Skell is petite, standing at five feet tall. She’s slender, and said to have a dancer’s physique. She has medium-length, thick, black curly hair, and deep, almost black-brown eyes. She wears a creme, short sleeved and slightly-above-the-knee high dress, but is most commonly found wearing a bold red, knee-high coat over it. She also wears black stockings and boots, which come up to the knee with laces and a slight heel. Skell is known to have a variety of scarves because she gets cold easily, most commonly wearing a red one. Her fingernails are a bold red in color, matching her coat; however, her hands she hardly shows anymore due to black wrist-length gloves.

Likes: Drawing (and the vast majority of arts), learning, socializing, riddles and puzzles, and the occasional witty trick on someone for fun, and the color red.
Dislikes: Deep water, swimming, the inability to resolve an issue eventually, self-centered and arrogant people, lack of integrity, and ignorance.
Strengths: Patience, wit and craftiness, personability
Weaknesses: Sometimes she may think too much, or she cares too much
Personality:
Skell is a usually rational and deductive person, greatly enjoying the thrill of a game, puzzle, riddle. Because of this interest, she is very inquisitive in her actions. Skell also does not mind company, and is in fact welcoming to most, but can fair just fine on her own. To people she trusts, she is very loyal; however, in the face of excelling in her studies, her judgment may become foggy. And just as she gives people the benefit of the doubt, people have noticed her to be wholly respectful and true to her word. Don’t put it past her to not tease or play a harmless prank, though.
Despite her focus being in criminology, in her spare time, she tries her best to submerge herself in the arts. She’s constantly working to perfect her own, unique style, and to improve on her technical skills.

History:
Ever since Skell was a younger girl, she was intrigued by society and the different levels that helped composed it, and the smaller societies within. She took particular interest in the health of society, and dwelled upon the idea of being a doctor, and perhaps even shoot for a joint MD,JD to fight for the good of the people and their health.
Family awfully supportive of her and her academic goals, Skell also doddled with the arts quite a bit growing up. Although her talents did not go unnoticed, they weren’t supported as something she should focus mainly on due to a supposed unrealistic stable future. Sharing the artistic gene in the family with her father, they’d bond every once in a while over a painting, and he’d murmur about keeping it a strong hobby.
After many years of schooling, Skell decided to put a career as a doctor on hold and instead help develop society as best as she can through teaching. Criminology not only is her focus, but the criminal mind is heavily intriguing to her. Because of this interest she can seem to be highly analytical and skeptical of some, even. But her trust is unwavering when it is earned. The friends she makes she fights to keep, and she hopes to form good bonds with the staff at Kingdom University, fingers crossed she gets in…

Hhhrrrrsssshhhhhhh-sshhhh…
Squawking of the seagulls somehow tended to accent the purr of the lazily rolling tide. If he’d been sitting down on the crooked tree as he used to do, Riku might have found himself caught lost in a trance by the song of the Islands. But he was doing anything but sitting at the moment.
He and Sora were caught in a good old swordfight of the past. They picked up their sodden wooden swords back from when they were kids and decided to go at a spar, for old time’s sake. It was a challenge that Sora had proposed, oddly enough, and it made the older one grin with a gleam of interest. Just because he was going around saving all the worlds out there didn’t mean he could beat him at a classic wooden sword fight…
He figured since they had kind of just gotten rid of Xemnas, he could manage to have a little fun with this. After what felt like years of slaving to the darkness, not even being able to control who you were – perhaps physically and mentally – it’d be nice to just revert to good fun.
”All right! And hey, remember, don’t you hold back – use what you got!” and with that characteristic stance of his known to him and his foes with Soul Eater, he bounced on the balls of his feet before taking a sprint forward. Of course he wasn’t heading for a direct attack – that just wasn’t him. Maybe Sora would do something like that, but Riku’d give a fake, a nice spin before he swung at an unguarded side. That year of trying to save the worlds must have done the brunette well, though, because every swing Riku gave was followed by a counter – fumbling or not, there was a counter block.
And then he was hit.
Teeth grit in a hiss when Sora’s wooden sword flanked his side, causing him to reel around out of sheer surprise. Yeah, yeah, Sora’s gotten pretty good. And despite the humbling Riku’s gone through over his own time alone and with The King, he didn’t expect Sora to land the first clear shot. In fact, a part of him had the impulse to deliver a swipe at Sora’s shins as he took the time to crack a joke.
But he didn’t act on that impulse.
He said to use what they had.
Sea foam crystals narrowed with a darkened glint as a palm reached out to the air he was falling in to. A surge of electricity, hot and sharp, spiked from his neck and down to his fingertips, releasing a net of cold vines. They were black, shades of the murkiest of purples and blues, crossing tightly to catch him as he fell through.
”Show me what you’ve learned and find me!”
He had no plan as to where he was going to go. It was almost as though someone spoke for him. The portal on its own spit him out in a place that took a moment to settle in. He was too caught off guard by his own retained ability to summon the darkness for travel, without being conscious of him doing it, to recognize the setting at first. The cold atmosphere, the heavy air, the darkest place with the deadliest temptation he had ever known. The place that revealed a monster – The Secret Place.
A cold chill ran up his spine as distasteful memories flooded back to him, to that night when he opened the door and let the darkness in. When he welcomed the Heartless to his home. When he began to doubt his friendship with Sora –
”Guh, Sora?” he spun on his heel at the sound of something equivalent to a pin drop. Those bright orbs of his somehow reflected every ounce of light, magnified sevenfold, to slice through the density of darkness in the cave, seeking out whatever made him shake.
Just when he thought all this agony over the darkness inside of him was finished with, his naivety punched him in the gut. Yes, he acknowledged that he was stuck in a place of limbo. Yes, he knew that he had to embrace both the light and the dark. But no, he was not okay with those dark tendencies just running wild beyond his conscious control.
No, he was not okay with the potential of being two-faced.
No, he was not okay with this.
He thought it had gotten better.
He thought he retained control.
He thought he knew who he was.
”Who the hell am I…?”
“Found you, you cheater!”
But can you feel this magic in the air?
It must've been the way you kissed me
Fell in love when I saw you standing there
