Hild sighed as she looked at the now empty bottle in front of her. Since it was a Saturday, she'd come into the joker first thing it opened. She loved the music, the lights and on occasion the view. Though, her getting here was about 2 hours ago... or was it three. Oh hell it didn't matter, she wasn't causing trouble which meant her cousin who had taken up a job as a bouncer here couldn't throw her out. She both loved and loathed that he had taken a job here not just for the money but to keep an eye on her. Sure, it was nice to know someone had her back since she had to change her name and all, but he was way too serious sometimes, unlike how his sister had been. She kinda wished the old Rune would come back on that one.
Though, that wasn't her main reason for emptying the bottle of rum she had in her hand that she lazily swung between her index and middle finger. There were two reasons for that. Reason one was her thoughts were yet again stuck on what happened almost 9 years ago with her and her family. The other that wasn't as much a factor but still part of it was she was told by the school she'd have a roommate in her apartment. Sure the other person would have their own bedroom, but on the other chances were the person would be a total kill joy... and have an issue with Hild liking to have alcohol. So in all likely hood, this was the last night she could probably drink and have some peace if she had too much. Though, the bartender had given her the crap stuff and Hild could down plenty of the good stuff without getting drunk, despite her size and all.
She picked her head up off the bar and fixed her shirt to make sure it covered her. It was one she had made herself, which had a v in it from the collar down past to a spot a couple inches above her waist, the other couple inches below the v of the shirt sticking just as tight to her skin and mostly helping keep her decent. When she wore her shirts like this and all she made, she didn't wear a bra since it was uncomfortable and the shirt was made to be comfortable without one. That being said, one occasion had proven why the v now stopped just below her naval instead of right at her waist. She liked to show her body off but not as much as she did when the tiny bit of fabric snapped. Though, she like how the purple and black top felt and how it matched with the short black skirt she had on.
She brushed her long white hair back, the clinking of the ornaments in her hair drowned out by the loud music. "Hey bartender, another bottle of rum, and this time the good stuff" she said, the bartender getting what she asked and warily handing it to her. Apparently they weren't accustomed yet to a girl that could hold their liquor. She got the top off and took a big swig, before placing it down on the bar and looking around. "..wheres all the hot girls when you need them..." she said to herself. Maybe that would get her mind off of the past and the potentially bleak future.

Spending the summer with a friend had been nice – she was able to get away from this school and get her mind on more important issues for a while. But now she was back, living out of a car and motel for the moment, just for the few days before she was supposed to move with the roommate the university had set up for her. It wasn’t an ideal set up, she hadn’t had a roommate since graduating from college… it was just that her pay was too low and her savings were basically gone at this point. But at least she was supposed to have a female roommate – or that’s what they made it sound like – which was better than having a man (or a straight man at least), so that had to count for something. Didn’t it?
Well, it was better than an alternative, Hypatia supposed. She was just sort of pissed that she knew that there were students who could probably afford better housing than she could. Eh, that’s why she was walking in the Joker. Get some booze in her system so that she would feel a bit cheerier, even if it meant that she would be in more pain the next morning. But you’re not supposed to think about the next morning, when you wake up wanting to drill a hole in your head to relieve the pressure, but let the chest rattling bass take over and lose yourself in the bottle. And maybe find someone to dance with? Probably not tonight, that was not why she was here – she didn’t want to wake up with someone next to her, not hung over, not at the start of the new school year. That would be the way to escape the boredom once that took over her mind – you know, the Friday of the first week.
So, Hypatia walked over to the bar – avoiding the dance floor as much as possible, though it was hard to avoid some of the glances that women always get in places like this. She had tried to dress conservatively, a pair of dark blue jeans, a black and white pinstriped shirt, a black vest, and flats instead of heels, but it didn’t seem to matter. It was a pity the university didn’t have a gay bar, though then she’d probably have to deal with the lustful gaze of women, which wasn’t much better.
As she approached the bar, Hypatia was about to take a seat on the corner, when she saw something a little unusual. The bartender was carrying a full bottle of rum, without that pouring thing on the top, to a customer and just handed it over – and the woman started playing with it between her fingers before taking a drink straight from it. Why not just drink gasoline, Hypatia thought to herself. And she would have just sat down, but she thought she knew this woman – she was affiliated with the university, a teacher she though, and one she hazily remembered seeing in the Joker before, though she couldn’t really recall that too well. So, with a slight nod of her head to the side, she walked down the bar, taking not the seat next to the white haired professor, but the one two seats away. It popped in her mind to tell the bar tender that the other woman would be paying for her drink, it would have been fun, but instead, she just told him, “Scotch, single malt, neat.” She looked down, to see if the woman was still drinking her rum from the bottle. Hypatia wanted to keep an eye on her, to see how long it took her to start a fight.

