Brief Overview:
Taz is certainly a…unique individual. He has short ear length hair the color of raven wings, in other words his hair is an almost blue-black color. He has a soft crème complexion that makes him look delicate but what makes it worse is his size. Nowhere near as tall as an eighteen year old should be, Taz is quite petite and almost girlie. He has a slim stature and absolutely no muscles at all. This often has him very discouraged and frustrated. Usually when he is in public he has a black eye-patch over his right eye to hide the different color of it but when at home or dressed down he will have a medical eye patch over it instead.

There is another side to Taz though, a side called Chi-chan. This is what makes Taz so unique because he’s a cross-dresser. While he usually looks quite…well boy-ish. He can do quite a gender-bender to people when he dresses as a girl. He wears a long raven haired wig that usually curls up, and cute Lolita dresses with frills. He also wears heels much of the time and if his bangs don’t hide his right eye. He usually wears a small Lolita hat pushed towards his front to cover his eye with more hair. He actually ends up looking exactly like a girl which confused those who meet him as a guy and those who meet him as a girl.

Overview:
There are two sides of Tasogare. The boy side that everyone knows as Taz and the girl side that everyone knows as Chi. Both sides are loved dearly but neither are the same in personality. They are total opposites when it comes to personality, Taz being like night and Chi…well Chi is like Twilight. Since she is not exactly energetic but she’s also not as solemn as Taz is.

Taz: Years of being bullied for his girlish looks and small stature has made him somewhat shy and quiet. He hides that behind a cold and distant exterior however since he’s extremely insecure about letting people near him. He has a sharp tongue that tends to drive people away and while he pretends to be satisfied with that the truth is he’s unhappy with it. It’s made him feel isolated but he refuses to admit it or even show the slightest inkling of loneliness. The few that do manage to wiggle their way into his closed circle see the true Taz. He’s actually a boy who is insecure, shy but smart and actually quite friendly.

Chi: Chi is Taz’s more confident personality but only when he’s dressed as a girl. Smart, somewhat shy but friendly Chi likes making friends ‘she’ just doesn’t have the complete courage to do it. However, she’s friendly, somewhat energetic, sweet young girl who likes talking to people. Chi was created to help Taz coop with the bullying and his recent fondness for cross-dressing. Chi also usually kicks in if Taz feels threatened in anyway, especially in any kind of bullying. If Taz feels uncomfortable she also takes topside till he feels comfortable. She’s sweet, a bit naïve and sometimes childish.

Overview:
Taz was born to Mizumi and Karasu Kurayami. He’d been a sickly baby and for many months he had to be kept in the hospital and watched over carefully. When they were finally able to take him home Mizumi and Karasu were very protective over their fragile child. They were always watching him carefully as he grew and making sure he never strayed far from them. However, being two very important executives of a technological company neither could always keep an eye on their son and soon enough work took most of the attention to be over protective. The nanny’s and guards began taking up that job when Taz turned eleven years old. It was also when he was eleven that the bullying began for Taz. Because of being exceptionally sick when he was a babe Taz had never really grown as big as he should of and his fragile looks didn’t help any. Kids were cruel and they’d do anything to make themselves feel better so Taz was always the butt of jokes and bullying. It was a scarring encounter with other kids his age and Taz was unable to coop with it himself.

So in turn to coop with the stress and the hurt Chi was made. The other kids had commented on how girly he looked and so one day instead of a boy named Taz coming to school an adorable girl in a pink dress named Chi came. She was Taz’s other personality and she was a little more confident. At first the other boys tried to tease Taz but because of the fact she didn’t seem to care all that much and because of how cute she looked. The boys slowly stopped teasing Chi though the bullying and teasing of Taz continued on. Slowly Taz/Chi’s uniqueness was accepted and almost ignored. There were those few that thought it was abnormal and bothered him about it as he grew but most people got used to it and came to adore Taz for it though his distant exterior pushed most people away.

At first his parents were horrified when they found out their son had MPD as well as the fact he was a cross-dresser. However, the more time they spent with Chi/Taz the more they grew to adore both sides of them. During high school the bullying and teasing got worse because Taz didn’t seem to get any taller and he only seemed to become more feminine. So the secret stress and hurt that he carried only got worse, it hurt that everyone in his community felt he was either abnormal or some ‘poor child’ to be pitied. So during his senior year of high school he sent out as many applications as he could from anywhere far from where he lived. Unknowingly, his parents both paid a generous amount of money to get him into KU and soon enough he got his acceptance letter. He could go to Kingdom University.
