With a sigh he sat down on the nearest bed, the one he had pretty much chosen to be his because...well first come first serve? The blonde gave a small huff as he leaned back onto the bed.
It was the first day of the new semester. To be honest it wasn't really the first day, Roxas just didn't unpack all the things on the first day hence it was the first day of classes. Where was his roommate? The boy hadn't seen any signs of a roommate yet... which was a little strange. Maybe he wasn't getting one? More likely the kid was just coming later then most. He didn't really mind though... He never really liked being around people... Didn't deserve to be around normal people.
Roxas looked up at the ceiling, a loud bang coming from outside the room in the hallway. Roxas's blue eyes stayed fixed on the ceiling... not taking notice of what was making the ruckus. It's not like it concerned him... not that he knew of anyway. He let his mind wander a bit... Maybe he should get some books from the library. He liked the place well enough after all.
The spiky haired blonde let his eyes slowly drip down, tired from the long car ride to get here. It was... jet lag is the term? Whatever it is the boy rubbed his eyes sleepily, pushing himself up onto his elbows on the bed. Today was going to be an interesting day wasn't it?
After a few moments of resting he sat up and plopped on his sneakers. Within a few minutes he was outside that big... beautiful building of books. The library was a paradox... a place proud to be silent but never fully quiet. It amused him... as he was never fully alone with his pain like in true silence. The young man let his fingers brush against the spines of a few older books before picking one up. |

~Like a kitty in a cage, like a puppy in a box on a plane.~
Lili had few experiences with public libraries, and so far, she wasn't impressed with much except for the architecture. The first year had come with all intentions to pick up the latest book in a Japanese Steampunk series, find a quiet corner, sink into the awaiting chair, and read to all her heart's content. Unfortunately, all copies of the book she had been looking for were checked out and the library was not as peaceful nor quiet as she had hoped. The brunette sighed as she restlessly traversed down one row of bookshelves to the next, seeking the right one that she would know the instance she opened up to the first page. The discovery of a new story was always the most exciting part, well, that and the ending.
The girl hated to admit it, but maybe she was a bit homesick. If she was at home right now she would be curled up all snug under her soft zebra print covers with the book she wanted cradled in her hands - fresh from the bookstore courtesy of her mother or father. Then again, that could just be the sick Lili who was used to being spoiled like that because she couldn't even move around the house talking. No, no! She was a big girl, healthy and whole, and she could get what she wanted all by herself. Mmm, but she really did still miss all the comforts of home. Oh, and her friends, boy did she miss her friends! Her weird, crazy and colorful friends...
Lili instantly started to zone out, her deep red-brown eyes taking on a characteristic misty look that meant she was currently not available, so please call back at a later time. Such a state also had the tendency to make one about five point three three - repeating of course - times more lucky to run into another person.
...Funny how that worked, huh?
There was a flicker of movement out of the corner of her eye, blonde hair and a fair-skinned hand reaching, and then the sudden realization that her wedge sneakered feet were not going to stop in time. Alarm trickled through her system and Lili had just enough time to think 'Wait...oh no!' before contact would be made.
~Gotta make a way out.~

Hika lay, passed out with his head on the desk in the library. He used a book as a pillow, albeit a very uncomfortable one, until two students came crashing down on top of him. The table he had been sitting at was tucked away in a dark corner where he believed nobody went. Dust settled around the three students as the books ran out of dust to throw. “Mmnmnmm…” He sighed and looked around. “Who woke me- I mean… Who disrupted my studying?” Hikaku asked, shaking his head and moving the black hair from his face. His dark eyes gazed around at the havoc caused because of these two and picked up his cane. The well dressed man walked around and began putting the fallen books away as the other two culprits came to. He hummed a small tune as he went around cleaning the books up; it looked as though he danced his way through each step. Hikaku had set the table back up and was sitting in the chair across from the two other students; he laid his head back and closed his onyx colored eyes. “This is so bothersome…” He sighed and opened the history book in front of him.
