Aqua studiously walked into her classroom on this fine Monday morning. The poor freshman in this class...Mon/Wed/Fri for a whole hour...at 9am even! She stepped in, bag in hand with her white blouse and business skirt on. Today was the first day of the new semester, well the first fall semester anyway. No doubt she would be seeing a lot of new freshman faces this semester, this was known to be a mostly freshman class after all since it led to the other English classes usually.
The blue haired female set down her bag promptly onto the desk the school had in this, and pretty much every classroom. This room wasn't the most technically equiped in the building...especially not when compared to the smart board rooms like in the math building and even in the psychology and sociology departments. English usually got shafted in the technology deals though.
The female looked up to see at least they had the basics, a mac computer that ran both mac and the new windows program set up to a large box with loads of buttons that she didn't really know what all of them did. She just knew how to play video and adjust the volumes and such...she wasn't a technical wiz like some of her coworkers...but she could at least work the basics.
The female walked up to the computer cart, grabbing a small remote control and clicking the button, causing the projector to turn on. The female then signed into the computer using her school email, which was more for students asking questions then anything else aside from faculty notices.
The woman gave a few quick clicks and the computer began the slow log in process. The network was strained at times so it took a while for logging in but otherwise the computers worked fast. The female stepped towards the desk, pulling out the syllabus for the students to take on there way in...or pass out if the students didn't grab any.
The female went back to the computer, she just had to get into her email and grab the powerpoint she had made for the first day. It was a common thing for teachers now a days...powerpoints to help the students visualize instead of just teachers talking at them and expecting them to learn it.

Sora Hiroaki; [atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][atrb=border,0,true][cs=2][atrb=style, background: url(http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a52/RynxEnvy/Decorated%20images/beautyful-beach-wallpaper.jpg); width: 450px, bTable][atrb=style,-moz-border-radius: 15px; border-radius: 15px;,true] | [atrb=style, background: #b2c7d6; padding: 8px;-webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 10px 10px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; opacity: 0.6] Sora snatched his messenger bag off his bedpost, slinging the strap over his shoulder, tip-toeing around the room to avoid waking up his roommate. After the first day where they had met he and Tore-n had come to a sort of…understanding [well, more like he got a scolding from a bunch of girls for sexually harassing the poor brunet] and he wasn’t quite as sexually possessed as he had been that first day—he still made a few passes at Sora, here and there, but it wasn’t anything that the islander couldn’t handle.
He grabbed a chocolate chip granola bar out of the opened box on his computer desk and hopped towards the door, the unopened food packet hanging out of his mouth as he attempted to walk and tie his shoes at the same time. It didn’t work so well. He tripped over a discarded pair of jeans and fell flat on his face with a deafening thud! that would’ve awoken any normal person, but of course, as he glanced back over his shoulder, Tore-n was still sound asleep. “Wow, and I thought I was a heavy sleeper… |
” He mused quietly before picking himself off the floor and properly putting his shoes on before slipping out of the room and making his way towards Golisano where his English Comp. class was about to start. The brunet quickly glanced down to make sure he hadn’t forgotten his pants or anything important [believe it or not but he often left his room so quickly that he forgot to put on his pants or a shirt—and only realizes it when he’s halfway to class…having to double back and put his clothes on]—blue loose fitted t-shirt, check, dark blue jeans, check, blue and white sneakers, check. You could probably easily guess what his favorite color was judging from his attire. Sora grinned proudly to himself, feeling accomplished that he made it to class without having to go back to his room to put on a pair of pants. He could tell just from that that it was going to be a good day! Entering the classroom he noticed that he was one of the first people there, the professor was there, of course—a tall blunette with a no-nonsense air about her—and there was another girl, sitting and looking a little bored while waiting for class to begin. There were a ton of empty seats in the class but he decided on taking the one next to the girl, turning to her with a bright smile and muttering a polite “ Good morning!” [/div] [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: top;]

[atrb=style, background: #b2c7d6; padding: 8px;-webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 10px 10px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; opacity: 0.6] Tagged: Aqua & Addie Wordcount: 432 Notes: :3 Credit: JADE of FD & KU

Roxas huffed a little as he checked his book bag for all the materials. It was quite strange that this class had so many books...at least compared to his other classes. The blonde quietly got into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. It was hot enough outside that he didn't bother with a sweatshirt or anything like that...it was getting closer to that weather though.
The blonde checked his cell for the time, since he didn't have an actual clock in his room. He didn't really see the point...there was one in the halls and he didn't ever use an alarm even when he was at home...he just naturally woke up around 6am...after he woke up at 3am before then to go to the restroom...it was just something that he did.
Roxas stepped out of his dorm, making sure to lock it before heading out. The blonde quietly walked towards his class, using his hand to shield his blue eyes from the growing sun. It was kind of early in the morning...at least for a college student. The boy stepped into the building where his class was.
The boy looked into the classroom to see the teacher had a syllabus out on her desk. The boy didn't pay much attention to the other occupants of the room, sitting down near the front of the room. English wasn't his favorite subject but sitting in front was proven to aid in memory. The boy set down his bag next to him and began to dig out his notebook.

