One of the absolute best best best places in the whole town! Sure maybe Texia was a huge nature buff, or an environmental science major or anything, but that wasn't what attracted her to the flower-filled utopia. What the park had that she loved more than almost anything in the whole world was fish. In the small stream teamed with aquatic little critters, fish just happened to be in abundance. If she could, the blonde would happily just spend all day talking and watching the cute, scaly creatures swim and splash about. She knew they would never talk back, and probably wouldn't acknowledge her presence at all (aside from maybe fear), but then again, when was that ever a reason to be put down? Never her in book, that's for sure. So it was no surprise, as the school year was beginning again, that one of Texia's first destinations was her fishy friends in the park. An elementary student's math workbook was clutched under her arm as she rushed down the ever so familiar route to her favorite spot. A nice shady tree loomed over a section of the stream, and it was the perfect place to sit down and relax to her heart's content. Often the blonde did her homework here, and got to enjoy the presence of the fish in the stream while being productive as well. Win-win, as far as she was concerned. Obviously she didn't have any work to do now, but that was exactly what this workbook was for! "Elementary or not, it's brand new so it'll be fun to go through the whole thing regardless! Of course a challenge is always enjoyable, but a huge quantity of easy activities is an almost-match for a few difficult equations. Though maybe I should have brought along challenging ones too if my interests shift halfway through..." Rattling off in her head, going back and forth between the different types of math she could have brought along with her, and the outcomes of each, it appeared as if no time at all passed when her dubbed "spot" was before her. "Today's a day for relaxation and low scale stuff, so I think my choice to buy this workbook is just fine for now," she concluded aloud. Plopping the book down by the base of the tree, Texia kneeled at the edge of the stream. "But anyways before all that, I can't forget to say hello to my fishy friends! Haven't seen you guys in awhile, huh? Nice to see you all! Looking as healthy as ever I see, that's good, that's good. Probably going to take up the same routine as last semester and spend my homework time out here with you guys, that okay with you?" Words pouring out of her mouth, the sophomore didn't even consider how strange it looked to be talking to fish, nor that the fish wouldn't give her an answer anyways.
