Erazia had gotten quite accustomed to the school campus. Or, somewhat accustomed. She could find her classes no problem, and could get to her room fairly easily when she needed to go there. And this was enough to make her feel pretty proud of herself. Of course, she wanted to tell her brother, Zeran, all about it, but she knew he wanted some space. They weren't kids anymore so she had to stop sticking like glue to him. So far, she thought she was doing a pretty good job of it.
Now, one of her favorite buildings of all stood before her. The Hopkins Library. Erazia loved reading, especially a good book. She read any genre, basically, but it had to have a happy ending. She couldn't stand ones with death or loneliness being the resolution. It just didn't go well with her.
Pushing open one the door to the interior, Erazia gazed around at the books. It was even better than she imagined! She could already see herself wasting countless hours sorting through the different books, and the couches and tables provided for reading said books look incredibly inviting.
Heading to the nearest shelf, she started to look at every book that caught her eye. It was amazing how many interesting books there were here! Almost every one she picked up she wanted to read. But she didn't, as reading would have to wait until she'd taken a good look t various other books. No harm came from widening your horizons right?
As she approached a new aisle of shelves, she saw a giant ladder. Not as tall as the ones in hardware stores, but bigger ones than normal that reached the height of the top of the bookcases, whom were about 8 feet tall. The silvery spine of a large book near the top caught her attention. Wanting to pick it off, instead of disturbing anyone, Erazia decided to take matters into her own hands. She rolled the ladder (it had wheels) towards it, then started to climb. When the book she wanted was in taking range, she easily plucked it off the shelf.
It was now she decided to instinctively do what everyone is told not to do when they were high up. She looked down. Okay, so she was only about three feet off the ground. But, looking down, is seemed more than that.
Erazia now found herself stuck on the ladder. She couldn't move. She imagined herself falling and breaking a bone or two, or possibly on someone else, causing two people pain rather than simply herself. Turning her head around to scan the area, she looked for someone to help her.
[OOC: Erazia doesn't have a particular fear of heights, but in this case, it just seems scary to be up that high from where she is. That, and I'm going to sleep soon and needed some kind of predicament XD)

Roxas looked up at the rather large building they called a library. More like a giant castle of books to be honest. The boy tilted his head as he walked through the giant doors. It was so much larger then the library back in Twilight Town...though the library there got very little funding.
The blonde haired boy started to scope the aisles, going through the mystery section first. The blonde ran his fingers gingerly across the different spines. There were quite a few of the books he had already read...though back in high school he didn't have many friends so this wasn't a surprise.
The boy stopped on the new mystery novel from Katy Reiches. He plucked the book out of its place, turning it over to read over the back. He had always enjoyed her books...even if he didn't really understand every single thing they talked about. He got the basics and the science stuff...most of the time. The blonde grabbed onto the book and moved out of the section and into the fiction section just nearby. This section was mostly older novels, though it was mixed in with some more teen centered readings.
The boy didn't really notice the female on the ladder, she was probably just getting a book anyway. The blonde went about looking through the shelves, tracing his index finger across one of the rows...which just happened to be the one right next to the ladder. It was kind of funny. The boy picked out a book, but put it back just as quickly. It had looked interesting...but the cover was kind of scary!

In her search for help, Erazia spotted a blonde boy. He walked right past her, and looked at a book next to the ladder. He picked one out, then put it back almost immediately. Seeing this as her chance, she decided to go ask him for help. Leaning down slightly, she said,
"Um, excuse me, can you-" She didn't get to finished her sentence. In the process of asking, she slight leaned down, an instinct perhaps to make sure he knew she was talking to him. Except, she lost her balance and fell right off. She did her best to avoid fully landing on top of the boy, and managed to somewhat do so. She fell more to her right, but knocked the boy down with her arm.
Upon landing on the floor, her other arm, her right one that is, shielded her head from impact, but the rest of her body landed uncomfortably on the ground. At least the floor was carpeted. Lifting her head and pushing herself up so she was in an upright position.
Her legs hurt, and she flinched when she tried to move them. So, instead, she put a smile on and asked the boy,
"Are you okay? I'm sorry I kind of fell and knocked you over. I was actually trying to ask you for help to get down from the ladder, but it seems I got myself down instead." She let out a bit of a laugh at the end, then turned serious.
"But, I'm serious, did I hurt you?"