The blue haired female watched as her class started to pile in. From the looks of the students most couldn't be more than eighteen...probably almost all freshman by the look of them. Though this wasn't always true, she knew of a few students she'd had last year that looked to be first years only to find out they were legally able to drink.
The female looked at the clock, not one of those old ticking ones you find in high schools...the electronic kind that most alarm clocks were now. The female watched, well it was time to get started at least...it was only the first day so she expected to have some late students since the campus was so large. Of course she was one of those teachers who didn't mind you being late as long as you were quiet and respectful about it as to not draw attention to yourself.
The female stepped back to the computer, the students easily able to see what she was doing because all her computer movements were being projected by the projector this room had. The female double clicked on the PowerPoint she had downloaded from her email, letting it load up. With a click she started it, simply having the first slide be the title of the class with her name under it.
The female turned to her class,"Okay then, lets get started." The female moved her body, leaning it towards the students so she was still close enough to the computer that she could change slides but was in full view of the students and could interact with them. "We'll just quickly go over the syllabus and then because its the first day we are going to do a little ice breaker."
The female smiled at her class, it was better to do it this way lest she get a reputation like one of the other faculty members as someone who was...well not the nicest teacher to have unless you have to. The blue haired female looked at her students,"The syllabus is pretty straight forward, I am your instructor Aqua Hikari and this is Basic English Composition. This class is designed to prepare you for academic paper writing that will be present in your other classes which is why we suggest it for first years. I'm not going to go through the required materials, but just note they are listed for you." The female was kind of rushing through this, they the syllabus was something they could easily look over in their own time, so she was just giving a quick run through.
"Now, in this class we will have three major papers that together will be worth 40% of your grade and we will spend little class time on them so most of your work will be out of class. We will also have five reading quizzes that counts towards 20% of your grade, but fear not...the lowest score among them will be dropped to help your grade. Just coming to class is also part of your grade, chances are if I know your name you are getting the full points. And homework, while each assignment seems small they all add up to 10% of your grade so try not to turn anything in late. My terms on late assignments are after the first day you can get a maximum of 70% and after three days you automatically get a zero. It may sound harsh but this isn't high school, we are all adults here and just like at work if you don't get your work done on time you are penalized." The female looked at her students, they all looked...well like they might have gotten what she was saying at least.
The female nodded,"There are extra credit opportunities that I will announce later. Also note the rules on Academic Dishonesty, or cheating as it is called. We here are very strict about these kind of behaviors, and repeat offenders might find themselves expelled." The woman nodded, as she had flipped through a few slides while talking, most just having the passages she was talking about that the syllabus had. The female looked at the students,"Any questions so far?"

Still asleep as the alarm clock went off, the steady drone of the thing blasted in Alex's head through her dreams of... Taking over the world, and other such non-sense. Slowly thick eyelashes parted as she looked at the clock. It wasn't making noise any more. Then she eyed the time.
"Eight, fifty..... OH F*** I'M GONNA BE LATE!!!!!!" A roll out of the bed as she scurried around to get dressed. Hopping around and crashing in to things as she went. Hopefully none of the males in this dorm would hear and come in to help her out or she'd be found out quicker than she'd ever been found out before. Panicking and charging around the room she started to bind herself up.
A sigh as she took in a breath and then carried on till she was almost entirely flat.
Right okay that's that done. No time for a shower so let's just get gone. Thoughts as she dashed around the room still throwing her clothes on giving her hair a quick run through with a brush before she shoved her hat on, grabbed her books and then headed out the door, locking it behind her. She didn't bother to eat. She didn't have time, but she did buy a bottle of water on the way to the class, swallowing as much of the water down as she could and shoving a piece of gum in her mouth as a way of brushing her teeth. Early mornings... Never sat well with Alex. Spitting out the gum in to a bin as she came close to the classroom she slowed her pace and got her breath back, slowly pushing the door open to the class she entered. "Sorry I'm late miss... I'll make sure to be on time next time." A nod as she grabbed one of the books and grabbed the nearest seat she could if only to not make too much of a scene and allow the class to continue. Wonderful, first class of the day and I'm late. That sets such a good impression, then again I was up most of the night kitting out my room, but that isn't an excuse I should've gotten up when my alarm started. A sigh as the thoughts ran through her head and she pulled out the books, this girl who looked like a boy, sounded like a boy most of the time and even acted like a guy most of the time, to the point where she was in the guys dorm and would probably try to get a girlfriend to make sure the masquerade stuck and she didn't fail at life horribly.[/blockquote]

