A quaint little place downtown with an old and classy feel to it. Still a new and upcoming business in Radiant Gardens though it's quickly becoming popular amongst the university students. Decorated with vintage furniture and objects, run by a friendly staff. It's a great place to hang out with your friends and enjoy some food.
That friendly staff that was mentioned, well, two of them are heading to work as we speak. Their first day of work, actually.
Kaito sat in the black limousine that would take them to work everyday. It was like every other limousine. Long, shiny. It had a driver who would open the door for them once it stopped at it's destination. And it would be there to pick the twins up once their work was complete.
How did they even end up with a limousine in the first place? It's not like their parents usually gave them anything. They were lucky to get a little spending cash once a month or so. And by a little, I mean a little. Not the hundreds or thousands of Munny some rich kids get from their parents.
That would be the reason for the two of them getting a job.
Relaxing himself against the seat, he crossed his arms behind his head and looked out of the window. It was a nice day, sunny with a few clouds here and there. Better for swimming or playing some other sport than working inside. But he needed the money, how else would he get that guitar he wanted?
"Hey look Kota-nii, we're almost there." The café was only a block away now, they'd be there seconds after the light they were waiting at turned green. Their first work day.

[atrb=style, background: url(http://i55.tinypic.com/11jrgx5.jpg), bTable][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,375px,true] WE WALK TOGETHER ONE AS ONE, A NEW EXISTENCE HAS BEGUN; I FOLLOW YOU, YOU FOLLOW ME THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE TO SEE | [atrb=style, padding: 0px 25px] Hiro was pissed to say the least... Not only did he had to get up earlier then usual, he had to get to work for some random dude while others were enjoying the perfect day that it was. He wasn't spoiled, far from it, though he would be lying if he said he wasn't angry at the fact that this was all because his parents refused to send them a decent amount of money. Hell he didn't ask for loads of money so he could take a bath in it; just a little something fulfill their needs and have a little on the side to buy a little something for them. But their parents declined their request every time Hiro even mentioned it, suggesting that if they wanted money they would have to work for it. Needless to say that the amount of times he pictured in his, somewhat childish, mind his parents bathing in money and making fun of the twins, was over and beyond what most would expect.
The now grumpy twin was on the other seat, laid down on his side and with his eyes closed, his expression telling his brother that he was less than pleased with all of this. Maybe instead of paying for a limo and a personal driver, their parents could've been kinder and gave them a raise on their allowance? They could easily walk from the University to the Timeless River Café without any fuss, but nooooooo... Their parents had to spend the money they could give them on something as useless as that. They would probably look like spoiled rich kids when they crawled out of that luxury and get glared at or something. Hiro himself disliked being looked at that way, so he liked to keep things on the down low, so obviously a giant limo wasn't something he was looking forward to and he thought his brother thought so too.
When Kaito addressed him, Hiro turned to face the seat, letting an aggravated grumble escape his lips which formed the words he wanted to say to his brother, "Pfff... Like I care Ichi... You look like you're enjoying this... I'm not.". He pouted slightly, like a child who's whims weren't fulfilled, so resorts to making a scene to make his aggravation known. Though when he thought about what he had said to him, he sighed heavily and sat correctly on the limo's seat, frowning slightly at his brother as he said, "Sorry Ichi-kun... I'm just grumpy for getting up early. Better make the most of it I guess." |
[/color], he sighed again and shrugged, this time smiling to his brother before continuing, "Who knows, maybe this'll be fun after all."[/color]. He seriously hoped it would be. Last thing he wanted was having a boring job he didn't want in the first place. [/div] [/td] [/tr][tr] [td] TAGS :: Ichi-kun. WORDS :: A few <.< NOTES :: Time to earn some cash! [atrb=style, background: url(http://i55.tinypic.com/11jrgx5.jpg), bTable][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,375px,true] WE WALK TOGETHER ONE AS ONE, A NEW EXISTENCE HAS BEGUN; I FOLLOW YOU, YOU FOLLOW ME THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE TO SEE | [atrb=style, padding: 0px 25px] It really was a waist to spend so much money on a limousine and all the gas it used. All that money could have gone to better things. Maybe a personal car that they could drive themselves. Or they could have just given a forth of the money spent on this luxury car to the twins to split. That would have been enough for the guitar, the drum set, and probably a small car or something too. Not that they'd actually use the money for a car. They'd put it to better use than that. Like stocking their mini-fridge and buying supplies and clothes and stocking the fridge again.
