Riku is the cool and collected type of guy who has a bit of an edge. He’s the type of pretty boy girls usually fall for and guys circle around to get a touch of his popularity. He’s a nineteen year old second year whose birthday is coming around pretty soon and has a pretty interesting personality. He’s actually bisexual although not many people know since he doesn’t go around dating guys all the time if at all as well as he likes to keep most of his life private. He’s an art major and participates in different club activities whenever he can.

Once you get past Riku’s surface personality of cockiness and cool aloofness you’ll find a friendlier guy. Riku is actually a pretty fun guy who likes to do things other teens like to do as well. He especially loves a friendly rivalry every once in a while. He doesn’t mind making friends though he’s not naïve to the fact people will try to use him so he knows they’ll be two types of friends surrounding him. The illusionary ones that just want to use him and get close to him while there will also be the true friends that will always stand by his side.

Riku hasn’t really had that many relationships but he’s familiar with them on both sides of the road. While more attracted to the male population it’s ironic that he’s had more relationships with females. Once in a relationship Riku isn’t the same person he is when he’s not in one. He’s a lot sweeter and less competitive when he’s in a relationship but it’s a side that is rarely seen by others since he’s very private when it comes to his intimate relationships but those lucky enough to call themselves his lovers are always lucky. Of course there are the mess arounds, one night stands, ‘with benefits’ but Riku rarely ever dips his fingers into this bowl of chocolate.

Riku’s surface attitude of cool aloofness often gets on peoples nerves. Add his cockiness and sometimes competitively condescending smirks and of course you’re going to have people that want to strangle Riku. He doesn’t snap very easily but Riku does anger at some points. He has a sharp tongue that has a habit of cutting into people and making them angry at him and his brash impulsiveness only makes things worse.

We've plotted these two before, I know, but I want to iron out some details and do a bit more plottage. Since a years passed and all. And I don't remember most of what we talked about before. xD Not to mention plotting is so much fun. Especially when you're bored and have nothing else to really do during work. >.> I was looking at all the possible relationships listed in Addie's Plotter and decided to list some of them here. That way we can pick through them and then flesh out all the actual ideas. And I want to be able to list Riku's name in her Plotter and have you actually know about them. x3 So here goes~ They're already friends so I figured I'd start there. Of the relationships in that category, Riku could fit just about all of them. I was thinking Close Friends because they've known each other a while, maybe even Best Friends, though Close Friends seems like a stronger bond to me... Anyway~ They could also act as Emotional Support and Confidants/Secret Keepers for each other, since she mellows him out and all that. I'm also thinking that she has a crush on him and doesn't want to say anything. Because they're friends and she doesn't want to mess that up. Even more so since she's not sexually into him (or anyone for that matter). But she'd probably let him do what he wanted, to a certain extent, because she cares about him and all. That'd more depend on where you wanted to take their relationship. And aside from all that, a certain level of Respect and Admiration could be thrown in. And Riku's already Protective of Addie. I'm not sure about a You're My Hero kinda thing, but I definitely see him as her Shoulder To Cry On. And it's sort of a given that they Have Each Other's Backs. Mkay! So I absolutely ADORE these two i'm not sure why but i do lulz. I'm definitely thinking CLOSE FRIENDS because she'd definitely be someone he'd go to if he was hurting or he just needed someone to lean on. He'd also listen and comfort her when she needed it without judging her. I have a feeling she'd know a lot of his dirty/dark secrets and so he'd go to her to calm down.

As to the crush thing....hmmm. I want to check something with Jade about Riku/sora but I think it'd be cute. he does already think she's adorable and while not in the whole 'crushing' stage. Maybe there's a period when they're both vulnerable or something and she reveals her crush and he somehow tricks himself into thinking he feels the same? *is reaching for straws*

He is definitely protective of her and he'd probably go after anyone that hurt her. He'd definitely be like a puppy around her and want her constant attention on him. probably get a little jealous if there was anyone else who had her attention or trust the way he did.

All I did was modify Addie's plot page template a little. x3 I love these two. Mostly because I love Riku~ But yeah. He'd definitely be the one she'd go to if she needed someone to talk to. Because she'd the type of person that'd think he could do better than her anyway, so she'd want to still be friends even despite having a crush on him and knowing it won't go anywhere. ooooooo~ i like that idea. maybe he's down or she's down or something and she confesses and at first he hesitates to answer cause he's confused. So after a while of assessing his reactions when she suddenly starts speaking to another guy and seems close with him, he gets jealous of her attention on another guy and mistakes it for 'liking' her. Maybe (if riku/sora is still up n running) when he realizes he actually have feelings for sora he lets her down easy but cant stand the idea of loosing her. Or maybe he comes to realize after a while of matching his feelings to his other friends that he doesn't like her after all.

XD i really dont think Riku would like anyone let ALONE a guy talk to her. but he'd hide his selfishness and try to deal with it. and it'd be the same with riku, he wouldn't trade her in for the world and wouldn't let what happened between them change anything
