dressed casually, he was wearing black gym shorts and a plain white tee shirt, sneakers hiding his white no-show socks. it wasn't a hot day, but it wasn't cold either. if anything, he found the weather very comfortable. the scent of moisture in the air hinted that it might rain, but he didn't mind getting wet. and since he didn't plan on going back to his dorm until nightfall (unless the person he was kind of waiting on came by), getting wet might just be a very real possibility.

yeah. he was kind of waiting on someone. not officially, of course, as that someone had no idea he was waiting on them. he just kind of was. the reason he'd chosen this tree, and the reason behind him liking it so much, was because it was where he'd first met Akii. Ever since that meeting, he'd found himself sitting under that tree at least once a week. not really worried about whether she'd come by it or not.

but maybe she would today. even the weather was reminiscent of their first meeting. of course, she'd been the one at the tree first that time. painting. he could actually smell the paint when he thought about it. perhaps it was because of his creativity that the fragrance of paint was so calming. though he was more gifted in music and pencil drawing, an artist was an artist.
