Cheshy sighed and moved to walk forward, he was getting bored, the boy slipped his skates on his feet. And as he stood up he wobbled a little bit, the child made sure his cat ears were still attached to his head, and the tail was flowing behind him but had not hit the ground. He did not want to end up getting caught or whatever, he was just bored. He might as well just gotten out of here alongtime ago. It was not helping him anymore was it, and they might as well have just gotten past this. He did not have any friends it seemed and yet part of him was not caring at all he had to work harder even more now. He yawned and rubbed his eyes before he almost fell asleep. He was skating around and sometimes things just happened, they had many things going on and he wondered if the school wanted him around anymore. He hadn't made any friends it seemed, then again he hadn't bothered to try to do so. The world was a confusing one but at that time did he really care, no he had his own things in mind but he would not speak of that. He might as well have let it all go now. Before things got worse for him, at the moment he did not know if he really wanted to do this now.
There was just a few things that had been going on in his mind and in his heart. But he was ignoring it as he always did, there was no reason for some of this to happen. The child was always bored, he might as well just let it go. Nothing had helped him and there was just to much that his mind was trying to get out to him but he did not understand it at all. Even if of course he was trying he might as well have given it up. There was only so much she could have said and done. "This place has so much beauty..." He moved his backpack to his other shoulder and pushed forward again he was visiting the book store and he had just come from the craft store. There was just only so much that could have been done right now. There did just happen to be a few things he wanted to say and do.
But at the moment he was trying way to hard just to be normal, and even if he didn't like that idea he had no choice, he had to at least focus here and it was just that way. He toyed with one of the cat ears, as he skated toward the book store. He wondered he would see this time there had to be someone here he would be able to talk to. He had some manga books in his back-pack he wanted to find more. Maybe he could improve some of his drawing skills again. "What to make this time..." He had to wonder if it was a good idea to be out here alone, he barely knew the area but he might as well try he would not get anywhere if he didn't try.
It was just that way, and he wondered what friends he would make here, not that he would make very many he was very much sure of that.

NOT GONNA GET US Starting from here, let's make a promise you and me, let's just be honest we're gonna run, nothing can stop us even the night that falls all around us
words: 444 - tagged: Cheshire - notes: It took me so long, but it's here. And I seriously did find that fish song on the internet. xD
"I'm a little fish, I like to swim, You can't catch me, 'cause I have fins. When I swim past my friends, I hear them say, 'Stop your swimming and come and play!'" Giggling, the blonde first year, namely, Texia Shigura, skipped around campus. She was repeatedly singing her new favorite song, "I'm a Little Fish" that she'd learned from the internet. It was sung to the tune of a song called" I'm a Little Teapot", so she looked up that song, got the tune, and ever since been singing. Stopping both her skipping as well as her signing, Texia looked at her current surroundings. It seemed like she landed at the bookstore.
The location was quite ironic, as it happened to be her workplace too. She didn't have work today, so she saw no reason to stop in or anything. Under normal circumstances, she would have given the place on glance, then have been on her way. but this wasn't a normal circumstance. Why? Well, as Texia looked around the area a bit more, she noticed that someone was actually there! Loving to meet new people, she went right over to them, and got a closer look.
It seemed that said person was a boy, maybe around her age? And he had black hair... Along with cat ears? Leaning down, she looked at the ears closely. Tentatively, she reached her hand out and touched one of them. She blinked for a moment, simply staring.
She'd figured out that they were fake, however why was he wearing them? She pondered the possibilities for awhile, still in her position of staring at the boy's head. ”Maybe he likes cats, and wants to look like one. But, why would someone want to do that? I like fish, although I've never really thought if dressing up, or well, looking like one. So... why? Did he have some kind of costume he had to wear? Or was this just an everyday outfit for him?” Lost in thought, Texia was just confusing herself. Shaking her head and coming back to the present, it suddenly clicked in her mind that she hadn't moved for quite some time. Jumping back and standing up straight, she started laughing.
“Oh, I’m sorry for staying still that whole time! I was thinking about why you were wearing those cat ears, and well, is it some kind of costume? Wait, no, before you answer that, I should introduce myself. My name’s Texia Shigura. Who are you?” she said. As she stated her name, she stuck her hand out and smiled as brightly as she could. No harm in being as friendly as she could, right?

