He stands about 5’8 and is a bit slim. He doesn’t seem to have any muscle on his arms but it’s more of a hidden strength. He has long purple bangs that seem to fall forward and out almost away from his face. His eyes match his hair in color but sometimes seem to have different ‘looks’ to it. One minute it could look mischievous and the next calm and understanding. His body build is a bit lanky. He is a long-legged and long-armed human being. His skin color is a bit on the pale side but yet it’s not paper white but still has some color to it.
You've got a smile that takes me to another planet

Today was a fairytale
Likes: To write short stories/music/ect. He likes to be creative because he thinks it’s healthy for the mind. He doesn’t like the uptight people who don’t like imagination and would spend quite some time to try to convince them wrong.
CANDY! Lots and lots of candy. He likes to eat lots of sugar so that gives him an excuse to act like someone crazy!
Dogs, one of these days, he's hoping to get an Alaskan husky. He thinks that they are very good companions to those of the single men and loves them and their adorable faces.
Imagination. He’s the type of person who’d stare out at the clouds letting his mind wander away until it’s deep in space. He is able to have his feet on the ground and his head in the clouds.
Archery. He loves the entire idea of doing things the old fashion way with a simple bow and arrow. He likes to sometimes make his own arrows by getting some sort of stick and a knife and carve his own.
Dislikes: Most vegetables. He does not like broccoli or carrots or anything like that. He prefers to stick to the corn mostly.
Rude people. Sure he may be rude at times himself but that’s normal for a young adult right? He’d at least say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ and ‘you’re welcome’. If you’re just flat out rude then he’d most likely try to avoid you. And if all else fails he’ll just be nice to you in hopes you’ll adjust.
Guns. They have a way of just scaring him some thinking that the wielder of that gun could just simply take his life away in mere seconds. Just not a thought that he likes.
Little Kids. He doesn’t like those of snot noses and screaming and crying. He doesn’t handle them too well and tries to avoid them at all costs. He finds them rather annoying even though he knew that he was once a kid.
Bullies. As any other person, he hates others who like to think of them in charge and things like that. He’d stand up for others who he saw getting bullied going out of his way to stop it. Usually he feels like punching the bully in the face normally but keeps himself controlled into a calm voice.
Strengths: He’s strong-hearted. Sometimes he may do the wrong things but his heart is in the right place. He always thinks of helping out others before himself.
He has a good sense of memory. This is important in case he wants to write about a certain spot that he likes he’d want to remember every detail (or try to!) He always scans around the room if it’s a new surrounding and he likes to keep on high alert for anything ‘off’.
Weaknesses: He has a bit of a friend weakness. He has a habit of if the friends are in danger to come to their rescue regardless of his own safety. And if that means pulling a 90 MPH on a street then he would.
Wrong sense of right and wrong. What he thinks is right then he'll do it even if it seems wrong to others. He'll do it and then explain it to others later from his point of view to see if he could change their minds.
Personality:
He has a pretty much all around-about kind of personality. In a good mood he'll have on a happy face. He'll be nice and actually listen to what you say. He even seems a bit more perky. If you seem all mad or sad or anything he'll ask if he could do anything to make you feel any better. In a bad mood though he'll keep on a stoic expression, and could honestly care less about anyone else's problems. If he's really ticked off he'll shut up and focus mentally on calming himself down ignoring the outside world. He has a habit of having a short fuse and it takes a while for him to cool down again- usually in his writings. He never really seems like he is one to show your emotions to but he in all honestly will do his best to be careful with another's emotions. Lane has a bit of an attitude problem but he likes to keep it under control. He sometimes seems a bit sarcastic sometimes but he usually means well.

History:
Having been born in a very close-knit community, Lane Coltis grew up with respect drilled in his head. He had a love for writing and it showed when he was only a small boy. Others were a bit fascinated by his stories he'd write as a kid and knew someday he'd get to college using writing to get in. Lane was always the Next Door Neighbor kind of kid. He always tried to be nice to others even if they had a knack for being mean.
As he grew up his stories became longer, more correctly spelt and worded, and had a wider range of things that were wrote about. In his freshmen year of High school, he was always caught in other classes than his writing class writing stories. Usually he'd get his inspiration from the drama around him, seeing how every-day things were twisted about and words shoved into others' mouths. He was quite amused by all of this and soon started writing about them-using different characters of course, to throw them off the trace. When he was in middle school his parents started saving up for college, knowing that he wanted to go to the university. In his senior year, his writing class teacher saw potential in Lane, sending him to a writing contest for a $10,000 scholarship. Lane put his best into that contest and won. Using the money from the scholarship and the money his parents had saved up, he used that for getting into the near-by college.
At that college he was pushed over the edge. He couldn't handle all the stress of the teachers who yelled too much or gave out too much work. His dorm-roommate wasn't much help either hosting so many parties blaring the music so loud Lane couldn't sleep. for these reasons, Lane began to buckle under the pressure, becoming a bit meaner from lack of sleep and so much stress. His parents saw the change in him and then they were finally able to get it out of Lane. They knew that even though Lane was close to home, it wasn't that much of a good school. So, after almost a year, they were able to get Lane to switch to Kingdom University, although it was much farther. They said their goodbyes and even though he started in school late he was determined to catch up in the school's education.

Lane opened up an amethyst colored eye and groaned. What time was it? He never really liked getting up before the sun but here he lay with the sun that wasn’t even peeking out from its slumber. He sighed and looked at the clock. Its red numbers casted a small glow in the dark room and he looked at it. 4:36 AM. “Well..” he said in a quiet groggy tone, “Might as well get up and start the day shall we?” he asked to no one in particular. Shifting so his legs were on the side of the bed and his feet was touching the cold wooden floor he sat up and stretched his arms. Standing up and fixing the bed’s comforters he thought out why he was up right now. “Oh! The meteor shower!” He cried out happily.
Going to his window he unlocked it and pushed its brown window paned door open. Slipping out of it which was a bit difficult for his size and such a small window he slipped out onto the roof. He had the room above the porch with an actual window that was able to be opened and not worry about having it painted over shut. Walking a bit further being careful of his balance he then laid down on the warm black roof top. His pajamas blended in for he had a simple black button up shirt and black pants on. His eyes were filled with wonder as he stared up at the sky, sometimes a shooting star so bright enough that its light reflected in his amethyst eyes. Closing his eyes he made a wish. One of that he would become a well known book writer- his dream. Opening them once more he stared up, his eyes becoming clouded over while his imagination took over. He was thinking of what shooting stars really were and what light actually was.
But can you feel this magic in the air?