Hild took another swig of her bottle, noticing someone that seemed familiar pause and than move closer, but she lost sight of her in all the people. She shrugged it off, since she knew plenty of faces from frequenting here and at other alcohol serving establishments. Not that there were many around here, kind of lame their was no gay bar or strip joint, but than again maybe she could get into real estate ventures here. Though, technically she wasn't supposed to use that money. It kind of sucked that she had a ton of money to do with as she pleased, but because she was in witness protection, she couldn't really use it as much as she wanted. She couldn't even get enough to get a house and all. Sure, she hadn't lost the values of working hard that her family had put in her, she wasn't like most children of the rich that were spoiled brats but they could have at least let her get a house instead of making the school pay for her residence. Oh well, another reason she needed a good damn drink.
She than felt a hand on her leg and took another swig, trying to ignore the man in the seat next to her. Though once his hand started up she looked at him and said "Get your hand off my leg", removing it for him. "Don't you wanna have fun?" the man said, clearly well past his limit. "One, I'm sober still, two, even if I was blind stinking retard drunk, I wouldn't have fun with you cause I'm a lesbian". she replied, not even looking at him as she than drained the rest of the bottle. If she was going to have to deal with creeps like him all night, she was going to need a lot more alcohol. She was still sober, so if she got drunk at least she was more playful and less caring and all. At least that was the case unless you pissed her off. If you made her angry drunk it was actually worse than when she was sober... than again it was hard to tell she was drunk if she was angry since she seemed sober. "Hey bartender, think you can mix something for me that'll actually get me drunk enough to put up with him?" she asked, the bartender shaking his head as he got some girls drink ready. She thought she knew the voice, but passed it off at the disappointment of not being drunk and dealing with this clown.
The man grabbed the drink out of the bartenders hands and downed it, Hild not getting a chance to say it was rude before he stood up and grabbed her chest from behind, his aim off in his drunken state. And to make matters worse his attempt at dragging her off the stool only led to him pulling the sides of the shirt away and exposing her chest till she yanked it back closed, several wolf whistles being heard and the man laughing. "Creep" Hild yelled before punching him. He mearly laughed as he said "come on lets see them again", though before Hild did anything more, her cousin Rune who had been watching and was the bouncer grabbed him by his hair and slammed his head against the bar before the man could touch Hild again.
"Thank you Rune". Hild said as the man between her and the girl got up, which let the man see the girl in the pin stripe shirt as Rune said it was no problem. "Hey babe, how about you, your rack is probably bigger and nicer than hers". he said to the girl, Rune looking over to see his art professor from the year before. "Sorry about that professor Arovka" Rune said as he yanked the man up by his hair and started dragging the protesting man to the door.
Hild looked over at hearing the name as she finished fixing the shirt so she was decent again. She noticed the other professor and was slightly puzzled at seeing her here. She had never taken the woman from what little she knew of her to be the type to come to a place like this. She looked her over in the normal manner someone would when being surprised to see someone there, though, in the back of her head she really couldn't help but wonder if what the guy said about her breasts being bigger was true. Hild had to admit the girl was attractive, so like her, she was probably going to get the same comments all night.
"Hello Hypatia" Hild said as she moved over to the seat next to her. "I'll have what she's having, and her drinks are on me". she said to the bartender who nodded and made a second, placing one in front of each. She than looked back over to the other professor as she said "Drink as much as you want, if your gonna stay here you'll probably need it. My brother can only be in so many places at once", than downing the drink. She considered Rune a little brother, even though technically they were cousins. Plus there was the fact he was a cop and part of his cover on protection detail was that he was her younger brother and everyone here knew him as such. She licked her lips at the taste, not fond of neat drinks. "Another scotch, but straight up this time" Hild said, the bartender nodding.
(sorry for the sorta random drunk bit, your bit on starting a fight and all gave me the idea and thought itd be kind of funny >> lol)

It was sort of impressive how quickly her colleague could finish a bottle of alcohol. It was also sort of frightening that someone could drink that fast. And it was mind boggling how the woman wasn’t on the floor, passed out. In the short time that Hild had downed her second bottle of the evening, Hypatia had only gotten to her second glass of scotch, but then again, she had never found rum to be tolerable enough to savor. On the other hand, it was not as though the stuff she was drinking was all that great – nothing really had tasted as good to her since a friend bought her a bottle of some ridiculously expensive stuff a few years ago for graduation. But it was tolerable. If she wanted to enjoy her booze, she could have ordered cocktails or liqueur, but those did not seem right for a sort of depressed drunkenness. And that was what tonight was all about, drowning the sorrows until the point that you get stupid and happy for a few minutes – she needed to drink something with a bite to remind her she shouldn’t make a habit of doing this.
As her neighbor and colleague had finished her bottle, it looked like Hypatia was going to get her wish, though not quite in exactly the way she wanted. Sure, it looked like there would be a fight, but she didn’t want to see Hild molested by some drunk. It was uncomfortable, having to sit there and watch it go on, but what else was she going to do – she could just try to ignore it and drink or down her glass and leave, either of which were what she really wanted to do. As things started to escalate a bit, Hypatia did find out that her colleague was a lesbian, something that the bland pleasantries of their previous, brief conversations had not revealed. But it was not as though this all of a sudden want to replace the drunkard and start feeling Hild up; sure, she was attractive, but, it was not as though Hypatia was desperate to find another lesbian – they were on a college campus after all.