Cheshy was thinking over plans in his head, he had things he wanted to do. But at the time there was nothing that would have helped him, or anyone. He wanted to keep people from having much to do with him, but he liked talking to others. So of course that messed that up, not that he would talk about it again. He was just looking around, not that he cared if anyone else was here. He would be nice, it was his nature and he hoped that maybe he could make friends right. He squeaked when she touched his ears, even if they werent' real he still felt her touching them. Maybe because they had been on his head so long that he knew when someone was touching him. Or it would have been the fact that they moved a bit when they were touched. Not that he would talk about either now, he wanted to just make the best of things as he always had. He looked at her as she just stood there.
There was something about her, and yet he did not know what he was supposed to do, at times things just were a bit more complicated and he was trying to understand her. Even if well maybe deep down he couldnt' do such a thing. He had to wonder why she was laughing, there had to be a real reason though he didnt' know what it was. "It's kind of like a costume...and the name is Xenix, but you can calls me Cheshire or Cheshy if you want..." He smiled, and tried to contain his excitement. He liked meeting new people as well.
He kind of shook her hand, or well tried to he was nervous ish but he was not thinking about it now. There was nothing that would make him think that way.

NOT GONNA GET US Starting from here, let's make a promise you and me, let's just be honest we're gonna run, nothing can stop us even the night that falls all around us
words: 419 - tagged: Cheshire - notes: Going to tone down Texia's randomness and extremely short attention span a bit. Cheshire can cope, right? (Hopefully)
Texia kept on her smile, to be friendly as well as the fact she was truly happy. She happily shook the cat-boy, Cheshire or Cheshy's hand. His real name was a bit odd and foreign sounding to her, but no matter, she could work with Cheshy. Deciding that she would stay here for a bit and talk, Texia sat down right next to him, knees folded against her chest. Facing the black haired boy, she started to talk.
"It's really great to meet you Cheshy! And that's a really cool costume you've got! Is it because you like cats a lot? Or just like wearing cat ears? Oh, if you get the chance, can you get me some cat ears too?! That would be so cool! Wait, no, if you bought them at a store... then tell me which store, if you could. I'd love to wear animal ears! While my favorite pet animal happens to be fish, I don't think there'd be fish ears, because fish don't have ears!" she exclaimed. She talked without listening for any kind of response from the boy, and fell into a fit of laughter. She was now imagining fish with ears. Oh, what a sight it was! The orange goldfish, with furry little ears on its head! Her head moving back due to her laughter, she suddenly hit it on the wall behind her. Her laughing ceased, and Texia frowned slightly. She didn't hit her head hard or anything, but it stopped her train of thought.
Her eyes widening, she remembered she was talking to someone. Snapping her head towards Cheshy, she smiled again, yet apologetically.
"Oh, I'm really sorry about that. I kind of got lost in the thought of fish with actual furry ears. Speaking of pets, and animals, what's you favorite animal? Is it cats?" she asked. Texia hoped she could keep her focus on the current conversation. It seem like she always lost concentration when she got talking, and it was proving to be a major problem for her. Putting on a more determined face, she mentally decided her goal in this time with Cheshy was going to stay on topic and not consist of weird intervals of herself thinking about what pops into her mind too much. It seems that might be harer than it seemed, though, because Texia had done just that twice. And it hadn't even been ten minutes!