Why couldn't they just walk to work like everyone else around this place?
There wasn't anything he could do about it though. The limousine had been waiting for them outside of the school and they had basically been ordered into the vehicle. "I'm here to take you to work now get in before I call your father," had been what the chauffeur had said. Okay, maybe he didn't say exactly that but it was close. It still had something to do with contacting their parents and stuff like that. Not that he or his brother truly cared if the man called their mother or father.
He could imagine what people were going to say. "What are they doing here, they couldn't possibly need the money?" Yeah, that sounded like something the people would say alright. Coming to work in a big fancy limousine. What had their parents been thinking? He'd rather have walked than show up in this stupid contraption. It was too bad the driver would never agree to just dropping them off a few blocks away from the café. That would have been better than this.
Kaito turned to face his brother. He felt just as aggravated as his twin, really. But keeping an optimistic view on things tending to make life a little more tolerable. It probably helped that he didn't mind waking up early, unlike Hiro. He rolled his eyes at his older twin. Sometimes it was hard to tell which one of them was the younger brother.
"We'll get to meet a lot of people while we're working." A grin slipped onto his face. "I'm sure you'll see a bunch of pretty girls too, Kota-nii. Won't that make up for how early work starts? At least a little bit?"
They had stopped outside of the café they were going to be working at, the driver of the limousine coming around and pulling open the door. "Looks like we're here..."

His brother knew him like the palm of his hand, if not even more, so only he would be able to persuade him out of his grumpy mood. Any other person saying that to him would receive a glare and maybe a "And I care about that because?..." from Hiro, but not his brother. Hiro slided across the seat and sat next to his brother, bumping into him on purpose and replying to him, trying his best to maintain the deadpan expression, "Oi, oi! When you say it like that it sounds like you're calling me a pervert Ichi...", he looked at his brother for a bit and cracked a smile and a laugh before continuing, "I hope so! It'll be worth waking up early!", he grinned like an idiot before looking out the window, only to notice they were half a block away from there.
When they stopped, the driver proceeded to exit the limo, circled around it to get to the door and opened it for the twins. Hiro that was the closest to the door, couldn't help but give the driver a glare, not wanting to get out because of the scene they were being forced to endure. Unwillingly, Hiro finally stepped out of the limo, his eyes never stopped glaring the guy as he crawled out of the lap of luxury and onto the working world.
He crossed his arms behind his head, topaz colored eyes scanning the area, the people looking at them, intrigued as to why some rich man's son would come down to that café instead of just ordering the maids to bring whatever they wanted back in their mansion. This seriously pissed Hiro off, though he tried his best to hide his aggravation as he waited for his brother to get out of the limo. "Lets go Ichi. By the way, we get out of work a few minutes after seven. Be sure you're here waiting for us...", he addressed his brother then the driver, which nodded and went on his way. When the driver turned around the corner, Hiro snickered as he looked at his brother, "Idiot, we get off at six! Anyways, ready Ichi-kun?" |
[/b], he smiled at his brother, just before taking a deep breath and opening the door that would lead them to their work. The boy scanned the café from the door, slightly pleased with the look they had given that place. It somewhat had a classy feel to it, being decorated with vintage furniture and objects, like some old movie Hiro had seen a while back. Turning to his brother, a slight pleased look was on his face as he said, "Well, at least it ain't a dump and there's a few cute girls here.", he then nodded towards the two girls having tea as they red a book each. [atrb=style, background: url(http://i55.tinypic.com/11jrgx5.jpg), bTable][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,375px,true] WE WALK TOGETHER ONE AS ONE, A NEW EXISTENCE HAS BEGUN; I FOLLOW YOU, YOU FOLLOW ME THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE TO SEE | [atrb=style, padding: 0px 25px] Kaito knew he had hit the bullseye of the bullseye with what he had said. He did, after all, know his brother a well as he knew himself. That's what happened when you were twins. Even more so when you grow up relying on each other more than anyone else. It helped that they were so much alike in certain aspects too. They were basically the same person even now that they were out in the world. Or, as out in the world as they could get right now. The university campus was the only place they really got to explore so far but they were sure to explore the world around it sooner or later.