The other special thing that Hypatia got to find out, along with the entire bar, was what Hild’s breasts looked like, which caused a bit of a blush on the art professor’s face – seeing topless girls always did that. She just averted her eyes and went back to her second glass of the evening, taking in a bit more and savoring the taste in her mouth as the man’s head hit the bar. The asshole was a stubborn one, though, as he began hitting on her, something that Hypatia tried to ignore, taking another drink and staring down at the bar and the brown liquid in her glass. And luckily, she could ignore it, since Rune, one of her students and apparently the bouncer (either that or a vigilante), took care of the man and tossed him out. She thanked Rune, though perhaps too quietly for him to hear amidst the still throbbing bass of the music.
But also, all of a sudden, Hypatia wanted to leave, or at least part of her did. That little escapade had sort of ruined the evening for her, in that it gave her another reason to want to drink, but also made her not want to stay in this place. Though when Hild moved over and offered to buy her drinks, she was just about to order her third, she figured that she might as well stay, to be polite. After all, it was rather nice of Hild to be picking up her tab, God knows that Hypatia probably couldn’t afford it. She supposed that the only thing that could make her leave at this point was if Hild got as handsy as that man had been, which certainly was not out of the question – Hypatia knew more than a few lesbians who were just as bad as any man – especially given how much her colleague had been drinking.
While Hild downed her first glass of scotch, Hypatia replied to her, “Thanks Hild. And you’re right, I will need more to drink if I stay here, but I sort of don’t want to stay here. I was never too fond of this place, and now I remember why.” And then the woman was on her second glass already, Hypatia had barely started her third. Nothing seemed to slow her down. And despite the speed of her drinking, Hypatia got the feeling that she would be drunk long before her colleague would, especially since she could already start to feel a bit of lightheadedness. It all of a sudden dawned on her, but she hoped she did not end up going home with Hild, just because it might make things awkward in the hallways and meetings and whatnot; though since she knew that she was going to keep drinking, she also knew that it was not really up to her, but up to chance.

Hild took the new glass of scotch and downed it just as fast as the first one, deciding to take a break for a few minutes since people were staring. She then heard Hypatia's reply to her statement and shrugged. "Well, it's not usually like this, unfortunately some people start early on drinking and than come here for more and the view". she replied, turning around to look at the dance floor. IT certainly didn't help that of all the people here at the moment, they were the um.. better endowed.
"Besides, it'd be nice to see a familiar face other than Rune's here, besides, any dumb asses that try to pull things like that that show up will be good for anger management". she added, rolling her eyes at the thought. "Bad enough I get stuck having to rely on school housing, but I live on my own for years and NOW they decide that there gonna shove someone in to the other bedroom. And it'll probably be some damn stiff kill joy". she said, feeling the frustration boiling up inside her. The memories that had been stirred up further by that man's actions didn't help.
She tilted her head backwards as she said "Hey bartender, can I please get a vodka martini, shaken, and very very dirty", deciding to at least have some manners. She figured a drink to suck on might calm her down, and at least she couldn't just down one of these like a kamikaze. She hated that it took so much to get drunk to a point of not caring. Then again, she also wished she could get drunk enough to act like that guy and not care that she was grabbing someones chest and got punched in the face. Though, that wasn't really Hild's style, least not normally. She only did that on the rare occasions she had a girlfriend and only playfully. She stopped when she was told to.
She crossed her legs and leaned back on the bar, putting her hand back as she saw the bartender out of the corner of her eye and took the glass and sipped it first before thanking him. IT was hard to find someone who understood the concept of making it very very dirty. "So what brings you here anyway if your not fond of it?" she asked, since Hypadia had never struck her as the type to come out drinking.

God, she was still going strong – insanely strong. In the time that Hild downed her drink, Hypatia had taken one sip out of hers. Apparently, they went about things in the opposite way. But it looked like both of their approaches were having the same result, at least judging by the coherence of what Hild was saying. When the view was brought up, Hypatia had to admit, “I’m pretty sure that I’m guilty of coming here for the view, at least sometimes. Not tonight though… or a view wasn’t what I came for.” She took another sip while Hild seemed to survey the dance floor. Was she here for the view? Did she have a good one?
She went on talking, yeah, it was nice to see people you know, even if it was sort of vague and all, though she was not really eager to get into a fight. She took another drink, again, a modest one. It wasn’t something she looked forward to, and wasn’t something she was ever even worried about or hopeful for until she came to this town. The cocktail lounges and spa/bars back home weren’t like this or the dive down the street.
But then, Hild said something that really caught Hypatia’s attention. So, she was being set up by the school too? And was getting a new roommate that she didn’t know? That sounded oddly familiar, to be coy about it. It could just be a coincidence: the school could just be full of poor professors that can’t afford the expensive housing that surrounds the university. Yeah, that could be it. Hypatia had started looking over at Hild, going from her wonderful view of the bar to staring at her neighbor. She sounded really upset about this whole “roommate situation,” and so Hypatia would have to tip-toe around the issue if she wanted to talk about it, which, for the moment, she sort of did. Especially since that was the topic that was sort of left dangling in the air while she ordered a martini and started getting really comfortable.
