Brief Overview:

slender and fair. that's a good way to describe adelaide. she stands at 168 centimeters ( about 5'6" ), her 58 kilograms ( about 129 pounds ) is made up of mostly lean mustle.

she has light brown hair, verging on silvery-blonde, that often looks blue or dark brown as well. it falls to about mid-back, silky and layered to frame her face, it's straight unless she does something to it. it's most often left down, though she does pull it back now and then. for more formal events, she'll put it in a braded bun or something nice like that unless she wants to wear it down. she has blue eyes, sometime appearing a little bit violet, that darken when she's angry or upset and lighten when she's happy.

her nose is small and celestial shaped while her mouth is a bit thin and tends to be set into a small, thoughtful, frown. her ears are also small, rounded and pierced in four places. there are two holes in each earlobe as well as two along the side of each ear. her skin is really fair, slightly pale though not unhealthily so. she doesn't wear makeup very often, and when she does it's only lip gloss and maybe a touch of blush. she has a rather athletic build, lean and slender with hints of muscle tone.

a silver chain hangs around her neck, holding three silver keys instead of any pendants. one key goes to her parents' house, one goes to her truck, and one goes to her dorm room door. born right-handed, she's ambidextrous and prefers writing and such with her left hand, keeping her silver watch on her right wrist. she also wears thin silver chains, matching the necklace; two on her left wrist and two on her right ankle. she doesn't have a very large array of earrings, only ever wearing small hoops and small cuffs, always in silver.

she doesn't have an tattoos or other body peircings, though she has thought about the former on occasion. she's just never had any real reason to go and get a tattoo and little to no inspiration on what, exactly, to get.

her usual attire tends to consist of one of three uniform-type outfits, though kingdom university has no uniform itself. the first two outfits are just general uniform-style outfits. the fisrt of those two consists of a blue turtleneck, blue skirt, and a pale yellow sailor-styled jacket with thigh-highs and dark brown shoes. the other consists of a white and blue sailor-style shirt, blue skirt, and blue sailor-styled jacket with white knee-high socks and dark brown shoes.

the third uniform-style outfit, the one she wears most often of the three, is from her high school years on destiny islands. the summer version consists of a white dress shirt, tan or pale yellow vest, blue plaid skirt/pants and tie, and a blue suit jacket with blue thigh-high or knee-high socks and dark brown shoes or boots. the winter version consists of a white long-sleeved dress shirt, tan or pale yellow sweater, blue plaid skirt/pants and tie, and a blue suit jacket with blue thigh-high or knee-high socks and dark brown shoes or boots.

she also has a few plaid jackets that she'll often wear during the summer, rather than the jackets to her uniform-styled clothing. these jackets have large hoods and white wool lining. she has them in dark blue, black, grey, pale yellow, and brown.

her more informal school and daily attire tends to be more comfortable looking clothes. tee shirts, shorts that fall just past her knees, pants. she wears sports clothing a lot too, being on the tennis and soccer teams. the uniforms are both silver and blue and are actually exactly the same, though for diferent occasions. the soccer home game uniform is the tennis away uniform and vise-versa. one (the soccer home game uniform) has a silver shirt/jacket and silver shorts/pants, both with blue stripes along the outer sides and the school emblem on the left breast. the other (the tennis home match uniform) has blue shorts/pants with silver stripes along the outer side and a silver shirt/jacket with blue stripes along the outer side and the school emblem on the left breast.

sometimes she can be found wearing beanies, as well as headphones or earbuds. her messenger bag holds her electronics, money, and various other items she likes to keep on her. there are also occasions were she'll dress up in kimonos or, on rarer occasions, dresses.