A chuckle slipped past his lips as his brother bumped him, mentioning what his words insinuated before finally cracking and letting out a laugh. As alike as they were, there were differences between the two. Most people would know that though.
"Well you can't deny that you are on." He watched his brother glare at the chauffeur before reluctantly climbing from the limousine. He could blame his twin. He didn't like this either. But there really wasn't anything they could do about it.
Kaito could see a few people standing around outside as he scooted closer to the now open door. They all eyes Hiro, intrigued for the moment. The real trouble wouldn't start until these people found out the reason for them being there. If he could, he would have just sat there in the limousine and waited to be taken back to the university. But that wasn't an option. He had a job to do. There was money to be made.
Those people probably thought it was just Hiro too. They probably thought he was the only son of some rich person. And they'd be half right, which they'd soon find out.
When he got out of the luxury vehicle to stand next to his twin brother, more than just a few pairs of eyes widened. He was something they hadn't been expecting. And now he and his brother were even more interesting to them. Too bad for all of the bystanders, they'd never figure the two of them out. No one ever could. Not so far.
After his brothers' comment, the driver closed the behind him and headed back to the drivers' seat. When the driver, and the limousine, rounded the corner, he and his brother both snickered and he smiled back at his brother.
Taking a deep breath of his own, he followed his brother through the door to the café. "You know he probably has our schedule right?" He scanned the room they had walked into. It was a nice place. Classy. He could picture himself and his brother just hanging out and have snacks and coffee or something. To bad that's not why they were there. They were there to work.
At least his brother seemed pleased with the place. And with the customers that were already inside.
Kaito rolled his eyes but smiled all the same. He had expected that reaction. "See, this won't be so bad." He studied the other people in the café, topaz eyes finally resting on a man and a woman that both appeared to be managers of the place. "Guess we should go talk to those two, huh Kota-nii?"
Both managers were pretty average, standing near the registers and talking quietly to one another. He took a step, followed by another, and another, making his way over to them. | TAGS :: Kota-nii WORDS :: 600 NOTES :: Money Time! >.< LYRICS :: DOPPELGANGER :: DIE KRUPPS

[atrb=style, background: url(http://i55.tinypic.com/11jrgx5.jpg), bTable][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,375px,true] WE WALK TOGETHER ONE AS ONE, A NEW EXISTENCE HAS BEGUN; I FOLLOW YOU, YOU FOLLOW ME THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE TO SEE | [atrb=style, padding: 0px 25px] A devious and impish smile appeared on his face as his twin said the driver had their schedule, waggling his finger and snickering, Hiro finally replied to his brother, "You think I don't know that Ichi-kun? He'll be here at six, thinking he's too smart for us. While he's gloating to himself about it, we'll just sneek through the back of the Café and walk our way back to the University.", the boy snickered even more as he pictured the arrogant driver thinking he had outsmarted them, only to get outsmarted himself with such an easy trick. He'd probably take an hour or so to decide to get his butt out of the limo and go inside the Café to ask for them. He had stricken Hiro as the numbskull type, so he was sure he'd do that.
