Brief Overview:

tall and handsome. that's a good way to describe kaito. he stands at 178 centimeters ( about 5'10" ), his 64 kilograms ( about 141 pounds ) is made up of muscle.

he has auburn hair, looking a bit orange in certain light, that usually looks rather wild and unruly. it falls nearly to his shoulders when it's wet but when it's dry it's spiked up. sometimes, though it's rare, he'll slick it back but it's most often seen looking pretty messy. he has topaz colored eyes, darkening when he's unhappy and brightening when he's happy, that can make him look a little bit like a devil.

his nose is a pretty average size and a bit celestial shaped while his mouth is somewhat thin and normally set into a little smile.his ears are also pretty avereage in size, rounded and poking ever so slightly from his hair. he has a slightly pale complexion, though he tans easily in the sun. he has an athletic sort of build, though a bit lanky.

he doesn't have any tattoos or body peircings, doesn't wear any other jewelry, and doesn't really plan on any of that changing any time soon. he was born left-handed and prefers using that hand, but he is ambidextrous.

his usual attire tends to consist of a uniform-type outfit, though kingdom university has no uniform itself. the outfit consists of a periwinkle blazer, white dress shirt, a black tie with a periwinkle stripe, and black pants with white socks and black shoes/boots.

his more informal school attire tends to consist of loose pants, tanks or tees, and hoodies. one of his favorite outfits is actually loose orange pants, a black tank-top, and a white sleeve-less hoodie with white socks and black converse. he can also been seen wearing the school's sports clothing, namely the soccer uniforms. one (the home game uniform) has a silver shirt/jacket and silver shorts/pants, both with blue stripes along the outer sides and the school emblem on the left breast. the other (the away game uniform) has blue shorts/pants with silver stripes along the outer side and a silver shirt/jacket with blue stripes along the outer side and the school emblem on the left breast.

now and then, for more 'special' occasions, he can be found in nice suits with polished shoes. the shirts and ties he normally wears on these occasions match in color but the shirts always a light shade and the tie is darker.

he carries a dark brown messenger bag with him, storing any items he may need within it. his school things are inside, along with his electronic gadgets (like his phone and ipod), some snakcs, a few sodas, and some pranking supplies.

Overview:

kaito is mischievous and playful. he likes to have fun and enjoys pranking people alongside his twin and he is just as cunning as his other half. their mischievous behavior often gets them into trouble and in many instances he is the voice of reason who ends up saying 'i told you so!'

when he and his brother do get into trouble, he tends to step up and accept partial blame as well as do all he can to lessen their punishment. his brother, on the other hand, tends to just smile like an idiot and let things run it's course.

mischievous and playful, those are the two words that tend to describe him the best. he's honest though, preferring not to tell lies, and realistic, though he does often think outside of the box. he's intelligent and retains information quite well, making school something that he finds somewhat easy. quick, calm, and resilient he is good at sports as well as looking innocent after a prank. his determination keeps him from giving up on things but he does know when enough is enough.

he likes to read manga, watch anime, and listen to music. he's a sucker for sweets, anything soft and cuddly, and his older brother. he likes 'super spicy' food most and hot wings are one of his favorite foods. he's good at drawing and enjoys both music and art class. he firmly believes in the 'you mess with him/them, you mess with me' kind of philosophy. and he'll always stand up for his own, which does get him into trouble sometimes.

despite being as cunning a prankster as his brother, he tends to be the voice of reason. he still goes through with the pranks and he still finds himself in trouble most of the time but in the end he always gets to say 'i told you so!" this response to situations normally receives some sort of snappy comment from his brother, to which he just smiles and acts all nonchalant.

more mature than his brother, despite being younger, he is much calmer. he gets bored easily but he keeps his grades up and pays attention to the teachers as much as possible. he's often manipulated by his brother, talked into helping his older half study for tests and the like. of course, he'd help out even if he wasn't manipulated into doing it.

kind and understanding, on top of his maturity, makes him a little more eye-catching to the ladies but he doesn't care as much about flirting and girls as his brother does. he would do anything for his friends and his brother, right down to jumping off a bridge (if it was to save a life anyway).

currently, his world still consists of only his brother but who knows, maybe someone will come along and break into his heart?

our father was a fashion designer born in radiant garden. he spent much of his time in his office at home, working on sketches and going over papers. our mother managed one of the fashion companies in radiant garden. unlike our father, our mother wasn't home very much. she worked long hours at her business's office. they both worked really hard.

one day, our father was handing in a new set of designs and our mother happened to be there talking to his boss. that's when they talked for the first time. after that, she moved in with him and they got married. it wasn't long after that they decided they wanted children.

and so, we were born. twins. hiro kotaro matsumoto, my older brother, and kaito ichigo matsumoto, me.

we spent all of our time together. we grew up never having to be apart from one another. we grew to be somewhat co-dependent on each other. and we were fine with that.

all through grade school we refused to accept anyone into our 'world' if they couldn't tell the two of us apart. and to be honest, it upset us when someone confused who we were. it all really started because of a maid who worked for us when we were little. we made a deal with her. if she could guess which one of us was [unnamed] and which one of us was kaito, then we'd give her the combination to one of the safe's in our house. and if she couldn't guess right, then we'd activate the alarm. she ended up stealing the combination from our piggy bank and when we woke up and saw her descending from a second floor balcony we asked her why she did it. she yelled up at us that no one would ever be able to tell us apart. she had taken the money. and we never saw her again.

now, we do our best to look identical to see if there's anyone out there who really can tell the difference.

during high school, there were a few people who tried really hard to tell us apart and there were one or two that were either extremely lucky or truly knew which one of us was which. we grew to like those people and we were very protective of them.

we're in college now. we go to kingdom university. we're not as inseparable as we used to be but we still stick together a lot. it's our first year here and we can't wait to pull some pranks and have some fun.

who knows, maybe we'll find some people here who can see the difference between us. and maybe the host club that we came up with will help us with that.

all i know for certain is that, as always, i'll be the voice of reason.
