Brief Overview:
Shouta is kind of an interesting kid for his age. He's a bit small for his age, almost matching the size of his sister, just barely taller then her. Honestly he cares not of his size or height, but is found to eat quite healthy foods. Liking to drink tea and such instead of soda or something. Though his height has nothing to do with his strength. Shouta can hold his own in a fight. His body is built for speed and agiliy more then it is for strength, but his intelligence makes up for that. He's not week what-so-ever and could probably trip his opponent up with the element of surprise more then anything.

His eyes are a beautiful gold color. Unlike Sumiko who has monochromatic eyes with the blue and green. His hair is bad enough but if he had to deal with different colored eyes he might shoot himself on the spot. His hair, which again is a bit on the deep end for him to deal with, has, for some reason, grown with three white rings surrounding half his head. Not symmetrical at all. You will never see a mirror in his bedroom or bathroom. Never. and when there is a mirror in the bathroom, like at hotels and places, he won't step in the room at all.

His clothes are NEVER casual. Well... maybe sometimes when he's in an interesting, unnatural, mood, but other then that he is much happier wearing more dressy clothes. You will later find that he views himself pretty highly, almost like a rich kid. He hates wearing anything less because nothing is ever symmetrical enough for him.

Overview:

For the most part Shouta is one of the most mature males you will ever meet in your life. Technically he's had to be after everything that happened when he was still growing up. He thinks, he works, and he gets the job done without having to be told. He's able to make quick decisions, most of them made from logical conclusions, not emotional ones. He views himself highly, but merely to a point. He refuses to underestimate other people and agrees to see them as that. Human beings that are just as important as he is. He is extremely smart when it comes to academics, often using the knowledge to help his sister and others with homework, though he doesn't much care for his intelligence much.

He's too busy paying attention to other things. To counter act the boy's high maturity levels, he has a very BIG imperfection. A very high case of OCD poisons his mind causing him to need everything in ship-shape symmetrical order. That or he goes into a major panic attack that is mostly quite childish. He takes symmetry quite seriously and makes enemies with those who think other wise.

When it comes to family Shouta is pretty distant. He has opted to ignore his parents for the most part for what they almost did. Other then his unconscious sister, Shouta has made himself too busy with school, work, gun practice, and friends to have anytime for the rest of them. While not giving up on his twin, he has given up on his parents. And he shows this openly for everyone to see.

For the most part, you can not make Shouta angry. Unless of course you get into trouble with his sister or tease him about his OCD problem. But he's more of a cool and collected type of guy that would probably just stare at you if you did something stupid. And though he's not a rich kid, he certainly acts like one. THough he will never once ask you for money. He works for his own.

Growing up with the intelligence he has and the love for guns, Shouta has found the perfect career for him. He plans on going into a criminal justice route, becoming some kind of detective or CSI major. Having this goal, he works very hard to improve his intelligence and fighting skills, hoping to one day, catch the eyes of a criminal justice team.

Thats right, one more thing. He is openly protective over his twin sister. He almost lost her once and he promises himself that he will never loose her again.

The first thing you should know about Shouta is his state of mind. His mind is very unstable, even it seems like the most sound mind you could ever come across. However, with his sister in a deep coma, and his major OCD diagnostic becoming more and more of an issue, his mind is very unstable.

The signs of instability are as follows;
cares a bit too much for his about his HUGE pistol collection. He has a major gun collection, mainly two of each gun he buys. He uses each and every one of them. This is the only other addiction he has that doesn't, mostly, have to do with symmetry. He started it sometime after Sumiko's coma. Yes, he indeed has a permit. All of these he paid for himself.

Also, seeming to talk to thin air a lot, Shouta's mind has created a friend to take the empty place of his twin sister. She is an exact replica of his twin. Since, in his mind, Sumiko is his counter part and, subconsciously, he has decided that he can't live without her by his side. This is where his mind is mainly unstable. Where his mature mind knows that she is merely an illusion, his childish side can't tell the difference between the two. She is merely asleep when he sees her in the bed. Without Sumiko, the logic in his mind, in theory, could shatter. A good example is when he found out that they were going to let Sumiko go and he told them he would do anything to make sure they wouldn't.

One last sign. He has been known to shut himself in his room for days on end without food or water. Mainly after a fight with his mother or father. Or there is a negative change in Sumiko's breathing or heart rate.

Shouta is deathly afraid of his twin sister, Sumiko, dying. She is his counter part, his other half, that he has promised not to let go off. Without her he cannot be symmetrical. Not to mention that she is the only person that he will not bother about being symmetrical, or even perfect. In fact, he knew that she would rather chaos then perfection so he makes sure that her room is so chaotic it's embarrassing. Even though the house nurse hates it with a passion. He refused to allow her to clean it up.