He then looked at Kaito, eyes filled with fake tears and with a sorrowful expression as he replied to his comment, "Won't be so bad?... We're the cashiers Ichi! No girl talks to the cashier as much as they do with the waiters! I wanna be a waiter!", though when his brother mentioned the managers, he stopped playing around, his eyes searching for them, eventually landing on a couple that were standing beside the registers. "Yeah, we should. But the old man doesn't seem too pleased to see us...", Hiro remarked to his brother as he looked back at the man, obviously replying him with the same look, just before sighing slightly and walking with his brother. Side by side, their shoulders together and their movements completely synced, the two made their way to where the managers stood.
"Ohayou gozaimasu. We're the two you employed to work here as the cashiers. We won't disappoint you!", Hiro said as he bowed his head slightly and he was sure his brother would say it with him and do the same thing, synchronizing with him perfectly and completely. A few people were amazed at the numerous times they pulled that off, saying the exact same thing at the exact same time, but to them, it was as easier and as common as breathing. Why? Because they knew each other almost as better as they knew himself.
The lady replied with a smile, complimenting and finding it amusing how they greeted them; the man, however, wouldn't stop glaring at them slightly, his gaze starting to aggravate the less mature twin. The woman coughed slightly as she looked at the man, making him break the glare to look at her and making him snap back to reality. He greeted them in an informal manner and proceeded to leave towards the kitchen of the café. The slightly aggravated Hiro looked at his twin, only then to sigh and smile at the lady, introducing himself, "My name is Hiro Matsumoto, I will work my hardest." |
[/b], his brother then proceeded to introduce himself as well, the woman then smiled and nodded, excusing herself for a minute and saying she was going to get their working outfits. "Oi Ichi... That guys was a jerk... Did we give him a reason to glare at us like that?...", he asked his brother, looking at him and leaning against the counter as he waited for his brother's reply and the woman so they could get started already, his eyes also finding their way to the two girls he noticed before every now and then. [atrb=style, background: url(http://i55.tinypic.com/11jrgx5.jpg), bTable][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,375px,true] WE WALK TOGETHER ONE AS ONE, A NEW EXISTENCE HAS BEGUN; I FOLLOW YOU, YOU FOLLOW ME THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE TO SEE | [atrb=style, padding: 0px 25px] It truly did come as naturally to him as breathing. More often than not, he found himself thinking and/or saying the exact same thing as his twin brother. It was actually harder for him to say something different or to not speak in unison with his twin. Unless, of course, they were doing the whole 'finishing each others sentence' thing. That always came as naturally as breathing as well. A lot of people didn't understand just how close the twins were. They weren't like normal twins, they were much closer. They were, essentially, the same person living within two different bodies. It was like their mind was connected so that they thought the same thoughts.
"Ohayou gozaimasu. We're the two you employed to work here as the cashiers. We won't disappoint you!" He spoke and bowed his head, in perfect synchronization with his older brother. He really wasn't sure why people were always so amazed by it. It was such a common thing. Sure, the people at the cafe had never seen them do it before but really, they were identical in every other way. Why not in speech and movement as well? Surly they weren't the only twins in the world that did that. Right?
And so what if they were. He was fine with that and he was sure his brother was too.
Kaito looked at the male manager with a look of annoyance and aggravation, no doubt brought on by his brothers feeling towards the man. The informality of the mans greeting didn't bother him in the slightest but the way he was treating the twins grated on the younger auburn headed boys' nerves. 'What's his problem?' Without really thinking about it, he introduced himself as soon as his brother finished up. "And my name is Kaito Matsumoto, I'll work my hardest as well." Their introductions earned a smile and a nod from the female manager before she excused herself in order to retrieve their uniforms.
He leaned against the counter next to his brother, assuming a mirrored version of his brother's pose. "No, I don't think we did anything. That guy's just a jerk," he muttered, scanning the cafe and the few people that were there. "Maybe he's just jealous that we're so handsome and he's just ordinary?" His tone was light an airy, he had only been kidding around really. Though, considering how ordinary the man had been it wasn't too far-fetched that he'd be jealous or something. Still, it was just a thought. He wasn't quite sure that that's what earned them such a glare.