The boy happened to be as nice as he could to people, though she seemed easier to understand. Maybe it was cause she was random and seemed to be different. He was not to sure about it but he had to at least try. Or well more of understand her and see where it got him. He knew that she was nice just by the way she talked, and he was glad that the first person he had met was a nice person. He did not like making enemies, nor would he ever want to do that again. He looked down at her, and sat down as well digging into his bag and writing on a piece of paper. He was making a to-do list, he seemed to keep on getting more jobs now and he liked it. "Yea I like cats, bunnies and I actually have a cat but couldn't bring it out here today..." he wanted to but he had to leave her in the room, he didn't want anything to happen to her. "It's really nice to meet you to Texia..." He was actually doing better then he had thought he would have here.
"I can make some for you...I just have to get the stuff to make them..." He did not mind, and he wanted to just do something it at least was something to do. "Well we can make you ears and then just go from there..." he was roomed alone, so not like anyone could complain if he brought someone into the dorm with him. He kinda laughed to, wondering what was going through her mind it had to be something to do with fishes. Since she seemed to like fishes, just like he liked cats. "ow are you okay?" he looked over where she had hit the wall, it was just him being overly caring.
"It's okay...Things happen and yesh I like Kitty cats..." He knew he could get her to have some fun with him, maybe she could come with him to get his stuff to make the ears and the other stuff he wanted to make. He wondered if she was worried, there was something that seemed to be going through her mind and he wanted to know more about her. But he was to nervous to ask her.

Texia could only get more excited. Cheshy seemed like a really really nice person! He smiled almost as much as she did, and she smiled a lot. Her attitude had always been on the positive side, for the most part. To meet someone who was equally nice and friendly and happy was just great!
As Cheshy informed her of his animal preferences, Texia learned he liked cats as well as bunnies, even owning a cat himself. While the blonde wasn't too fond of any other pet besides fish, she respected his likes. Besides, she was the one who was asking for the cat ears in the first place.
Cheshire went into detail about getting her some cat ears, how they could her make her some. It was really kind of him to even offer to do so, and Texia made sure to note to help him make her ears as much as she could. They needed supplies or something, so maybe she would help get them or try to put them together or, well, something along those lines.
After she bumped her head, when Cheshire asked if she was okay, she gave him her usual smile, and said, "Oh, it's okay. I'm absolutely fine! Nothing major. That's cool you like cats. Although, kitty cats, that's a funny word! I'll have to use it more often! Oh, and I'm glad you can at least somewhat understand about my attention. I get lost in thought quite often, and that's why I kind of go off staring or laughing at nothing at all. It's become a habit or mine I guess, although I'm trying to overcome it. Anyways, when will you be able to make the cat ears? Not that I want to rush you or anything! I mean, we can just sit here and talk, that's just fine with me, absolutely fine!"
Texia wasn't trying to nag or anything, and so she felt she had to make that point clear. It would be nice to get the animal ears today, but tomorrow or other date in the future was fine with her too. Really, whatever Cheshire wanted, she was okay with. That also goes for a lot of other people she happens to meet with. You have to be nice to everyone, right? Texia was only a bit over excited as this particular person actually returned her friendliness. That in itself put him on her "good" or "friends" list.

Cheshy had always been the hyper one at the place they put him in, but he didn't care he had always waited for the time when he would find a person like him. Maybe it was why he had mostly agreed to this place. She did seem to be a bit more hyper then he was, not that he would ever complain it was not something he did. He always wanted to find people who were like him, and that was her, even if there was differences between them. Ones he might never bother to talk about much less bring up. If they could be friends nothing else matter, and she would be the one he tried to trust if he really could. He had to wonder things about her, like what animals did she like, or what did she like to do. Did she like to play in the park, or draw or anything like that. He had many things he liked to do, but he always tried to do things for other people like his friends and his family. Not that he really had very many people that he could care about, he was always pushing himself a bit to hard. Then again he was a orphan who felt that he had nothing to leave for, and would never be able to live for all of that. For anything he wanted to right.
He wanted to explore, and if bringing her was the way it was. He was happy with having her around though he was still not that trusting of her. He was just not sure if she knew anything about him, or if she would trust him. She seemed to trust him so far, he just barely ended up saying anything at all as he always had. He just had to wonder if his mind was tricking him and this was all a illusion, it never did work out that well. But the kid was always trying his hardest to have things change before it got worst again. He did not wish to deal with it now, and he was always going to work on again. 'Thank you...at least she is trying....maybe she can understand me...' He looked at her and wondered why she ended up hitting herself, or well things just happened. She might as well have explained things to her, but he gave up caring.
He would worry about it later, when he actually felt like doing that. There was just way to much that he could have said or done. He did not wish to talk about it, his past was just that the past and it would not change. "Uh I can start on them now..It shouldn't take me long...kinda got better at making them over the years..." He wanted to just get on with this, it was just way to hard and he knew that she might want something else from him now. "We can talk while we go get the stuff I brought my money with me too...so it all works.." He seemed to know what he was doing but did she at all.