Hypatia was about to ask her something back about her roommate, but, before she could, Hild asked why she was there. Damn, it would be up to her to take the topic back to something her colleague was obviously not too happy about. But nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Though, it would be rude to not even offer up an answer. She took another drink, gathering up her courage, the glass now dangerously low. “Eh, it’s better than the other bar here. And it seems like I’m less of an alcoholic if I’m drinking around other people, even if I’m still drinking alone. Though, I guess that’s not really a problem with you here.” Should she ask why Hild was here? It would be polite, right? Yeah, but it would also be a really boring question. “So, why the hell are you getting a roommate? I thought you were a professor, not a college student.” She took the last drink of her glass. Damn, that came out snarkier than she intended – that meant she should slow down, maybe order a glass of water. She asked the bartender for another scotch. Hey, it’s free.

Hild listened as she said about it being better than the other bar, and how she was less of a alcoholic when she was drinking around other people, and how she wasn't drinking alone if she was here. "That's true, as for me, I'm not a alcoholic, I"m a drunk, alcoholics got to go to those damn meetings". she said with a playful smile, "it doesn't matter who I'm around. I have some messed up shit in my past I want to forget and there are only two ways that usually happens, and alcohol is usually more accessible than hot lesbian women that are less girly than me". She added as she took another sip of the martini. Hild wasn't super girly like most of the girls she had tried to have a relationship with, but she wasn't cut out for being the more dominant one in a relationship. Not to mention most of them had gone over all that "Woe is me my life is horrible" BS constantly cause mommy and daddy got divorced when they were 12 or they didn't get the nice new sports car when they were 16. She'd have loved to tell any one of them the full details of what happened when she was 16 so they would shut the hell up and stop whining. Sure if she didn't crawl in a bottle or started beating the hell out of a punching bag, yes, once in a while she got all depressed and girly about it but that was once or twice a year at most, not every other friggin day.
She than heard the other professor with that snarky tone as she asked why she was getting a roommate. "Because the school pays for my apartment which was SUPPOSED to be a temporary situation, but because things have been drawn out and all and I've been in it a few years, they decided to fill the extra bedroom". she said, the grip on her glass tightening a bit. She was more annoyed that she was unable to use her money to just buy her own house. It was supposed to be done that she had access to ALL of her money and inheritance, but no, there were all these damn rules so as her handler said "She didn't paint a big bulls eye one her head that said "I'm here, please try to shoot me again" and send off a flair to help" Her opinion was get her a house, so she could have a gun, and a permit to damn well carry it, but no, they had to do it the damn complex way. Than again, for all she knew the had given up and fallen for the whole she was dead story. Her name was different save for her first name, how were they gonna find her just because she bought a damn house.
"I mean if I got someone like you as a roommate that'd be fine, you don't seem like the kind to be an absolute killjoy and I like the fact your not like everyone else, but with my luck in life their gonna saddle me with some stiff ass pain who won't let me drink, play video games, or practice my martial arts without bitching every 5 minutes that I don't totally behave like a normal woman, and would most likely have an issue with my sexuality just like when I was in collage" she added, sucking the rest of the martini down without thinking. She looked at the glass and realized that wasn't good. Her blood pressure and anger was definitely up if she could actually suck one of these down. "Bartender, I need another that's even dirtier" she said, putting the glass down. Thining of hat prissy little bitch did drive her a little mad, especially where it had been two years of hell before she moved to another room... and the year they were going to graduate the girl tried getting in bed with Hild cause somewhere in there she realised she was a lesbian.. after giving Hild shit for two years for being one. Her luck really ahd to change for the better at some point, taking away everything that happened before she was 17, she had a lot of bad luck. Not to mention that she felt after getting shot in the back with some sort of mini uzi or something in a drive-by should have automatically meant you had amazing luck the rest of your life. Than again, maybe she used it all up since she had actually survived that. "And a kamikaze shot" Hild added, absentmindedly rubbing her back where some of the scars were from the incident. It had been roughly 12 years, and since unlike Rune she didn't do anything to make such injuries worse, there wasn't a terrible amount to notice it but she still never wore opened back clothing for a reason.

Maybe she shouldn’t have brought up the whole roommate issue. Hypatia thought that she wasn’t happy about the situation, but… damn, this girl really seemed pissed off with it. On the plus side, it seemed like they would get along, at least a little bit – drinking was fine to her as long as it didn’t turn into a “who can destroy their liver fastest” contest nightly, video games was fine especially if it was old school or indie shit, and martial arts, eh, it wasn’t like she had any valuable that could get broken. Oh, and the whole lesbian thing wasn’t really a problem for Hypatia. Though, to be honest with herself, she’d rather have a gay guy as a roommate – no chance that they would get drunk and have sex to make everything awkward and a very small chance that he would be homophobic – but this was good too. Of course, Hypatia was just assuming that she was roommates with Hild, and she knew that there was also a chance that they might not be, though it seemed that that would be even odder than two grown women who were both professors needing their employer to pay for their housing and find them a roommate.
