Brief Overview: Vanitas looks very close to his brother Sora. The main difference between the two is their Hair color and Eye color. While Sora has brown hair Vanitas has black hair and while Sora has blue eyes Vanitas has yellow eyes. If you compare their aura to each other you could even sense something completely one being of pure innocence and one being of not innocent at all. Vanitas has a style that matches his personality often wearing clothes that are dark, but fashionable just to make him seem a bit nicer than he really is.

Overview: Vanitas grew up as a bad child so it was only natural for him to stay that way. He is mischievous in all forms of way. He loves to torture people, but mostly his brother everyone else gets a kind of torture that is somewhat an extreme prank on them. He has a deep hate for his brother as he envies the life that he had even though he known nothing about the bad things that happened in Sora's life. All Vanitas wanted was to live as happy and free as his brother, but no he lived a sheltered life and one full of abuse and agony. He vowed at a very young age that he would do whatever he could to cause as much pain to his brother as he had to undergo.

Putting aside his hate for his brother Vanitas isn’t all that bad of a person sure he can be a little mischievous around everyone else, but that’s just how he is. Most people come to accept that and eventually get used to it. Around his friends he is more of the defender of the group making sure no harm comes to them and if harm should come to them he swears to beat whoever hurt them to a bloody pulp. He cares for his friends in a manner that doesn’t seem like possible maybe it’s because he is a father and he treats his friends just like if they were his children.

Take him away from social areas and Vanitas’s personality really changes around his son he acts like a regular father who cares for his child. He spends time caring and playing with the baby he and his wife gave birth to. Speaking of wife he is also very kind and caring to his wife. Their marriage may have been forged on their individual hates for certain people [Izure and Sora] and their child born under the fact her parents didn’t want her to be lesbian, but they figured out a way to make them both happy and their parents.

Overview: Vanitas was born not a few minutes before his twin brother Sora. For the first year of their lives they looked completely identical and no one could tell the difference between the two, but as their personalities began to form Vanitas’s appearance decided to change too. His hair grew in black replacing the brown strand that used to exist and his eyes seemed to change into a yellow almost catlike color. This made him look like a crazy kid as if he were to be growing up into a maniac and this worried his mother. As his personality formed though that is when she became really scarred. She saw signs of someone who mihgt cause harm to her other son so she quickly hid him from the world keeping everyone unaware of his birth the only ones that knew were her husband and the doctors. Eventually as the boys got older she decided she couldn’t care for two children and gave Vanitas to one of her brother in laws.

His life wasn’t treated any better though as Vanitas grew up abused and tortured as that brother had a drinking problem. He was tortured and he didn’t live a much happy life till he was about ten. His father had come to pick him up and take him to a better home. He was happy to see his father, but not so happy to see where he ended up going. Instead of going back to his old home with his brother his father got a new wife and Vanitas would have to live with this strange and unfamiliar woman. Then again at the time Vanitas didn't know who his real mother was until he was older. He gave the woman a chance though and grew up by her guidance, but she wasn’t the best influence. She grew up with rage and jealousy as a child and ended up feeding Vanitas’s fire for his brother even more. He had learned about his mother and brother though his adopted mother and his father. It seemed like they would talk about them more often then most conversations. His father would talk about how horrible a wife she was (even though she wasn't) and his adopted mother would talk about how that woman was so careless of a mother to give her own son away even if it was to family. This shocked Vanitas as he thought this was his family, but in truth his family was someone else who seemed to never care for him. He never found out who the woman was as his parents never said her name, but he did hear about his brother from them. It was around his twelfth birthday that he vowed to get revenge someday on the crimes his mother had committed and she was going to pay Vanitas with the tears and possibly blood of her son Sora. His hate had been growing for years and even though he knew nothing of Sora's life he assumed it was a better and comforting one then what he had.

When Vanitas entered high school he seemed to attract a lot of attention from the female crowd, but they seemed to annoy him more than excite him. He wasn’t really looking for a relationship he was still concentrating on his desire to torture his brother if he ever saw him. While in high school he meet a girl a little older than him she had the same aura he had of hate for someone who caused them pain and suffering. Vanitas approached the girl and discovered the name of the person was a girl named Izure. Apparently Izure was a classmate of hers and her sweet innocent demure took all the attention leaving her in the dust. Netami was envious of Izure and Vanitas liked her for it so they decided to work together to help them destroy Izure and Sora’s reputation and make them pay. Around when Vanitas was seventeen Netami’s parents kept hunting her down for not bearing them any children and to find a husband so they could have grandchildren. This made her mad as she had a girlfriend and her parents didn’t accept it so Vanitas made a proposition with her. They get married and have a baby together so they can not only get her parents off her back, but have another reason to torture Izure and Sora. So they did get married with the consent of her girlfriend and had a baby boy who they named Konbo. Netami’s parents were pleased and left her alone so the two continued their time in high school with their baby at home being cared for by her parents. Eventually the two found out that both Izure and Sora were going to end up in the same college so they both applied and with a few loans made it into the same school where they could finally take down those who caused them pain.
