Despite the chill of October, the weather was actually quite beautiful and she found it to be nice enough to take a trip into town rather than spend the day cooped up in her dorm room like she usually did. After a rather long walk from her dorm room, through campus, and down through the town Akii finally found herself standing before the entrance to Amaryllis Park, shaded by a cluster of tall trees. Her golden gaze danced back and forth, scanning her surroundings for a waste bin—on her extensive walk down to the park she had gotten thirsty and stopped by one of the local cafés to grab a strawberry smoothie, which by now had been reduced to a melted mix of water [from the ice] and strawberry flavored syrup. Spotting one, Akii glided forward and disposed of the red stained plastic cup.

Shuffling forward Akii crossed over the invisible line that separated the city from the calm of the park, the scent of fast food and car exhaustion disappearing, only to be replaced by the delightful smells of pine and amaryllis’ [which the park got its name for]. It was like stumbling into a whole ‘nother world, she quickly regretted not coming here sooner—sure she’d come down and relax in the nature-y setting of the park before, usually lugging her charcoals and paints down with her so that she could sketch the peaceful setting, but usually schoolwork got in the way, making it next to impossible for her to leave campus on most days.

The whistling of birds overhead briefly caught her attention, she tilted her head back, peering up into the canopies above to try and find the creatures responsible for such beautiful noise. Her golden gaze met nothing but oranges, yellows, reds, and browns—autumn turned leaves that indicated that summer was now over and fall was finally here.

A particularly chilly breeze rushed by her, ruffling through her long silver locks and making them dance around her in the wind. Subconsciously her arms moved to wrap around her torso, goosebumps pricking at her bare arms—she knew she had forgotten something when she’d left her dorm that day, but she just couldn’t remember what it was. Well, now she remembered; it was a jacket. Akii felt incredibly foolish but as long as those chilly breezes didn’t blow by frequently she’d be okay.

‘Kyaaah! Why me?!’ The thought had crossed the petite girly figure quite a few times and Chi still didn’t understand why this constantly happened to her. She’d been walking through the park minding her own business when she ran into a group of guys…quite literally. One of the guys had caught onto her shoulder as she stumbled and steadied her. At first she thought that was just the sweetest thing for a guy to do…until he started talking. Still remembering the things that came out his mouth made her face flush wish embarrassment and disgust. What a lecher!! He wouldn’t let go of her shoulders so without a thought she’d taken her heeled foot and smashed it down on his toes. Hurray for her when he’d let go with a yelp. Of course she’d proceeded to run but she hadn’t expected they’d follow her.

Hence the situation she was now in. Her flowing raven hair was whipping around behind her as she ran, her long pink dress was held in her hands to keep out of the way of her running feet. She looked behind her and saw the guys, smirking and calling jeering comments behind her. Blushing once more she stuck her tongue out at them and called out, “Hentai!! I’ll call the police on you!!” She noticed a little turn and took it, glancing behind her just to see she’d gotten out of their sight. Unfortunately she wasn’t looking where she was going and she ran into someone…again. Letting out a little yelp she went tumbling down. She noticed it was a girl and her nerves already frayed Chi started spouting out nervous apologies as she continued glancing behind her. “I’m sorry! I’m sooo sorry! I didn’t see you, I should have been looking!!! I wasn’t paying any attention. Please forgive me.”

She helped the girl up and began brushing her clothes of any dirt that had gotten on it just as she heard a familiar voice call out a lewd comment. Yelping Chi rushed behind the girl and hid, sticking her tongue out at the guys. “Leave me alone, hentai!! I’m going home with Nee-san.” She scowled at them from her position behind the girl, silently apologizing for getting her involved but she was scared and she couldn’t think of anything else to do. The guys frowned and started to mutter underneath there breathes, debating now that there was someone else in the equation if they wanted to continue. Slowly they turned around and left. Chi let out a soft sigh of relief before turning to the girl and giving her a sheepish grin. “Gomen, Nee-san. I didn’t mean to involve you with that.” Stretching out her hand and grinning she chirped out, “I’m Fuitchi Kurayami but call me Chi.”

While admiring the beauty of nature and mentally praising whoever it was that took care and kept the park well-maintained she recalled hearing a commotion somewhere down the path—voices, all loud, but the words were a little obscured making it difficult for her to pick apart the words that were being said. Shrugging, Akii figured it was probably just a bunch of kids playing a game, though slightly wished that they’d take their loud voices elsewhere, she was trying to de-stress herself from all the work that her professors had piled on her and their rowdy behavior wasn’t helping her to relax at all.

It wasn’t long before those raucous voices became clearer and clearer as the owners of them got closer and closer to where she was, go figure that the one day she’s finally able to sneak away from her dorm and the mountains of work that she was assigned and there’s rowdy boys in the park to make the experience less than enjoyable. Her eyelids slid over her golden gaze for a moment, drawing in a deep breath, before reopening her eyes—she wouldn’t let a couple of obnoxious guys ruin her walk…she’d just have to ignore them…or get to an area in the park where their voices didn’t carry.

Akii let her feet guide her away from her current position…unfortunately for her she didn’t make it very far before she was bowled over by a…little girl? The silverette fell back under the weight of the child with a thud against the stone path, a startled gasp ghosting over her lips from the sheer shock of the situation as she laid there for a moment or two before the girl who had run her over stood to help her up all the while apologizing for not looking where she was going. Akii bit her lip, allowing herself to be helped to her feet, that’s when she noticed a group of guys not too far from them and she was able to put two and two together. They must’ve been the rowdy boys that she’d heard earlier…

“Leave me alone, hentai!! I’m going home with Nee-san.”

The silverette felt the need to speak up and play along with the younger girl’s ploy to get the older boys to leave her alone, but turned out that she didn’t need to. They seemed to deliberate amongst themselves whether or not it was worth it now that there was a witness to what they had been doing, before deciding that it was not worth it, shrinking away and leaving the two girls alone.

Her attention returned to the raven haired girl as she began to speak, and Akii couldn’t help but to offer the younger girl a small, polite smile.

“No, it’s not a problem at all.

[/color]” She paused, before adding, “I’m glad you did, otherwise they might not have left you alone.[/color]”

“I’m Fuitchi Kurayami but call me Chi.” Well, that was a cute name!

“I’m Akii Kurosawa, call me Kii or Akii, whichever you’d prefer.[/color]”[/size]