“You think that you’d be alright with someone like me as a roommate?” Hypatia asked, turning her to face her drinking partner for the night, with a bit of a smile on her face. It was meant to be sort of coy and slick, but ended up being somewhere halfway between that a sort of goofy one. She went on, “Because really, for all you know, I might be the biggest homophobic, video game and martial arts hating professor that ever lived. But what’s it that people always say,” she turned back to the bar and threw back a big gulp of scotch, it was too much and made her wince, she was beyond hope at this point – not drunk yet, but tipsy enough that she wouldn’t want to stop – “homophobes are just afraid of being gay themselves? I guess I would have good reason to be afraid if that was true.” She thought she was being clever, but it sort of came out confused and garbled, which was another sign that the morning would come accompanied by a terrible headache and the inability to hold down food.
She finished the glass of scotch, which was accompanied by scrunched up, wincing face and followed by a cough. It was time to move on to a different drink, but she was torn between something flowery and frilly, which could always be fun, or just something sweeter but classy. Hypatia ended up just telling the bartender, “Another, and make it a double,” with a bit of a flourish in the hand. This was the point when her friends would force her to calm down for about twenty minutes before picking up booze again, but none of them were here.
She took another drink, a more modest one, and decided to add a little bit more to her description of herself as a potential roommate. “Besides, you don’t want me as a roommate. You’d just end up staring at me all day. And we wouldn’t want that, would we?” She laughed a bit at herself, finding it amusing. She took another sip, “Plus, I’d just embarrass you in smash bros. and then you’d cry and throw out whatever system you have. Really, I wouldn’t want to put you through all that hardship.” Was she making any sense at this point? It didn’t matter, because by this point, she was leaning backwards, daring gravity to pull her down from the stool, stretching her arms up, as though she had just woken up. And in a way she had – this was the entrance of what was known as “Fun Hypatia,” as opposed to the sort of dour normal one. It wouldn’t be very long before it got worse (for her) and more entertaining (for whomever she was with).

Hild looked over as she said about how for all she knew she'd be the biggest homophobic roommate that hated martial arts and video games, a grin crossing Hild's face. She could tell the girl was starting to go over her limit, but Hild wasn't quite there yet and still sober enough to think. "Well, I know the homophobic part isn't true". she said playfully as she stood up, putting her hands on the girls legs so neither fell over as she leaned in and added "You'd have moved away a while ago if you were", bringing her lips just short of touching the other woman's. She could feel the disappointed stares though as she went back to sitting in her seat grinning. drunk or not Hild like to have fun. Hell, the homophobic bitch of a roommate she had she once pinned up against a wall and made like she was going to force her her to kiss her. She loved messing with people in general.
Though, the grin turned into a smirk as she heard her say about her staring at her all day and all, which after she downed the kamikaze she was starting to get loosened up herself. "Well, that would yet to vbe seen, and I'm not the kind who destroy's a perfectly good game system and game and all just cause I lose, sorry to disappoint you." hild replied, leaning in as she said somewhat more quietly "and I don't think it's me staring at you your worried about, I think your more worried of staring at me and getting distracted". her tone teasing as she watched the woman start getting tipsier. True, she would definitely spend plenty of time looking at the girl, but she wouldn't be that bad, not unless they were dating and well, there'd be something else on her mind too.
Though, at the rate this was going, it seemed best to choose a place somewhat less public. Hild couldn't quite tell yet just what kind of drunk this woman was, but she had a feeling both of them drunk in a place like this could be... interesting... by which she meant wholly embarrassing with all the student's that were around. She thought for a minute and took a sip of her martini as she went over the stock she had in her fridge. She figured it best to leave while she was somewhat sober and get the girl out of here before she got too out of control. "Well, why don't we get out of here since I'm not fond of drinking with an audience and your getting pretty sloshed," she said with a smile and standing up, leaning against the bar, "We can continue the fun and drinking at my place". pointing out at the crowd were several guys were glancing over as if waiting to see the pair making out on the bar or something... or another glimpse of cleavage at the very least, "Unless you want to stay with the hounds longer ad wait till there restless". she added.

The girl took the bait, well, sort of. Hypatia had meant to be a flirt when talking about how she was a homophobe and all that other nonsense, but she thought that her new neighbor would respond by being coy back, not by starting to feel up her leg. She looked down at the hand on her jeans, wishing she had worn a skirt, but her face was pulled back up to Hild’s when the woman pulled close. Hypatia closed her eyes, softly, feeling the woman’s breath on her lips and waiting for what she thought was about to come, but which ended up being nothing more than a tease. And that was why the girl and only sort of taken the bait, since in the process, Hypatia realized that she was just as much on the hook at she had hoped she could get this other girl. Her hand went down onto Hild’s, the one that was on her leg, and just lay on top of it, for now.