NOT GONNA GET US Starting from here, let's make a promise you and me, let's just be honest we're gonna run, nothing can stop us even the night that falls all around us

A gigantic grin made its way onto the first year blonde's face. Her day was getting more and more fun by the very second! Not only has she gotten the opportunity to wear animal ears, which she thought were very cool, but she has potentially made a new friend, maybe even a best friend! In her eyes, nothing could dampen her mood, not even some trick from her brother! Literally jumping up, she wasted no time pulling Cheshy to his feet as well.
"That sounds fantastic! The sooner the better, I can't wait to get some! Maybe you can teach me since you're, like, what, some kind of pro at it? I could make some so I wouldn't have to bother you, or anything! I would hate to be a bother... And talking sounds awesome! I love learning new things and it's just so much fun socializing! Oh, but if you need money, I have lots you can use! I'm happy to pay, since it's my ears you're making, after all," she offered. It made sense to pay for your own things. Texia wasn't low on money, or anything, and it was no trouble. Although for some odd reason, others found it necessary to pay for things they didn't want. Her parents and brother had tried to explain it to her once, but she was still a bit foggy on the subject.
Shaking her head animatedly, her hair whipping her face, Texia decided to clear her head of unnecessary and protruding thoughts.
"So, which way are we going? This way? This way? Or, maybe this way?!" she asked. As she said so, her arms pointed in the different directions. As she got to third one, however, she was a bit tongue-tied on how to indicate. Looking back and forth for a few moments, she finally found her solution. Her leg! She stuck her leg in front of her, pointing to a path going straight from their current position. Doing so, however, made her have to balance on one foot, her arms spread out. Wobbling, her arms, once pointed straight out, were now making circular motions as she flailed a bit. Texia did her best to regain balance, but it was to no avail.
"Oh no!" were the words she thought of in her head as she came crashing to the ground. Luckily, her arm was there to somewhat support her, but her shoulder, which had hit the ground head on, was now sore. Sitting up, she rubbed it a bit, then dusted herself off. Sending a smile towards Cheshy, she almost started laughing.
"Well, which way are we going? It seems I didn't do too great of a job pointing out the ways..." she said, scratching the back of her head.

Xenix didn't know if it was cause they were both first years or just hyper as heck, some kids got along because of that maybe it was the same for them. He liked her, she was nice and fun to be around. At that time there was nothing that would make him think differently, no matter what happened he did trust her more then he had ever trusted anyone else right. Did she trust him to, or maybe it was just his imagination he did sometimes push things a bit more then he should have not that he ever talked about it. She pulled him to his feet, and well he had to be careful not to fall, one because he still had his skates on and he did not wish to fall and hurt himself or her. He would hate himself if he did hurt her. "Uh I've never taught someone before but I can try..." He would try if she really wanted to learn, that was just the way it was and maybe his mind was telling him to do that.
It would be good for him to make friends and even just to find new people out there like him. Though he could just live with having her as his only friend. He did not like the thought of having more then one friend, nor did he ever actually have one before. So if he didn't get another friend he would be just fine without them. Texia was a good person and a good friend it was all that mattered."Well uh if you want it doesn't bug me at all..." he was thinking about that, and yet it was not that easy. She had to understand why he did not wish to let others pay for the things he did. But he would let her if she really wanted to. He pointed ahead of him towards the store, and just kinda walked or well skated forward waiting for her.
He held out a hand to help her up, hoping she was okay he did not like the fact that she might have gotten hurt again he was not sure about that. But part of him said it was him caring about people.