Roxas just heard a light, feminine voice before it happened. In all honesty he hadn't really been paying attention to what she said...but its not like it mattered. In a flash he felt this pressure on his chest, his feet leaning backwards...pulling him to the ground. With a light thud he hit the ground...thank you for carpeting.
The boy was quite light and small, so it wasn't a surprise that the girl managed to knock him over on her way down. At least it was only with her arm and not with the full weight of her body...how embarrassing would that be...getting knocked down by a girl...though it still kind of was this way as well.
The blonde boy leaned forward to sit on his butt. His bottom and back ached a little, but he was certain nothing was broken or sprained...just a little aching and a headache that would probably go away with some Tylenol or something. The blonde put her hand to her forehead, mumbling a quiet,"ow..."
After a minute or so the boy looked towards his attacker...well not really attacker but close enough! She fell on him after all. The boy tilted his head at her as she asked him if he was fine. The small blonde nodded in response,"...just achy...you?" he said, not knowing really why he had to ask. She fell...so she was probably feeling the same type of pain he was.

Erazia sighed in obvious relief. At least the boy wasn't hurt. Not more hurt than her, anyways, and she was only in pain. A good amount of pain, but nothing a few pain relievers can't fix. Turning her attention back to the blonde, she put some of her hair behind her ear.
"Oh, I'm okay. Just, achy. Like you said. Nothing big." Deciding to overcome the pain, she moved her legs from the ground, and tried to stand up. She felt as if an electric shock ran through her legs, and almost fell down. But she saved herself by gripping the ladder. Getting over the initial pain, she bent her knees down and offered her hand to the boy.
"I'll help you up. Then, we can go sit at the tables. I'm not sure about you, but I don't feel like walking around that much now. And, I feel bad about knocking you over, so maybe we can just keep each other company," she said.
Meanwhile, her head was racing with thoughts. She was mainly concerned with helping this blonde boy. she had to be as friendly as possible, as to not let him get the wrong idea about her. Plus, if he was in the same condition as her, which she greatly assumed he was, he'd want to sit down. Somewhere comfortable preferably. Also, she needed to somehow show she was sorry. One word didn't cut it, so she had the feeling she might be spending a good amount of time with this boy.

Roxas watched as the girl kind of struggled to get up. Well she did fall farther then he did so it wasn't surprising she had been injured...he himself was hurting and he was on the ground. The boy watched as she leaned against the ladder to keep herself completely steady. A hand reaching out to help him up.
The boy originally tried to get up by himself, managing to lift himself partially off the ground before a pain shout through his thigh. His...well just the not greatest place hurt when he tried to move...his hind quarters hurt. The boy groaned a little as he let the girl help him up, leaning against the shelves to keep his balance. The boy didn't dare move right away, lest the pain return with each step.
The boy looked at her,"n..no...I can make it...what about you?" Of course concern was present...I mean she didn't mean to tackle him to the ground in a way right? This was the least he could do...he could easily just hold onto the shelves to get over to the nearby. The boy looked at the female...if she was in the same condition as he was she could probably make it to the table right by them...but then again she had fallen farther and face first instead of on her butt like he did.
The blonde leaned in against the shelf further, be glad these shelves are pretty much rooted to the ground...and that he isn't like one thousand pounds. A small shoot of pain caused him to cringe as he moved, but within a few seconds it was gone as he rested in this position. The blonde looked at the girl, ready to go over towards the table. "Lets try to get over there as quick as we can?" he suggested.

The boy took her hand and she pulled him up. Using the shelf as support, he managed to stand on his own. Moving her legs a little, she felt she could somewhat walk better. The boy then asked if she could walk. Turning towards him a little, she replied,
"Oh, I can make it. There's no need to worry about me." She let out a small giggle as he asked to go to the table. The idea appealed to her as much as it seemed to appeal to him. "And yeah, let's get to the table."
Erazia started to walk towards the nearest one. She was suddenly glad the library always had comfy chairs to sit in, with cushions and everything. Or maybe they knew people fell off the ladder a lot and did so on purpose. But whatever the reason, she was simply grateful. It took a few minutes for her to be able to walk without the book shelf, and by doing so, she made it to their destination quite fast.
She headed towards one of the chairs, and pulled it out from under the table. She unceremoniously plopped down, breathing a breath of relieved air as she did so. It felt much better sitting down in this chair compared to the floor. But before she could relax, she looked at Roxas, waiting for him to take a seat as well. Then, he'd become a victim of insistent apologies from Erazia.