Her response to the other bit was tempting too – she was turning everything back on her expertly. Or at least it seemed like she was an expert to Hypatia, who wasn’t really coherent enough to know any better. “How do you know you’re my type? Maybe I’d rather stare at butch girls all day long?” Hypatia whispered back a little too loudly, while simultaneously pulling Hild’s hand up her leg – just up to the thigh, not so far that it would be indecent in public. “Though, I guess I’m just too easy to read, eh?” The smile that had before had tried to be coy was now just sort of wide, she was having fun flirting, or doing a little bit more than flirting with the person who was probably her roommate for the next year, even though just a few minutes she remembered no wanting to accidentally end up sleeping with whoever she’d be living with.
But then, it sort of changed for her. Hild was right, with the way things were progressing now, they probably should get out of here, lest they start groping each other in public. She bit her bottom lip and looked down at the bar. One part of her really wanted to go with her, to just bounce out of the club, get drunk at her place, and go at it like animals. But she was not so drunk that she was going to give into that side yet. And at the same time, her drinking partner was right, she was getting wasted, and quickly, just like always – if she didn’t calm it down soon, she would end up looking like a complete idiot in public. “I’m sorry,” she said, looking back at Hild, with a straight face, though her balance was not perfect at the moment so that her head was swaying a bit. This time, she managed to keep her voice a little quieter, “But nah. I mean, maybe later, tonight, but not yet. You know?” She wanted to take another drink, both because that’s what you do next and that would get her to the point where she would be willing to leave quicker, but she just waited for a response, with her hand still holding Hild’s hand against her upper thigh.

Hild had noticed the girl being coy and all, and wasn't surprised to have the other girl's hand on top of hers. She was however not expecting her to pull the hand up to her thigh and say about staring at butch types. She had actually been playing about all the stuff early, like her staring since she had no idea what the girl's sexuality was. But now that she knew she was going to have oh so much more fun, not to mention while she wasn't about to full out take advantage of a drunk Hypatia while she herself was still sober-ish, the key thing was still sober-ish. She at least wanted to get drunk enough to not feel like she was taking advantage of her, but definitely stay sober enough to actually enjoy it fully.
She than watched as the girls head swayed side to side a bit as she replied no, she didn't want to go.. at least not yet. IT seemed they both had one another hooked, so she figured waiting a little longer for privacy so they could have a bit more fun wasn't a problem. She could deal with the fun she could have in public for now, they have a bit more later with some more booze, and then who knew, maybe she'd get laid for the first time in a few months. Either way Hild was going to have as much fun with this girl as she'd let her have.
She smiled as she replied "That's fine, I'll just stick around till your ready to leave than, I wouldn't want to leave you here in this state with these people". She than let her hand on Hypatia's thigh move just a little higher but still keeping it decent as she put the other hand on the girls mid section and let it move up as she leaned in so it was just below her breast, letting her lips touch hers in a light kiss. She didn't want to flat out make out with her in front of all these people under the circumstances. More because they already seemed anxious for a show.
She looked at the bar and hoped up to sit on it, since there was nothing in the spot she wanted to sit, not to concerned about crossing her legs over even with the fairly short skirt on. Though, it only lasted about a minute before Rune's voiced said her name loud enough to be heard over all the noise and with a tone of warning. "Killjoy" she shouted as she hopped down, several guys chiming in with yeah before shutting up, more from glares or slaps from the girls they were with.
She pulled her bar stool over next to Hypatia's, sliding her hand back onto the other woman's thigh with a grin, letting her hand move back and forth a little bit. She leaned over and turned her head so she could see Hypatia's face and smiled and said coyly "You know, you can touch more than my hand". She hoped the girl would take the hint she could place her hand on her own leg and all as well. Hild liked how Hypatia happened to be dressed a bit more like a guy, though she was too well endowed to be confused for one, but still it did mean she was far better covered. Where as since Hild was dressed far more like a girl, was wearing a skirt, she hoped the idea would be tempting since that meant Hypatia would actually be able to touch her skin and all. Though, the idea almost made her wish she had worn a longer skirt.

Hild was being a real gentlewoman, wasn’t she? Well, not really, but that’s what Hypatia thought when took her “no” so well. Strictly speak, it was inappropriate to move your hand as high as possible on a lady’s leg or have you hand rest under a lady’s breast like that or kiss her in a crowded bar with people watching, but Hypatia loved it. She couldn’t remember the last time she had gotten picked up by a woman at a bar or the last time she had picked up a woman at a bar – it felt like this was more the former, like Hild was being a bit more aggressive with her, but she had definitely played a part in it too. Hypatia felt like she was twenty again, when she would go to a dyke bar with her girlfriend to get picked up by older women – it was wrong and fun then, it brought back those memories to have Hild doing all this right at the bar.
