Brief Overview:

· 127 centimeters [ 4'2" ] tall. he's just a little too short to be referred to a average in height, though it doesn't bother him in the least. his 30 kilograms [ 66 pounds ] consists of mostly baby fat, though he does have a bit of lean muscle in his arms and legs, even though he still looks rather small and thin. his skin is blemish free, save a few freckles here and there, and he's got a very slight tan from playing outside. he has a lot of energy that keeps him running around and in pretty good shape.

· brunet. his hair is a medium shade of brown, appearing more a light brown when he's outside in the sunlight. wet or dry; his hair doesn't quite brush his collar in the back, just barely passes his ears at either side of his head, and stops just above his eyes in the front where his fringe is cut a bit choppy. his hair is very easily managed, always straight and never tangling up. it's very smooth and sort with a healthy sheen to it. golden brown. his eyes are a light brown that seem to have a little bit of a golden hue mixed in.

· casual and comfortable. he doesn't really like dressing up because he prefers light clothing that's comfortable and easy to move around in. loose shorts, pants, and sometimes jeans. loose tee shirts, jackets, and hoodies. sneakers, sandals, and boots. it's not very often that he'll wear anything else, if he has any choice in the matter. the coloration of his attire varies, though he does tend to favor a particular green hoodie over the other ones he has.

he also tends to favor a couple of his pairs of shorts; a jean pair and a yellowy-khaki pair. there's also a yellow-tan tee shirt that he tends to wear more than his other ones. the exception to all of this are special occasions where he has to wear formal attire and his school uniform.

· accessories. he likes wearing beanies and scarves and can usually be seen wearing a pair of headphones around his neck or over his ears. when he has to carry things around, like school books and things, he tends to go with his forest green messenger bag. and if he's not wearing a beanie of scarf, you can most likely find them in his bag, just in case he ends up needing them.

· jewelry and tattoos. he's a little too young for body art, though he does like looking at different tattoo designs online. he'd never actually get one, though, because he doesn't like needles very much. he's thought about maybe getting his ears pierced or something one day, but he hasn't thought too hard about it. the only jewelry he wears are bracelets and necklaces. his favorite necklace is a leather string with a silver soccer ball pendant attached to it. he has several leather bracelets that he wears a lot, too.

· highly intelligent :: he's naturally brilliant and catches on to things very easily; including things like math, science, and new languages.

· kazunari is eccentric. he has unusual eating habits, such as the way he chooses to sit whilst eating as well as the way he picks up his food. he tends to think outside the box, rather than going along with the typical method of solving a problem. he wears what he wants, how he wants, and doesn't care what anyone has to say about it.

· he's also selectively mute. the an extreme degree. thus far, he's only ever verbally spoken to his brother, sister, and his brother's best friend. everyone else gets sign language and if they can't read it, well, too bad for them (unless he has his notepad handy, or course). he's socially awkward, has difficulty keeping eye contact, and doesn't express his true feelings well at all. he's sensitive to noise and crowds and has trouble sleeping by himself.

· really, he wants to be loved and appreciated for who he is. he's a bit obsessive-compulsive; he absolutely has to eat the food on his plate one item at a time, in a certain order (starches, vegetables, then meats). he's also very uncomfortable when things aren't symmetrical or 'perfectly' done.

· he has a terrible fear of thunder that can cause him to have panic attacks. the effects are always much worse when he's by himself, so when no one is around he tends to hide himself as far from windows and doors as possible. he's also got a bad fear of spider that causes him to really freak out when he see's one of the arachnids. the critters haven't caused any panic attacks so far, though.

· on top of it all, he also suffers with a terrible fear of the dark. having a nightlight and a bunch of stuffed animals doesn't help him very much at all, and it's usually best for someone to stay with him until he falls asleep. of course, if he wakes up during the night, chances are he'll try to find someone to cuddle up with.

· there's no one he loves more than his brother and sister and his brother's best friend. the three of them are the most important people in the world to him. he has a bit of a big brother complex, though, and he idolizes both of the 'big brother' figures in his life. he prefers spending time with them over spending it with anyone else, and would, quite literally, do anything they told him too if it were the only way to stay with them.

Overview:

· kazunari was born to a rich family who never quite treated him the same as his older brother and sister. mommy and daddy didn't dote on him or try to make him happy, they instead basically ignored him and his needs completely for their precious daughter and perfect son. because he was different. he was socially inept and didn't talk, he was too smart and too curious, he had a short attention span and was obsessive compulsive. nothing like an intelligent, charismatic, and sporty son they'd been wanting him to be.

· he never put any of the blame on his siblings, though. in fact, his siblings were the ones he'd run to when he was bored or upset. he'd even play dress-up with his sister, even if that meant dressing up in dresses that were now too small for her.

· it was probably because he was a little too much for his parents to bother handling that he never got any attention from them. he was sent off to school as soon as the time came, him parents not even seeming to care when they dropped him off. but school wasn't really the best thing for him. he was picked on and bullied for being who he was; and add, ocd kid who didn't talk to anyone. the teachers tried to help, but there wasn't much they could do when he refused to speak to them too.

· if not for his siblings, he might have run away. his sister was only a year ahead of him in school and they always got to eat lunch and go to recess together. his brother would always do his best to protect him and make up for the way their parents treated him. and then there was his brother's best friend, who may as well have been his brother too since he would always dote on him and help protect him.

· the bullying eventually died down, though there were still a couple bullies that liked to pick on him. the rest had gotten bored of bothering him, or were scared of the two teenagers that tended to show up to help him. school got a little easier after that, though his teachers continued to chide him for not talking.

· when he was eight, his bother took him so a doctor who actually diagnosed his selective mutism. after that, the teachers no longer tried to force him to speak; it would have been unethical to do so when he had an actual disorder. his ocd had been diagnosed as well, and even his fears had been looked into. but there wasn't anything that could really be done about any of it.

· whenever he get's the chance, he follows his brother around. he's even followed the older boy to school before. sometimes he manages to not get caught but other times, well, his brother spots him. even when he does get caught, he usually ends up tagging along with his brother anyway. it's much the same with his brother's best friend.
