it wasn't like she'd admit that anyway right. 'Just put up with it, another class another learning opportunity...just smile and talk like you aren't scared Xion...' Not that she would admit it if someone asked her, she was never one for being shy. She was a fighter and she had always been for as long as she could remember. She did not plan on causing problems at this school, no she would let the other students if they wanted to fight with her well then fine. That would be the only time she'd fight back, most of them were not even worth her time. If she could train herself to ignore them once she would be able to do it again. She stopped outside the building, shook her head to clear the thoughts out of her mind and walked inside.
She was glad to be at this school, even if it was just a bit complicated for her right now. She straightened her clothes a bit, the best she could do was at least try to look presentable. Even if she didn't care at all, there was no way for all of this to go this way. She had her bag at her side, it was just one of those one shoulder bags. She didn't like the normal back-packs and plus this was all her father wanted her to have. She had another one in her room, it was a black back-pack that looked like these little black creatures from what she couldnt' remember but she had thought it was cute and yes it went with the outfit she was wearing. She did not know why he was trying so hard. Her phone was tucked away and happened to be on silent for the moment. Usually she turned it off, but she was waiting for her father to send her the message he had promised he would send. It would tell her how her grandmother was doing after she fell down the stairs. She peeked into the room and saw other people there, the teacher and another student it seemed. She would just keep her cool, if she didn't let on that anything was bugging her or that she was shy maybe this place would be better for her.
Her eyes drifted to the instruments sitting on the table, there was the flute and violin, then there was probably a few others. She wanted to play them but she would keep patient. The teacher was bound to know what she was doing, and Xion smiled as she walked into the room. Part of that smile was fake, the other part was real cause she seemed to think she would like this class. She looked around the classroom, and as she walked past the teacher, she spoke. It sounded happy enough right, she liked anything to do with the music and the arts after all."Good morning..." She had spoke shortly after the other girl, and moved to take a seat near the front but more off to the side. She didn't want to stand out even though she was already slightly excited about this class.

Erazia was extremely excited for her next class. Band had so much to offer! First, there was the fact that she did like music and played the piano somewhat good. Second, she loved the sound of music in general a lot. Third, her brother, Zeran, was also in this class! These three factor made the class seem very promising, although that didn't make her drop her guard immediately. She still remembered the psychology class, so she had gotten into the habit of being if only just a little bit cautious when entering a classroom.
This morning, she'd woken up considerably early. She didn't want to be late to Band, oh not at all! By the time she finished getting dressed, taking a shower, and all of her other daily routines, she was out the door immediately. Erazia knew she'd definitely be early for class, and that made her feel pretty happy. Who knew, maybe something exciting before class would happen. Anything was possible.
As she exited her dorm building, she looked around for the Anderson building. She remembered going there a few days ago, and somewhat recalled the location. Doing her best to navigate her way by memory, it took her a good ten minutes to find it. It was a relief she'd left early, so she had no fear of missing anything due to tardiness.
Entering the building right away, Erazia leisurely searched through the halls.
"Now, where's my classroom..." she said to herself. Looking up and down the hallway, she finally saw one that had a teacher, some students, and instruments. "This has to be band class!" she thought. Walking in, she said a pleasant "Good morning", and took a seat. Looking around, her brother seemed to not be here yet. It was only her, and two other girls whom she didn't recognize. For now, at least.

before finding a seat closer to the back and away from the others. Dropping her bag to the floor behind her, she pulled out her usual supplies: artbook, pencil, pen, and notebook. She opened her art book up to a clean page and started doodling as she waited for things to really get going. Adelaide had to wonder how the class would go. She had taken a music class (three actually) in high school and every time the students had chosen two or more instruments that they'd like to play. Then the teacher decided which one they actually got to use. There were a few times when students got stuck with something they had no interest in at all, but that hadn't happened very often. She wondered if this class would go in a similar fashion. Or the teacher would just assign them each an instrument all on her own. Maybe they'd get to choose. She didn't care all too much either way, she wasn't picky, but it would be nice to play the instrument she wanted. Because it'd be much more enjoyable that way, of course. - - - - - - - - - - .Wordcount: 300..Place: Anderson - F1..Tag: Band Class..Notes: ....Lyrics: Adelaide by Anberlin.[/div] ~YOU KEEP GIVING ME SIGNS THAT YOU~ THINK I WANNA SEE ~BUT YOU'RE NOTHING LIKE YOU SEEM~

Table by Cloud from KC and Ventus from KU

Xenix bounced towards the band room, he was hyper and wanted to get this class started. He had played a few musical instruments in his time but he did not know what she would give him this time. If the teacher was even a she, he hadn't really looked at the class list he had just memorized what classes he had. He had to wonder if he would do the right thing, or say the right things. To him the music just spoke to him, if that didn't make any sense well then he was not sure what made sense to anyone anymore. Times only worked out so well, but there was no way for this to work again. He had to focus on his schoolwork though his mind wanted to wander.
The young first year wanted to go out and smoke already, this was not a good thing. For a kid like him to want to smoke now, maybe it was cause he was nervous. 'Bad timing for a craving like this one....' He picked the habit up on the streets, to them it made him lose all fear, all feeling and he liked it. There was other worse things he could have done, but he hadn't. He cracked his neck, and walked into the classroom. His hood was covering the fake cat ears, and he had left the tail back in his dorm room. He knew he had to at least act somewhat normal even if well he wasn't. And part of him never wanted to be normal.
He liked being weird as odd as that might have sounded to people, he saw girls and no one else it seemed. It was like there was no guys in here. Would that be a good or a bad thing, he was not so sure on that. He was more comfortable with the opposite sex, though he liked to cling to males. If he found a man he liked he would have clung to the person. But he had only been here for so long, and he had to be careful. Since the police and campus security would have been watching him as they always were.
"Um....hello..." He muttered, loud enough for them to hear him of course, but he shifted from his left foot to his other and stared at the floor. He was nervous being here, and the fact that he seemed to be the only male made it even more complicated. What was he supposed to do now, ignore them or just find a place to sit by one of them. He wanted to go hide in a corner, that was all he wanted to do now not that it would help him if he did.
He just had to hope no one tried to do anything to him, he hated to be hurt now. If they did well who knew what might happen to them, he was always getting people into trouble.