When her neighbor hopped up on the bar, Hypatia got excited – it would be easy to put her hands in all sorts of fun places while it would be hard for other people to see. But it seemed like she barely had a chance to react before she was hopping off again, unsure whether the girl really hopped up and down that fast or if the alcohol had slowed her reaction time to the point where it just seemed fast. And as the alcohol in her system started having more and more of an effect, she did not need to take another sip to feel more open and free with herself. Which was nice, since at this point, there was something else she was more interested in than booze.
Well, maybe there was more that she could touch than Hild’s hand, but she didn’t want to lean over to her to start sliding her hand inside of her rather low cut top. She also knew that sliding a hand in there would probably result in the same thing that happened earlier, that is she would be exposed to the public. And the other problem was that she feared that leaning over that far would result in her losing her balance to the point where she would end up on the floor. But always a quick thinker, Hypatia had a solution that could work out very well, “Well, if you wanna sit somewhere else, how ‘bout you come over here to my lap? That way no one’ll see where my hands are goin’.” She had a big grin on her face as she said this, knowing that she wasn’t being very ladylike anymore, especially since she knew what she had planned for once Hild moved over. She started trailing her fingers over Hild’s hand, trying to be sort of sensuous with it to get the white haired girl more excited about jumping over, but she was pushing down a bit too hard, so that it was more like she was rubbing or massaging the girl’s hand than teasing. There was a downside, however, to have her neighbor come over, and it was something that Hypatia had not really thought about – namely that Hild joining her would mess with her balance enough so that they both would end up on the floor of the bar. But, hey, that wasn’t a certainty, just a risk.
Now she knew what it felt like on the other side, to be a bit more the aggressor than just the prey. Sure, when she had had girlfriends they would switch being aggressive and passive based on their mood, but whenever she had done something bold like this, she had always been the one being hit on, the one being picked up. She could remember sitting on women’s laps when she still felt a girl and remembered what they had done to her and how much fun it was – and now she would get to do it to someone else. Hypatia had never really wanted to play that role, she never felt comfortable enough with herself to do it, but it was fun, and she could see why there were so many other women ready and willing to do it. Though, it was still sort of unclear who would really end up being the predator and who the prey tonight – Hypatia sort of had the feeling that even though she was being encouraged to take a lead role, somehow she was still falling into Hild’s trap.

Hild was slightly puzzled when the girl said about sitting in her lap. She had never been told to sit in another girls lap or had one sit in hers. But either way, Hild's rather odd game seemed to be working. She had a tendency depending on what she wanted to play the opposite part to become the other. In this particular case, she was playing the predator so she'd become the prey, and so far it had worked marvelously. She wanted a break from that role, she wanted to be the prey for a change of pace, even if she still had to play the predator to get it to work that way.
Though, she was curious as to just what this girl had in mind that she was saying that it would hide where she was putting her hands. Hild was starting to wonder if she had woken up some kind of perverted monster, but pushed the thought aside, chances were she'd enjoy that more than if she hadn't. She then felt the other girls fingers trailing over her own, starting off soft but probably because she was loosing control a bit to her drinks getting harder so it was more like rubbing. She debated just how safe that idea of sitting in her lap was, but decided it was worth the chance. Besides, worst case scenario was they were told to leave the club before they hurt someone with their fooling around and all, which meant they could head to someone's place and really be able to have fun, most likely Hild's since there was no way the other woman was driving.
She slowly moved her hands away from the other woman's and moved back in front of her, gently pulling her and the stool closer to the bar. She than put her hands on Hypatia's shoulders and stepped on the stools horizontal bars that helped keep them from breaking or anything to get up and planted herself in the girls lap, her legs on either side of the girl, and her skirt ending up hiked fairly high because of it. Now she was really wishing she had a slightly longer skirt on, her panties and all may have been covered and all, but in such a public place it was kind of an uncomfortable situation for her.
She got herself fully situated in her lap, letting her arms relax a bit with her hands still on the girl's shoulders. "Like this?" she asked, not playing or acting but legitimately unsure as to what Hypatia had meant. Had she meant to be facing her, or had she meant she should sit in her lap facing the bar. Truthfully, she had only been in a lesbian bar once to pick up a friend from work, where she had initially been born and all didn't have them. They weren't too keen on anything other than straight. Rune actually had to pay the hospital bills of a kid he put there from her own grade when the boy turned around and blamed what happened to Hild and her family on the fact she herself was a lesbian and also because her mother was openly bi-sexual. Though, him getting put in the hospital was actually more when he said some rather derogatory things and said he hoped she was dead when she got shot later on. Or had Rune put the same moron in the hospital twice? either way the rest of the towns thinking wasn't too different, but not all of them were as extreme on it as him and his family. The one good thing of Herself and Rune relocating here. Sure Rune was straight and all, but he had one hell of a temper when it came to family, as in insult them or something and he'd just tear off after you and make sure you knew he wasn't happy. Now that she thought of it he was a rather vindictive boy when it came to such things, though, that was probably a good thing. Though, back to the present, this was different than any other time she had picked up a girl or been picked up. Usually it was just some playful banter, it wasn't usually this physical, not that she was going to complain at this point.