One last thing he fears. Lightning. While his sister is deathly afraid of thunder, he hates lightning. The light it produces freaks him out, not to mention it's never symmetrical. It drives him up the wall. In a Thunderstorm you won't get him to open his eyes. Not one bit. Even if he is in a pitch black room with no walls. If he knows there is a Thunderstorm going on, He'll freak.

Overview:
Having grown up the son of high school principles, and the twin brother of a girl who never understood school work, Shouta was expected to be the one to become the Science professor or something. But he found no interest in that. Ever since he was a young child he has always loved to watch those Criminal Justice shows like CSI and detectives at work. They always fascinated him. Though he always kept this a secret from his mother and father, constantly reminding his sister of his future just to scare her away from his genius buildings and toys. She would drive him insane with her coming out of nowhere and teasing him. His great case of OCD just making the situations much worse. Having a twin drove him insane, but once she stopped depending on him, he found himself depending more on her to be around all the time. So once she began sewing and leaving him alone more, he found himself missing her attention. Though when she made him wear the clothes she made him, he would act like he completely hated it. Partly he did. The OCD part of him got driven insane, but the twin part of him loved how she made him clothes that way.

Then there was that fateful day of the flood. When the storm came in. Their sixteenth birthday. Shouta didn't worry about the flooding hazard warning that was sent out. It never flooded when they did. It was just a precaution. He was up in his room when it happened, though, listening to music and making sure everything in his room was in order like he did at this time of day every evening. Then he heard screaming downstairs. When he opened his door, water flowed into it wrecking his entire room. He went into one of his inconvenient panic modes and his mother had to pull him out and bring him to the roof of the house. When they realized that Sumiko was still in the house Shouta went into an even worse panic attack. It was so bad that his mother had to work really hard to hold him down as Isamu went back into the house to go find her. If she hadn't worked so hard to hold him down he would have gone in after her himself and made the situation, once again, worse.

Once she was admitted in the hospital after the flood, Shouta fell into deep depression. Often spending nights in the hospital room where his Twin sister was laying unconscious in a deep coma. His parents would be furious, but they understood. Shouta felt somehow responsible for Sumiko's current position and he wished with all his might that he was the one in the coma and not her. He visited her every Wednesday, hoping for some kind of response from her. After awhile his parents began restricting his time with her and they got him into a shooting extra curricular class to take his mind off her.

He grabbed onto the class pretty quickly and excelled in it only after a few months of being in it. He became one of the best shooters in the class. And without his parent's knowledge, he bought himself two Kahr pistols for himself. He used them when not spending time with Sumiko and became an expert in the gunning ways, even creating his own fighting style. He even started on a collection of pistols of all ages and historical meaning. However he always bought two of the same gun.

After about a year of this going on, his parents began loosing hope and finally came to the conclusion that they should let Sumiko go. The hard part was telling Shouta the horrible news. In fact, they didn't have to tell him at all. He overheard them talking about it. When they found that out, he ran out the door. They had to chase him with their car to catch up to his newly acquired bike. Though they still had little chance with the traffic around them. They came to the hospital at exactly the same time. Tears over washing his perfect face and skin so red hot, Shouta couldn't stop screaming as he grabbed on his father's pant legs all the way to Sumiko's room. Begging that they not let her go so easily. Telling them that he would do absolutely anything to keep her alive. He would even pay for all of the expenses and care for her every need. He even resorted to pulling out his gun and pointing it at everything in sight, including himself.

To keep everything from getting out of control his parents agreed to bring her home and higher a personal nurse to care for her. Heartbroken and angry, Shouta took over the pay for the nurse after a couple of months. He had gotten himself a job and so his parents decided it would be fine for him to take over. He began to ignore his parents and their advice. After three years of this going on, his mind began to play tricks on him. It formed a replacement for Sumiko, the perfect replica, but only Shouta could see her. He would talk to her, hang with her, even tell her secrets. She followed him everywhere he went and part of him didn't even know she wasn't real.

His parents became very worried about their son and so they got him to visit a therapist. This made Shouta very angry, but he allowed it. As long as it got his parents of his back. The therapist explained his theory of it being part of his OCD that created the girl. However, it is unknown if this is actually true and so he was never diagnosed. The Therapist could find no other signs of another type of personality disorder, but he did tell the parents that his mind was very unstable. Now he is attending Kingdom University after finally saving up enough money for it and he's working towards a Criminal Justice Major. He awaits the day, patiently, for when his twin awakens and he can bring her up to speed about everything.