The female manager came back a few minutes after leaving, two uniforms in her hands. Well, they weren't exactly uniforms. They were just white polos with orange stripes on the sleeves and along the collar. Along with orange and white striped ties and dark brown aprons. What was with the orange? It was like these uniforms were designed with the twins in mind or something. Then again, they probably did pick the best color scheme for the employee. Because the one waiter he had spotted had blue stripes that suited him much better than orange would have.
The lady manager held the clothes out for them to take and Kaito moved forward to take one set, his brother no doubt doing the same. Once they had their new work clothes, the woman motioned towards the back where an 'Employees Only' restroom was located. "You can get changed in there. When you're done, I'll show you two what you'll be doing." She gave them another warm smile before moving to a register to take care of a customer.
Kaito moved towards the designated changing area, speaking in a low voice so as not to be overheard by the managers, "At least the clothes are nice."
Once inside of the restroom, he wasted no time taking off his upper layers and pulling the polo over his head. He pulled the apron on next and then put the tie around his next, though he didn't bother tying it. No, instead, he would tie his brother's tie and his brother would tie his. It was part of the whole twin thing. Besides, it was easier to tie someone elses tie than to tie your own. And since they were together, why should they waste the little bit of extra time it would have taken to tie their own ties themselves?
Once the ties were tied, Kaito turned to look at himself in the mirror. He tucked the tie between his shirt and his apron, as it should be, and made sure everything was nice and straight.

It seemed exploring got you many places. Texia hadn't honestly expected to end up at a cafe, she was leaning more towards some sort of park where she could have peace and quiet to do her origami. She sighed. On the bright side, at least this place seemed better than that awful dance club she had entered the night earlier. The noise and lights and people were just too much for her to handle. She was out of there as fast as she could. Realizing she'd been standing outside the door dumbly for a few minutes, Texia finally entered. For first impressions, the cafe wasn't that bad. A few people were sitting at tables with coffee, and the atmosphere was calm and relatively quiet. She felt much better here than at the dance club. Initial appearance check over, she made her way straight to the cashier. He was an orange haired boy, and looked ready to take her order. On the other hand, her eyes seemed to catch another orange haired boy in the shop, wearing the employee uniform. Were there two of them? To hide her confusion, Texia looked at the menu over the cashier's head, even though her mind and eyes must have been glancing between the identical employees every few seconds. Concluding to just ignore the two workers and order, she settled on simply a bottle of water.
"I'll have a bottle of water please."

[atrb=style, background: url(http://i55.tinypic.com/11jrgx5.jpg), bTable][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,375px,true] WE WALK TOGETHER ONE AS ONE, A NEW EXISTENCE HAS BEGUN; I FOLLOW YOU, YOU FOLLOW ME THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE TO SEE | [atrb=style, padding: 0px 25px] Once they were both dressed and ready to go, they walked, side by side, back out to the manager. She showed them, quickly, how to work the registers and told them, briefly, what all they would need to do. The both of them caught on rather quickly and before they really knew it they were standing there alone. Well, as alone as they could get since they were still there together.
Kaito took one register while Hiro took the other. As they waited for customers, they studied the menu and got acquainted with the keys on the machine they'd be using. It was all pretty simple stuff, really, and neither of them would have a problem with it.
If anything, the only problem there might be is Hiro not wanting to work. To older twin didn't like to get up early, for one, and he didn't really like work, for another. Not only that, but he'd prefer flirting with the girls that came in over taking their order.
Kaito, on the other hand, didn't really mind getting up early and didn't much mind work. He also wasn't as girl crazy as his twin brother. Actually, people would assume one of two things when it came to Kaito. 1) That he was homosexual or 2) That he is truly just didn't care (or that he's asexual, whatever). Either way, they be wrong, but that wasn't really the point here.