That wasn’t what she meant. She had wanted Hild’s back to her front, so that she could reach around and rub her stomach (and maybe have her hands drift up or down) and so that she could nibble her neck and earlobe. Now her plans were completely ruined. But luckily, Hypatia had to admit that this view was much better, and even gave her better access to the fun parts. It was just a question of where to go first at this point. There were so many places, it was like she did not have enough hands. She giggled a little bit, over eager and getting drunker as the alcohol soaked in. Hild sure was right, she had unleashed a bit of a monster here. Sure, it was not as though this was the first time that Hypatia was staring at a girl lustfully or flirting with one, it wasn’t even as though she had never made the first move or been the one that egged the other on. It was just that in those cases, she was playing Hild’s role, the one that tricked the other to make the first move. Of course, in all those instance, she was also sober enough to be clever and sneaky.
“Well, that wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, but I think I like your way of doing it more,” Hypatia answered, while her eyes drifted down from her collar to her navel, then back up to the collar, resting a bit when at the bottom. She wished that the cut in the shirt went just a bit deeper, all the way to the waist, but then she would be sitting here wishing it went a little bit deeper, so she should just be happy that she got to see as much of that dark, beautiful skin as she did. Hypatia leaned forward, planting a kiss on Hild’s collar bone, wishing that she could kiss her mouth, but with Hild sitting up on her lap, she could not reach her lips. Meanwhile, her left hand went to the hemline of Hild’s skirt, which had been hiked up as she had to spread her legs so wide, and started rubbing up and down slowly. Her right went into the “V” of Hild’s shirt’s neckline, though for now, she was just keeping it around her stomach.
Maybe she should have agreed to go home with her. After all, if she knew what she was doing, Hypatia would have been mortified – acting like this in public. She should be ashamed of herself and if she remembered doing all this in the morning, and there was a good chance she would, she would just want to die. Especially if any of her students were here. But that was a problem for tomorrow, right now she did not care. She had not looked around to see who was staring at them and she did not care that being so blatant about their… whatever they were doing, that they might be thrown out at any moment.
She laughed a bit and looked down, to the hand that was on Hild’s leg, “I bet this was the sort of thing you had in mind when you tried to get me to go home with you, eh? Looks like I turned out to be the one that wanted it more… and the one who’s more of an exhibitionist.” Hypatia did not know where to go from here. If her hands did any more than they were doing right now, that would be too much and might drive her newfound friend away. But she was still a little wary about wanting to leave with Hild – she did not know why this was different? Maybe she felt safer in the bar, with all the eyes on her there was no real risk. In the past, she never really ended up going home alone with a girl, unless she knew her well. And even though she was not scared of Hild and definitely wanted to spend more time with her, she still sort of felt uncomfortable going home with her. It was weird, something that was hard to explain. But at the same time, she felt like she was open enough to suggest that she might just follow her home if asked – she just couldn’t take that leap on her own. Instead of saying anything else, she just leaned forward and started biting gently on her neck.

"it isn't?" Hild said before the she felt the girl kiss her collarbone. If the girl had wanted she could have changed her position if she really wanted. Though, this still felt really weird to be doing, especially because she was able to see the dance floor and caught glimpses of students other than Rune. She could always say she was wasted, which wasn't anything new but still. Being like this in such a public place wasn't something she'd be comfortable with if she was straight out plastered and couldn't even stand.
She than felt the hand snake into the v of the shirt and the other go to the hem of the skirt, though as it started to move up and down in that area, it really wasn't that far from somewhere else, not to mention in general Hild had always been sensitive to touch and well... in general was sensitive. She had leaned forward a bit which hid from Hypatia she wasn't totally comfortable at the moment, but not from Rune who she noticed coming over. She moved a hand off Hypatia's shoulder and gave him a wave to tell him she'd handle it, since the boy had a tendency to be overprotective.
She than heard Hypatia's comment about this being what she had in mind hen she had asked about going to her place, and how Hypatia had clearly wanted it more and was more of an exhibitionist. She than bit her lip and sucked in a sharp breath from her nose as she felt the girl gently biting her neck. It was rather obvious she was trying to hide the sound she wanted to make that would indicate she was enjoying it, but she was still starting to blush. And she wanted to resolve this in a way that worked good and didn't involve Rune.
"y..yes it is" she admitted to what she had said about ideas for when they had gotten to her house, pulling back again so Hypatia could see her face and the tint to her cheeks. She moved her own hands to Hypatia's to stop them so she she herself would calm down and get a little less excited. "c..can we please go somewhere more private for this.. it doesn't even have to be my house even just my car, just not in this place in front of students and my brother". she struggled to say, having never felt like this, though she was surprised what came out of her mouth next. "Please I'll do anything you want when we get there can we please just go someplace private". Never in her life had she never offered to do anything someone wanted and relegated herself to seeming like a desperate slut for something. She enjoyed what the girl was doing, part of the problem was she enjoyed it too much. She looked at Hypatia, her eyes pleading for her to agree to a more private place and for her to continue what she was doing, preferably in a private setting.