words: 263 - tagged: Cheshire - notes: So short... I'm sorry D:
Smiling, Texia grabbed Cheshy's hand. She lifted herself up, and dusted off her clothes. Shaking her head a bit, as if to clear up her head from the fall a bit, she gave a sunny expression to the boy next o her.
"Thanks, Cheshy! For helping me up, that is. And don't worry, I'm a fast learner! And I'll be sure to ask you if I have any questions or problems! For sure. Also, I'm more than happy to pay! To me, honestly, it makes more sense like that. I requested the ears in the first place, so I pay. But, well, anyways, it may help to actually get to the store, right? It's this way. Well, uh, duh, you just said that yourself, so of course you'd know that! Anyways, let's go!" she exclaimed. She rushed forward, careful not to trip. It wouldn't be good if she had to have Cheshy help her again. That would make her feel a bit clumsy and well, who would want to constantly help someone who fell? It might get annoying, and Texia would never want to seem annoying, or make anyone feel negative feelings about her!
This time, she hadn't grabbed Cheshy, so it was just now that she realized he may have not followed her. Suddenly whipping around, she said,
"Cheshy, you're still there right!?" Her expression was somewhat panicked. What if she had completely left him behind?! that would be no good, no good at all!

Cheshy was amused by this girl, she was hyper like he was and yet there was a part of her that was so different from him. And no it wasn't that he was male and she was a female that would be stupid if that was what he was talking about. They were similiar and he really liked that he never thought he'd meet someone who was similiar like he was. It was just not something he had thought about. Not that he knew what was going to happen to them from here, maybe they would become better friends.
He could only hope that they would, it was something that maybe his heart wanted. He watched her, and kinda tried to keep his thoughts clear. He thought she was cute, and well he did know he could get along with her. It was just one of those things that took time didn't it. Even if he was not going to be anything more then a friend to her, it didn't matter. He was not one for being loved, so it didn't bug him anyway. He just wanted to make her happy now and give her the cat ears. Fish technically didn't have ears so well that couldn't be done but there was always making a fish costume they had those these days didn't they. "um...Your welcome.." He couldn't help but actually laugh to himself, not because she had fallen just cause he enjoyed being around her.
And he wouldn't have this any other way, if he had to be with anyone he'd rather have it be her, she would be his friend right. Always, well for as long as they were, he wondered if he had seen her before cause she seemed familiar. But he saw many people, he just never really remembered the names to the people unless he really liked them. "Well it's not that complicated...but sure I'll do my best to help you too..." that was what friends did for each other right, the whole friend thing was still kinda lost on him.
But he was never sad, he was always smiling and happy. Laughing even if well bad things happened, some people thought he was just hiding his sadness. Well maybe he was but the kid didn't think about it, nor would he want to anymore. "Well um if you really want to pay not that I mind doing it at all..." he was trying to be nice but he would also let her do what she wanted.
He followed after her, knowing she would probably freak if she left him behind or at least thought she had even though she hadn't. "Yea I'm still here don't worry.." He kept close behind her, she would not lose him he was a hard one to lose.

Texia gave a huge sigh of relief. Good thing Cheshy was still here! It would horrible if she'd left him behind; think of it, a person you'd just met simply run off without you! How god would you feel? Not good, not good at all. Or, at least Texia assumed no one would feel good. If they did, well, wasn't that a little strange? Shrugging off her thoughts for now, Texia wanted to make sure Cheshy knew she wouldn't leave him behind. Grasping his hand, even if he had rollerskates on, which honestly, she just noticed a little while ago, she wouldn't lose him this way!
Going on ahead, she made sure her hand was firm. No use trying not to lose him by letting go or slacking, right? He said the store was simply straight ahead, so that's where she was going. Soon enough, true to his word, the store was right in front of them! A grin coming over her face, she looked back at him.
"Alright, I'll pay. You just get the stuff we need! I'm sure I'm a quick learner, or maybe not, but I'm sure you'll do a fine job teaching! We'll go back to the bookstore once we're done, if that's alright... Or any other place you want is absolutely fine! Just name the place," she said. Before more words were spoken, she headed inside the store. Looking around, she made sure most of the store was visible, or well, the shelves in the store were visible. Taking a look at cheshy again, she asked, "So where are we going first? And well, what are we getting?"