The point was, Kaito didn't mind working. And it was a good thing too, otherwise neither of them would get anything done. The only reason Hiro was standing at his register and taking the order of some teenage guy was because Kaito was there. Hiro put up with the work and the early rising because he knew that, if he didn't, he'd have to listen to his brother.
Not only that, but he also needed the money that the job payed.
Kaito grinned when a girl stepped up to his register and looked at the menu. Well, she wasn't only looking at the menu, she was also glancing between himself and his brother, but she still kept looking at the menu over his head. Once she told him what she wanted, he punched it in on the keypad and smiled at her.
"That'll be $1.69," he told her as he turned to pull the bottle from the fridge behind him. He went ahead and placed the bottle on the counter as he waited for the girl to hand over the money. When she did go to give the cash to him, he'd hold out one hand to take it while the other hand began to tap and the register so that the machine opened up.

NOT GONNA GET US Starting from here, let's make a promise you and me, let's just be honest we're gonna run, nothing can stop us even the night that falls all around us
words: 460 - tagged: Kaito&Hiro (< totally twincest >.>) - notes: < Just had to add that. A whole bunch of "wtf" texia randomness with a bit of sense. And yellow is her talking, white is others talking, icy blue is her thinking.
As the cashier entered some things into the register, Texia found her attention drawn to the other cashier... who looked exactly like the one who was currently in front of her. She didn't notice that she was basically staring, and may be considered rude, or perhaps just plain odd in the orange haired boy's eyes. Her thoughts were wrapped around the fact that two people, in the same place, looked identical. For a moment, she wondered how that was possible. Then, the light bulb went off in her head.
"Oh!" she exclaimed, her face brightening with realization. "They must be twins!"Before she could say another word, however, the cashier came back with her water.
"That'll be $1.69", he said as he placed the bottle on the counter. Fishing through her bag, she produced a five dollar bill and handed it to the cashier. Taking hold of her water, as the boy in front of her calculated her change, she turned towards the other one.
"Excuse me, but you two," she said, indicating to both of the presumed twins,"Wouldn't happen to be twins, would you? If you aren't well, I don't mean to be rude or anything! Because even if you look the same, it's possible you're not related... Although I can only guess you are. If you aren't, though, again, I don't mind! I was just wondering so please don't be offended of anything like that! But it would be really weird if there were two unrelated people looking exactly the same..." Her thoughts were all jumbled up. She would have assumed they were related, twins definitely, but there was a chance they weren't. maybe she would seem intruding if they weren't and she questioned. If that was the case, she didn't want to look rude in other people's eyes! However, on the other hand, it was highly unlikely they weren't related. But not entirely impossible, at the same time.
Realizing she was just kind of standing there and not saying anything, she slightly jumped in embarrassment.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to trail off like that! I hope I'm not being rude, um, questioning your relationship with um, him," she said, pointing at the orange haired boy in front of her. Texia picked up her water, but she wasn't even close to leaving, obviously. She took a small sip of it, and placed it back on the counter. She took a look at the menu again, and suddenly decided to order something else. Maybe, as a sort of 'sorry' gift, or compensation for taking up more time than one should at a register. Or, at least in her mind, that is.
"Oh, uh, you know what, I'd like some chocolate chip cookies too, if you wouldn't mind."

The KeyFont Styles Talking :: Thinking :: Normal Text Text Colors Hiro :: Both :: Kaito Voices Hiro :: Both :: Kaito (I'll get links of them just talking eventually... >_>) Needless to say, the girls sudden 'oh' startled the ginger a little bit. Not enough to make him jump or anything like that, but it startled him all the same. The only real signs of this were that his eyes had widened for a brief moment and his heartbeat had quickened. Not that anyone but him knew about that second part. And his heart rate had slowed back to normal pretty quickly once he realized what had happened.
After taking the five dollar bill from the blonde girl, he typed that into the register as well. He could have calculated the change all on his own but he had to type it all into the computer whether he knew the correct amount to give back or not.
