Brief Overview:
Ever since he was young Mikoto has been an increasingly violent child, if not a bit unstable. So it’s no surprise that he’s always wearing bandages somewhere on his body, especially around his head and right eye. Infact he never takes off that particular bandage, although no one knows whether he sleeps with it on or not. He has deep, dark plum purple hair that catches everyone’s eye, the right side of his hair (his bangs) usually cover his right eye a bit. He has a bright purple left eye but since no one has ever seen his right eye no one is quite sure what color it is now. It leaves a mysterious air around him but he really doesn’t care about that.
He’s quite tall reaching a good five feet, ten inches when he stands and he’s a pretty good weight for his height although it is a bit under the average weight since he only weighs a hundred and thirty four pounds. He’s got a lean and slightly muscled figure from years of fighting. Although because of his high metabolism he seems not to be able to gain that much muscle, he’s still quite strong…and violent. He shouldn’t be underestimated no matter his looks or how many bandages he has on. There are times when he’s not being violent that Akito looks…fragile and vulnerable. He has various scrapes, bruises, cuts and injuries on his person from fighting nearly everyday so its rare when he doesn’t.

Overview:
Ito-chan….well he’s certainly something. No one on the streets that he hangs out with knows his story to he presents something of a mystery to them. However, one thing that isn’t a mystery is his temperament. He’s exceedingly violent, always striking out at anyone he doesn’t like or makes him irritated. Sometimes they don’t even have to do anything in order for him to strike out at anyone. Sometimes he just does it for the hell of it, he likes fighting…or at least he’s come to like fighting. He’s grown to be a bit twisted thanks to everything that’s happened to him in his life. He has a huge pride so anyone that challenges him or what he stands for better watch out cause he comes to collect. He’s a quick thinker but sometimes that quick thinking leads him to being just a bit impulsive sometimes. He’s exceedingly cunning, knowing how to sweet talk and charm so that he can get himself out of almost any situation.
There is another side to Akito though, the side that works alongside the police he hates so much. A deal between them makes it so that Akito is their informant. Anything Akito hears, they hear so long as they keep their end of the deal. He stays out of trouble, he gets to keep doing what he’s doing so long as he continues being their informant. Akito has no problem with this…or that’s what he makes everyone think. Inside though its tearing him apart with guilt and feelings of hypocrisy although he’s doing it for a good reason. This side of Akito is more quiet and watchful, always taking in information and seeing what is useful and what would do him no good. To him its almost like playing a game sometimes, one wrong move or badly said word and it was all over.
There is a secret side of Akito that no one but those who are extremely close to him know about. It’s a more…gentle side or rather fond side that comes out when he’s around his little brother. While he’s still rough around the edges there is definitely a more gentle air around him. He’ll joke around with his little brother, tease him and mess around with him but he’s always very protective of him. Having almost raised his brother since he was a babe thanks to what happened in their family. He takes care of the kid, making sure he gets to school on time, has a proper breakfast and lunch, makes sure no one is bothering him and making sure he has as much as a normal life as possible. No one save a select few see this side of Akito, mostly his little brother.

Overview:
Akito Mikoto Shibuya was born to Mayura Shibuya when she was seventeen after getting high on drugs and having unprotected intercourse with an unknown male. Life for Akito was anything but easy and having a drug addicted mother didn’t help when you lived in Radiant Garden’s red light district. No one went there and police rarely ever tried to correct anything wrong that happened there. So from a young age Akito had to learn to fend for himself on top of learn how to get money to feed his rather violent but sickly mother’s addiction. Let’s just say the methods he used to acquire the money, he had to grow up quickly and learn to survive. As his mother’s addiction got worse, her violent nature surfaced more often and she abused Akito. Hitting him with whatever was closest, one day she picked up an iron and threw it at him, since then Akito has always worn bandages over his head and eye. When Mayura was twenty-three and Akito was six, Mayura had Shizuya by another man. The day Shizuya was born Akito vowed to keep his little brother safe and protect him from anyone, even their mother. So Akito often took care of Shizuya, especially since he was sickly no thanks to their mother taking drugs while pregnant with him. Shizuya was never let near her and Akito made sure to take the brunt of whatever anger his little brother stirred in her. However, when Akito was ten Mayura overdosed and died at the age of twenty-seven, leaving both boys alone.
Akito knew then that he had to take care of his little brother and ended up joining a gang. Stealing and robbing people to get the money they needed to survive. It wasn’t surprising that their mother’s violent nature rubbed off on Akito and he became extremely twisted. Enjoying getting into fights and hurting people, however whenever his brother or little children where around it calmed the beast in him and he was calmer. It wasn’t til he was sixteen and Shizu was ten that his streak of violence and gang related incidences got him into serious trouble. Another gang had said something about his way of living and then insulted his little brother which set him off. He attacked the other gang member and blacked out, only to come to at a police station charged with attempted murder. One of the police officers that had caught him before had a soft spot for him, knowing his history and that he was only trying to care for his brother. The cop made a deal with him, if he would become a PI then they would drop the charges and he’d get paid for his services on top of that.
For a few moments he was conflicted but at the thought of being able to give Shizu a proper life and a chance at even a semi normal life. Akito took it and became an informant but time after time his guilt grew heavier and heavier. To the point where it didn’t take much to set him off and become violent. For now, Akito tries to keep his temper in check for the sake of his little brother and to keep his gang out of too much trouble.