This girl seemed to be nice, she might be a little hyper but then again so was he. There was nothing that would make this change, he would always be that way. He smiled, shifting his back-pack to at least make sure it didnt' fall off. He still had his skates on his feet, so it wasn't hard to keep up with her. He was just enjoying the view as he always did, the wind and the smell of coming rain. That was why he liked being outside, it was a place of beauty not many people bothered to stop and look at.
She took his hand and he kinda watched her confused, but he let it slide and just let her hold onto his hand. Not that he truly minded there was only a few things he could do from here on out. And well she seemed to be a good friend so he'd stick with her if she didn't mind that is. "Okay! Then we can start on them..." He didn't mind at all, making costumes was more of his thing it had always been then again he was a kid that wished to be part cat.
Even if nothing happened, he knew that his life was a bit complicated now. But he would ignore it when he was with her, she was helping him even if she didn't know it. "The bookstore works..." He started grabbing things off of the shelves putting them in a basket of sorts. It wouldn't cost much with how he did it, so she shouldn't worry about that. But she wanted to and he was being nice.
To him it was just like the time he was nice, and helped someone make a costume, but then those people knocked him out and tied him to a tree. Though that wasn't bad it was the fact that they had stolen his clothes....he found them later in the tree when he untied himself but still. He shook those thoughts from his mind as he went back to his work. "Just grabbing a few simple things...pick a color for the ears doesnt' matter what color."

As Cheshy grabbed the store-provided basket, and started to get the necessary supplies off the shelf, Texia simply followed, peering over his shoulder. She figured while she didn't know what to get and how to assemble the ears now, if she started to watch and observe how Cheshy did it, then she'd maybe be able to make some for others, eventually. Start learning as soon as possible, right? Even if she didn't memorize how to do it right away, she would get it if she kept at it, right?
As he asked her what color, she paused. What color should she choose? Should it match her hair and be yellow? Or maybe a more natural color, like brown? Or, maybe an uncommon, fun, color like purple? In the end, Texia decided to get a semi-common color that happened to be her favorite one: orange.
"I'll get orange ones, okay?" she asked. To save him the trouble, she grabbed the necessary colored supplies and put them in the basket herself.
"So, anything else or are we set to pay? I'm getting really excited for this! You're such a nice person Cheshy," she said. While they may have not been done, Texia figured she might as well take out her wallet. They must be close to done, right? So, she brought out the small white object with the orange fruit print that held all her money. She hoped it didn't imply she wanted to get out of the store and rush him, so she kept it a bit low. She had nothing to do, so Texia didn't mind however long they'd stay here.

Cheshire did know what he was doing here there was just nothing that would make him like this place more. He loved making things, people did not like him very much but that was always bound to happen wasn't it. He wanted to know if he was doing the right thing by having anything to do with people. It was just not that easy for all of this to happen anymore, he wanted to get out of this place before it well ended up causing problems. She wanted to learn about all of this didn't she, or at least what he did. So if he did manage to teach her then well it would at least be a start he just had to want to do that. He could tell she was watching him, maybe he should have started to teach her now but he would do that later. Since well now he was focused on getting what he wanted and getting the heck out of here. He waited for her to pick a color, girls always took time to think on things he knew this from all he had dealt with before. Not that it made any sense he was not sure if she would be able to pick fast enough. He would just keep on waiting till she did then go from there right. "If that is what you want...." He didn't know what to do about that, but he would let her pick and deal with it on her own.
There was nothing that he could have done anyway to really make this happen, or work out that way he knew sometimes it was just way to complicated for all of this to work like it should. "Um I got everything I think....so we can go..." He smiled, and kinda seemed to bounce well more of skate to the counter. Since he never bothered to go anywhere without his skates they knew him well here. And never asked him to take them off, even though someone else might have said they should have. He looked to her wallet, it expressed her personality. Maybe it was just his imagination but he felt like they would be good friends for as long as they were here. And then maybe even afterwards. He just wanted to be overly cautious but his mind was getting the better of him here. He couldn't and wouldn't be able to hide from who he had been before.
There was no escaping a personality that was there from the day they were born he knew this way to well. He watched the person there start bagging the stuff as he dug around for his card. He would at least get some reward points from this, it was useful here which is why he had gotten it. "Thank you sir..." He looked to her, and kinda wondered what to do next. They had to go back and start working on this well if they wanted to. It was not really much of a rush type of thing as maybe he thought it might have been.
