Height: 5'4
Weight: 132
Hair Color/Style: Blonde, always down, bangs swept to the side
Face Claim: Rin Kagamine from Vocaloid
Brief Overview: Texia isn't the much to look at. Short for her age, and thin as a rail, it's not hard to mistake her for a child. With pale skin and big blue eyes, a doll isn't a bad comparison. Although almost always seen with a smile and jumping around in one way or another, "a complete kid" would be spot on. Her hair is a straight out blonde hue. Choppy ends roughly extend a bit past her shoulders, and her bangs are often swept off towards the sides of her face, held in place by white barrettes. Red rimmed glasses are almost always worn, along with a white a large white ribbon that rests atop her head on a headband, giving an almost bunny-ear look. For clothes, generally the blonde prefers lighter colors, like pink, mint green, sky blue, yellow (especially yellow) and loose, flowy things.

Likes: Fish, the color yellow, talking, helping people, math, numbers, long equations, celery
Dislikes: Plums, bright lights, bullies/meanies, sharks, being too hot, splinters, being underestimated
Strengths: Math genius, almost always optimistic and cheerful, works hard, supportive
Weaknesses: Incredibly naive, takes everything said literally, short attention span, gullible
Overview: Texia is one of your average, bubbly, optimists. She always believes that the happier sides of things should be looked for, since what god will it do looking at what you can't do? However, she doesn't take this optimism to an extreme level. If a situation was truly hopeless, for example, while she still might try, Texia would probably stay silent and not maintain her usual attitude. However, otherwise, she'll see the glass as half full and stay upbeat and happy, if only due to her extremely childish nature.
Another thing is Texia can most certainly talk your head off and then some. She has a habit of speaking mostly whatever comes to her mind out loud, and going on and on without realizing it. Coupled with her short attention span, you're in for a good few minutes of nonstop rambling along with some frequent topic shifts. It doesn't help that she's incredibly naive and tends to take everything said literally, resulting in lots of talking, and then lots of utter nonsense.
Additionally, Texia knows generally right from wrong, so to speak. She'll be polite to people, assist them when it's needed, not steal, etc. etc. The only problem is she'd blindly help someone because it's "right" and end up perhaps getting involved with the wrong people, or say, seem to take a bully's side just because you're hypothetically supposed to help people.
Lastly, as Texia is incredibly sheltered, she's gullible and easily fooled. If someone says it's true, it has to be true because you're not supposed to lie. Building on her small world experience, Texia is as dense as a rock. For things not straight out blunt, plain and simple, it may either take a bit of explaining for her to understand/realize what's being said, or she'll just misinterpret it. Therefore while she does love to talk a lot and socialize, conversations with this girl might take an awkward or at least unexpected turn at any given moment.
Side note: Texia has a habit of calling people Mr./Miss -full name- when she learns their name unless told otherwise.

Father: Thomas Shigura
Siblings: n/a
Home town: Radiant Garden
Overview: Texia's family is rich, owning a mansion and reaping the benefits of lots and lots of money. Naturally, her childhood was filled with all of the luxuries that the wealthy were privileged in having. She got everything she wanted, for her birthday, Christmas, and whenever she wanted. It was a more fortunate life than most others, however there was a catch. Texia was almost never let out of the house, and most certainly not outside the property.
Private tutors were hired to teach her the core subjects, and several of the miscellaneous ones. Music lessons, art lessons, and all relating were all taught in addition. At first, Texia knew nothing else and simply went along with it, no problems. Having friends her age occurred to her, but for a long time, she only figured books were lying, like her parents always saidd. To raise their daughter to be a perfect lady, refined with manners and not a trace of the outer world's (which was filled with hooligans and crime and filth to her parents) influence was Texia's parents' goal. And for awhile, they were successful. The tutors were all friendly, so much so that loneliness was never a factor of the blonde's life.
But here was where their "perfect" daughter image shattered. As she got older, around fourteen or so, Texia began to wonder about outside. Hearing about all the animals and politics, despite her parents' warnings that it was too dangerous outside, she wanted to see it for herself. As her tutors were the only friends she had, they were her only possible connection. At first, she obviously asked them to sneak her out, like how it was in mystery and spy novels. But that was too risky and too outrageous to even consider. Instead, her curiosity was satisfied with "souvenirs" from outside instead, like pictures of plants and animals and streets and all sorts of places, and sometimes actual objects.
This didn't last forever, though, and soon enough Texia was even more curious. So much so, she decided to sneak out. Sure she kind of...failed every time, but not without at least getting to the giant iron and brick fence surrounding their land and hurting herself trying to climb over it. Unfortunately, this only served to get her banned from even going outside at all without careful supervision. Sneaking out of the house was an even harder feat, and at last, Texia ceased her efforts. Until she was seventeen. Almost an adult, she resorted to non-stop begging to at least go to an actual school, and going so far as to threaten to quit her studies all together. It took awhile, but finally, her parents gave in. She could attend Kingdom university, an at least prestigious and well-known place not too far away. So when she was eighteen, Texia finally got out and saw the world wasn't really as bad as she'd been told, it was much much better! In her second year, she's still enjoying her time at the university and excelling in math, albeit as dense as ever.

"Let's see...as of late, my favorite place on the island would have to be Wellington Park. Seems like I've been going there an awful lot, and had fun every time..."
School had already gotten out, and Quinn was sitting at home, bored. She had homework to do, yeah... Ah but who wanted to do homework on a nice day? She wanted to go out and do something! Go out shopping or take a walk or something other than just sit here (or do homework)! Flopping backwards on her bed, the pinkette had been going over possible activities for the day. Something that wouldn't take too long, since she did have school work to do after all, but something not too boring either.
Wellington Park came to mind first. But...who knew how long she'd stay there. Calling up a friend would definitely guarantee a whole day's worth of time, so that was out of the question. And that left...a solo walk. "Eh...that doesn't sound too bad. A quick stroll along the perimeter maybe and I should have my fill of outdoor activity." Hopping off her bed, Quinn smoothed down her clothes and took a quick look around her room just in case she'd need anything other than what was on her person.
"Doesn't look like it." And with that, she headed out the door.
Easily making her way towards the park, Quinn prepared to walk along the rough outskirts of the park. That is...until she spotted someone by the fountain. Besides the fact he looked like some kind of rufian or gang guy, what interested the teen the most was the small book in his hands. Squinting to try and confirm the cover of the book, "Is that..." Eyes snapping open wide in astonishment, "Oh my god it is! Manga! I'd recognize that kind of cover, the colors and style and everything, anywhere!" Beaming brightly, Quinn wasted no time rushing right over towards him.
"Oh my gosh, Pokemon! I love that manga! Ooo what volume is it?" Trying to peek at the spine, she bounced a bit on her feet all the while. Another manga fan right in the park, what a lucky day this was!