Overview:

there are two sides to adelaide. there's her usual stoic and reserved side, then there's her soft and sweet side. the latter just isn't seen much because it doesn't really show until she's gotten to know someone really well.

courageous and determined, it could be said that she doesn't fear anything. the truth is, though, that she just wants people to think that of her. she's honest and finds it difficult to tell a good and convincing lie. realistic, she doesn't usually think outside the box and tends to go with the simplest method of achieving whatever goal she happens to have. she's intelligent and observant and she usually stays alert no matter where she is. quick, calm, and resilient, she doesn't give in.

she likes quite places and enjoys reading things like science fiction novels and just about any manga she can get her hands on. she absolutely loves anime and video games and rock music is something she listens to quite often while she does other tasks. she's a sucker for sweets, especially chocolate, and her favorite colors are orange and black. spaghetti is her favorite food of all time and she prefers it with extra sauce. she has a strange attraction to canines because of their soft fur and she secretly adores plushies (which she has quite a few of).

some of her darker traits include being rebellious. she doesn't like taking orders and she doesn't like others looking down on her. distant and guarded, she tends to keep quite and is suspicious of the people around her. she's very stubborn and doesn't always let go of her ideas and feelings. she can be a bit impatient with things. she is a bit clumsy at times, a little naive about some things, and is prone to slight moodiness from time to time.

she dislikes homework even though she doesn't mind school and is rather smart. she thinks rap music is stupid and pointless and she's not a fan of bitter foods. she usually avoids crowded areas and she really doesn't like vegetables, though she still eats them anyway. not being taken seriously just because of her age really gets on her nerves.

on another note: she's pretty laid-back a lot of the time and her stoic face tends to give the impression that she's grumpy but that usually isn't the case at all.

as rare as it is to witness her softer side, it is still there. she's reluctant to show just how sensitive she is and it's only after gaining her trust that she'll even consider showing her inner colors. deep down, she's sweet and caring with an affectionate and thoughtful nature. her love of plushies, if you were ever lucky enough to find out about that, is proof that this side of her exists which is why she keeps that secret so heavily guarded.

she's also prone to panic attacks, though they're usually only brought on by spiders or large bodies of water. there are some occasions when thunder will set one off. they were much worse back in her high school days but she's got a lot more control over them now. of course, they still happen.

Overview:

adelaide phoenyx rae hails from the small town of traverse. she was born to kay and nessa rae a few seconds before her twin sister, kadence faithe rae. during their childhood, both sisters were normal children, actually fairly well behaved but getting into some sticky situations now and then. she was never quite as curious as her sister, preferring to keep to herself, but she did go out exploring from time to time. she generally does well in school even though her rebellious nature sometimes gets her into trouble.

there is one particular moment in her life that sticks with her even though she'd like to forget it. one night, while she and fai were at home with a babysitter, someone broke into the house. in an attempt to protect the two girls, the babysitter went after the robber but received a nasty blow to the head. the police were called and the robber was caught, the babysitter was okay. but adelaide was still plagued by nightmares.

her twin sister was affected by that even too and they were both left with occasional panic attacks. because of the occasional attacks the twins would have, they were home schooled for a while. they resumed public school in seventh grade and adelaide found her way out onto the soccer fields.

before the start of their freshman year of high school, the family moved to a place known as destiny islands. it was thought that, because of the quiet sort of lifestyle there, the panic attacks would lessen greatly or go away altogether. and, for a while, adelaide's attacks did stop.

the attacks didn't start up again until her junior year and her doctor thought that it must have been all of the stress, at least partially. she learned to cope with the attacks, though, and went about the last two years of high school without too much trouble or too many large-scale attacks. she made really good grades and with her sports added on to that was able to obtain a scholarship that paid for most of the tuition at kingdom university. that, coupled with the money her parents had set back for her's and kadence's schooling, got her into the prestigious university without a problem.

she left destiny islands behind for radiant garden, the place of her parents' heritage. it was there that she attended kingdom university for her freshman year. and now, a year later, she's attending again. now a second year, a sophomore, she's still planning to keep up her grades and stay at soccer and tennis. much like the year before, she's bound to see many new faces but there's sure to be some familiar ones as well.