It was as he was gathering the girls change that she began to ramble on about himself and his brother. He paused in his work to look up at her, tilting his head as if to question her sanity. After all, what were the chances that two identical teenagers lived in the same general area? Let alone worked at the same Cafe? Well, whatever, maybe she just wanted to be one-hundred percent accurate rather than make assumptions. After all -wait, how did that saying go again? Oh yeah - when you assume you make an ass out of you and me. Or something like that at least.
Before he could reply to her, though, his brother sauntered over next to him and draped an arm over his shoulder. Like they tended to do in situations similar to these, they answered the girl in complete unison, "Of course we're twins, what else would we be?" The words sounded more aggressive than either twin meant for them to. It was because of the somewhat bored expressions on their faces and the similarly bored tone that slipped into the words. They did keep smiles on their faces, though, of course.
Once the girl finished apologizing for questioning their relationship, the twins looked at one another with the same somewhat-bored-but-still-smiling expression. Then they shrugged and said, in unison once again, "It's no biggie."
Kaito then proceeded to gather up the blondes change. As he finished collecting it all, the girl added to her order. He punched in the addition of chocolate chip cookies only to pause and look at the girl again, sending her another smile before asking, "How many cookies would you like? They're 89 cent a piece but you can get five for three dollars." A pretty good deal since, it you were to buy five cookies at their normal price, you'd be paying four dollars and 45 cent. Plus, the cookies were really big. Most people would probably on get two, possibly three.
The twins figured that the girl could eat one now and take the rest home or something, if she went with the five. Or maybe she'd just get herself a single cookie. TAGS :: Texia. WORDS :: 500
GIA :: xD I like that you added that there! HIRO :: <_< You would... KAITO :: Of course she would... >_>

NOT GONNA GET US Starting from here, let's make a promise you and me, let's just be honest we're gonna run, nothing can stop us even the night that falls all around us
words: 474 - tagged: Kaito/Hiro - notes: Texia, I'm trying to find the shortest application to an asylum. I don't like filling out forms.... Good thing your case is easy.
To her surprise, the other ginger haired cashier came over to the one in front of her, and they started to talk in sync. Her mouth making an "O", she pointed at both of them... again.
"How do you guys do that! There wasn't any communication or anything! You just... talked! Are you two psychic with each other!?" Pausing for a moment, she realized they'd confirmed their status as twins. "Oh, and it's good to know you both are twins. I wasn't sure whether you were or not, since there was a really small chance you weren't, but it wasn't impossible or anything." Her thoughts then snapped back to their talking. Psychic... If they were psychic, could they hear her thoughts!? Oh no, that means they were hearing her now! Starting to freak out, Texia put her hands on her head, in an almost protective manner.
"You guys aren't psychic and can read minds, right? Because if you are, oh no, you can read my thoughts! I'd rather you not, please! My thoughts are mine, so don't look at them!" Her face turned a bit angry, and she looked mildly protective, of her thoughts, that is. If she was in the presence of mind reading twins, she was in lots of trouble. Did they know what everyone in this cafe was thinking?! Were there any sort of limitations? Did they inform the government of their ability? They must plot telepathically and that's how they can confuse people with their speech. Hm, they can talk at the same time, but do they talk seperately, yet together? That seemed cool!
"Hey! If you guys read each other's minds, do you finish each other's sentences?!" She gasped, "Do you finish each others' syllables!?" These twins went from scary, to amazing! Completely forgetting about her order for cookies, Texia's thoughts started to go off on their own path.
Psychic twins! That was cool! They probably kept it a secret, so they weren't such big stars or anything, and used it to play tricks on people, or talk without talking to each other. The whole concept of the ability amazed her, and she would have loved to inquire more on it. She'd read up on a few theories about it, in her text books and such, and it was highly intriguing. Maybe she'd get to talk to them more after their shift was done. Or, the little voice of reason in her head said, they're not psychic and just do it automatically as if on instinct. However, this little voice escaped Texia's attention. Like always.