The tables looked nice...but the chairs looked much nicer! They were those nice ones with the comfy cushions and back rests unlike what they had in the classrooms which were annoying to sit in for more than an hour.
The blonde grabbed onto the ladder for support, pushing himself towards the tables, using the magic of upper body strength to keep himself supported for most of the trip. When he reached the end of the book cases he pretty much threw himself towards the table, grasping onto the chair's backing.
Roxas grabbed onto the table to remain standing and pushed the chair out with his left hand. With a soft sigh he landed on his butt in the wonderful chair of pure awesome. There was a slight twinge of pain from the initial contact but it slowly vanished as he got used to it.
The male looked at the girl who now sat by him at the table. With a smile on his face he said "Well that was fun. |
" It was a little sarcastic in tone perhaps, but it was a little fun to meet someone new at least. Roxas looked at the other student, tilting his head a little. " Oh, Um sorry but I don't think we've been introduced really...my name's Roxas...Roxas Hiroaki and you are?" he said politely. The boy was smiling now that he didn't have to move his lower body...the pain pretty nonexistent at this point thankfully. Roxas let his elbow rest on the table, a bad habit or manners perhaps but he let himself have some slack because...well he just had been injured! I mean it's okay then right? Well...not like it matters because that's what he was doing while he waited for the girl to respond. [/div]

Erazia waited as the boy sat down beside her. He made a seemingly joking remark about the experience being 'fun', then introduced himself. Apparently, his name was Roxas Hiroaki, a bit unusual, but it seemed to fit him. Or, maybe it was just that all names fit the person whom they'd been given to. Erazia ft herself, and Zeran fit her brother, and Roxas fit... well, Roxas. Maybe if she'd been given a different name, it wouldn't fit her. Or, maybe she'd think that one fit, and Erazia didn't fit.
By now, her thought process had gone very much off track. She placed her ahnds on her lap, and smiled politely at Roxas.
"Oh, I'm sorry for spacing out a bit there. My name's Erazia Heartt. And, I'm really sorry for knocking you over." she said, concerned. She'd never actually hurt someone before, and it made her feel very much guilty. The mere thought of causing someone pain was just, unimaginable. She had to make sure he was completely fine! With renewed determination, she went into an onslaught of apologies.
"Uh, Roxas? Again, I'm super sorry! I hope you're not really hurt that badly, and, uh, will you want to go to a nurse or something? Is there even a nurse here? Oh, if there is, I'll be happy to escort you! Or, just accompany you, I guess. I'm really not sure how hard I knocked you to the ground, so you might be even worse off than I am! Although I'm okay, for the most part, but, maybe you're...not?" Erazia was a bit lost. She needed some kind of way to express how bad she felt. But how? She felt like hitting her head a bit, but that would just make her seem, strange, perhaps. After a few moments of thinking, it finally came to her. She clasped her hands over his.
"Roxas, I promise, after this, I'll do anything you ask! Okay?"

He tried not to shift in his seat, for fear of the pain coming back. The blonde haired boy tilted his head a little as she said her name as Erazia...Heartt...of course his instinctual spelling was Heart for her name but...that's life right? "Nice to meet you Erazia... |
" he said trailing off as she started to apologize...a little to much actually! The freshman rubbed the back of his spiky blonde locks as she apologized a heck of a lot for something that was totally an accident...and by how much she was apologizing you'd think she nearly killed him! " It's okay really, nothing broken," he said just guessing...none of his bones felt broken and his legs just felt sore...not that odd feeling you get when you break something. " I'm fine really," he said again as she kind of went on a tirade of apologizing...it was really weird. She then promised to do him something...instantly something came into his mind. But...no he couldn't ask that...I mean some people like Sora don't mind and would do it in a second...especially because it was Roxas doing it. Then again she didn't seem shy...so maybe she would. " Anything?" he asked her, furrowing his brow...what he had in mind was dirty. I mean it was really really dirty! I mean Sora liked things dirty...like what he did last weekend with Sora...now that was really messy! Oh well, lets see how she replies with this. [/div]

Erazia listened intently to every word Roxas said. She was thoroughly determined to help him in some way. The next time an opening arose, she would snatch it up. Causing pain, even if it wasn't much, was like a giant weight on her shoulders. Maybe she shouldn't have been so nice in her childhood. Or, no, that wasn't it! You should always be nice to people, no questions asked! Unless they insulted Zeran or anyone else close to you. This was her life moral, the code by which Erazia lived by. Even if it would make this situation a bit easier to handle, one should never have wished for cruelty or un-niceness. Never.
She focused on Roxas again just in time to hear him ask if she'd really do anything. Well, of course! Why wouldn't she? There were a few limitations, like causing harm to someone else, anything involving um, death, and anything negative towards her brother. But surely those were out of the question when referring to "anything" in this case, right? Her determined face still in tact, Erazia managed a smile as well.
"Yes, absolutely anything. I promise," she said. Whatever he wanted her to do, it couldn't be that bad. Besides, she really should be glad he even had something in mind. More than once had she come across stories of people saying they "didn't have anything in mind at the moment". If Roxas had done that, well, Erazia would either plead to do something, or live eternally in guilt. Both unfavorable outcomes.