He'd been sat at the back the entire time during the beginning of the lesson, even long enough to see the other boy walk in and appologise for being late. Though he hadn't really been paying much attention things had stood out in the whole speech that she made.
"Any questions so far?" Ah finally question time now he could either torture the teacher oooor he could just ask his questions. The latter of those two was what he was going to do so he began.
"I have a question.... Or two for you Ms. Hikari" The male finally spoke up before he stared at the teacher at the front of the class. She had a good figure, that was to be noted but that wasn't why he tried to get her attention.
"What exactly are the three major papers we have to do? It'd be nice to at least have a quick over view on those so we know what direction we're headed in." He stopped and took a pause before he carried on
"And why Quizzes? Shouldn't they be like exams or maybe even test papers? Or is quiz just a nice way of saying that? I'm not trying to pick at it or anything I'm just looking for clarification is all." With that said he chuckled before he leant back in his chair.
"Oh if you don't mind me asking. What are your favorite flowers~" A cheeky grin on her face as he lounged in the chair, he expected some sort of retort about that actually. Oh well, he may as well get his teasing out of the way now.

He stood up abruptly, a goofy grin plastered across his face, as he rushed over to his cousin and wrapped his arms around him in a friendly hug, “Hey, looks like we have class together, Rox! How exciting is this? |
” The brunet then realized that he probably should take his seat because it looked as if the class were about to start and he didn’t feel like getting in trouble, so he turned on his heel and took his seat once again. He tilted his head to the side, already finding himself bored after just a few moments of listening to the Professor talk—it wasn’t that professor Hikari was boring, she was quite pretty and Sora was sure that quite a few guys in class would find her a bit distracting and therefore pay closer attention to what it was that she was saying but…he…he just couldn’t. Sora had a hard time paying attention in general, he couldn’t sit still and his mind would always wander to another, completely unrelated, subject. ”Any questions so far?”Woops. He probably should have at least made an attempt to listen to what it was that she had said—it was probably important. But all he could think about was how fluffy the clouds outside looked, his sapphire stare glued to the window and the sky outside. They looked just like big puffs of cotton candy… A small dribble of drool snaked its way out of the corner of Sora’s lips at the thought of the delicious confectionary treat—man, when was class over again? He was starving! Despite the fact he’d just eaten 4 and a half bowls of Captain Crunch back in his dorm. He was vaguely aware of one boy coming into the class late, apologizing for not being on time and then finding a seat, but his mind was too preoccupied with thoughts of cotton candy and other goodies that he paid no attention to anything else.[/div] words: 351; tagged: class

[cs=2] template made by JADE of KU

[atrb=cellSpacing,20,true][atrb=border,0,true]
[atrb=width,450px][atrb=valign,center] Before we packed our bags, And left all this behind us in the dust,
We had a place that we could call home, And a life no one could touch.

Tomo wasn't listening to a word the blue haired woman said. Why? He had his headphones on and he was bobbing his head at the back of the classroom. Tapping the end of his pen on the table and his empty note pad as he listened to music and stared out the window. His blue optics took in the things that shifted out there and he ignored everything else in the room. Listening to the piano and drum beats that were flowing melodically through the speakers either side of his head. He was even tapping the tip of a shoe on the floor in rhythm with the song.
Doodling stick figures on the note pad he was trying to work out a possible plan for the soccer club. Something to do. Firstly there'd be an introduction he guessed. Where he would introduce himself then toss a ball to someone random and they'd tell everyone else a little bit about themselves.
Now?
Well he half wondered if the teacher would be telling him off soon, and he blinked a few times before he scanned over the syllabus on the desk before him. Flipping through a few pages so he could get a little more knowledge on what was going on. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all. This he could do. His eyes moved to the purple haired guy who was talking. Tomo could see his mouth moving but couldn't hear the words. He grinned and almost giggle snorted as he noticed the guys mouth movements were in time with the words being said. Almost like lip synchronosation. It was amusing to Tomo to say the least and with his failing attention span it allowed him to get a giggle before class started.

He looked over to see Sora. The blonde let a little smile cross his lips, a twitch if you will that showed he was happy to see his cousin. He looked as Sora went on talking...despite the fact the teacher was pretty much done with everything.
The spiky haired teen looked up at his cousin, speaking quietly. "Looks like it Sor, hope you don't need help in this class, |
" he teased. Then Sora went back to his seat, class was starting up for sure. She was pretty much going over the syllabus. It was nice, a nice first day for the first class he had. Ready and attentive, he watched the blunette speak. Most of the things seemed...well okay or good. it was nice that she had standards...though he thought the late policy was a little to harsh. Now the three major papers made his eye twitch a tiny bit...he really couldn't stand writing papers! I mean he was okay at them...well above average at it but he thought they were just so BORING! Besides, certain people in this class had the attention span of a gnat...no way they would be able to write three five to seven page papers without help. It was then that she asked if anyone had any questions. Well he had a question on why everything was so hard...why did he have to get stuck taking a class like this and when was he ever going to use this stuff...but he really didn't need to have a teacher hate him. He kept his mouth shut and shook his head...no questions from him. Some other kid had asked a few questions but that was it.[/div]
