Akii is rather quiet, preferring to keep to herself and live in her own little world than to venture into the lives of others—it’s not that she’s some anti-social emo kid…that’s just how she was raised. She was raised to be more independent than most kids and to survive on the bare minimal of social interaction—because that’s just how things were for her as a child, she didn’t have the luxury of having a doting family who spent hours on end showering her with love and affection like most kids did.

She’s an artistic young woman who enjoys spending lazy afternoons outside among nature, painting the scenery or writing fictional stories centered around unlikely heroes and nefarious villains.

She knows how to talk to people, to make friends and all that—she’s just not interested in going out of her way to meet or talk to someone, in her mind it’s just not worth it. If she’s put in a situation where it’s unavoidable, she has to start a conversation with someone then it may take a few awkward tries but she’ll get the hang of it eventually.

Akii isn't the type of girl who sits, daydreaming about her knight in shining armor--she's a little more realistic than that. Outwardly she's quiet and may seem annoyed with the world, but once you break past the outer exterior of her guard you'll have her forever.

Her 'I-don't-care' attitude could easily make her a few enemies, not that she'd really care--she tends to avoid confrontation as best she can. But that doesn't mean that it's not there.

Possible Crush/Love Interest.

Friends First. Kaito is pretty outgoing and friendly and he doesn't mind talking to people in the least, so she wouldn't have to do very much in the way of socializing since he'd do most of the talking anyway. That being said, he's also pretty mature and he doesn't push people into things that they'd rather not do. So if she would rather sit in the quiet, he would quiet down himself and just enjoy whatever natural sounds he can hear.

As for the possible crush and/or love interest. Maybe she'd be one of the few that can always tell which twin is which? That, in-and-of itself, might lead to him having a crush on her. The crush developing any further than that would depend on how she feels, of course, as well as how his brother feels. Because Kaito is likely to ignore his own feeling for her if his brother likes her too.

I think at first she'd be a little confused [she's a little cautious around people she doesn't know], wondering why he was wasting time with being friendly towards her. But then she'd feel grateful that he was making the effort and not pushing himself into her life quickly, that he was easing himself in slowly she'd definitely open up and start trusting him. I could see her confiding in him about her family life and why she's so thrilled to be at KU and far away from her home life--which is something she's never told anyone before.

Hm. Well, she's pretty perceptive so the possibility of her being able to distinguish who is who could definitely happen. I could see her and him getting a long easily [you know, after the initial conversation where she realizes that he isn't some jerk who's after something] which could quickly lead to her developing feelings for him as well.

So yeah, I like your ideas :3

Kaito wouldn't just shove himself into anyone's life and he'd be sweet and considerate through out every meeting (assuming his brother's not around). He would definitely listen when she finally did open up to him and she wouldn't need to worry about him telling anyone else anything. He'd keep secrets and such, even from Hiro, so she'd be able to tell him anything she wanted to.

I imagine he'd probably be a bit naive when it comes to how he really feels and once he realizes it he'd be a little reluctant to admit how he feels to anyone. Of course, having her actually know which twin is which would be enough to prompt him to realize things a bit sooner.

I guess the only thing that could inhibit the relationship would be when Kaito and Hiro are together around her, since he typically blends his own personality with his brothers. That'd only be a problem until he starts to feel something for her though, since he'd try to get his brother to lighten up some after that. Plus she'd know what he's really like.

I think that she'd, at first, be a little upset that he's acting differently towards her when he and his brother are together and she'd probably say something to him about it--but I guess the only way to find out how things play out in the long run is to thread them together xD!

They're both pretty quiet people so I think she would appreciate that he's not some loud, obnoxious guy. She would definitely enjoy his company, whether they're just sitting together, him playing his guitar and her painting, or if they're actually holding a conversation. They'd probably have a pretty laid-back relationship !

Awe~ i really love the idea of him playing his guitar while she painted :3 it's be cute. But yeah i agree they'd be very laid back and i think he'd appreciate that since so many of his friends are always trying to get him to open up and get outgoing. Definitely think he needs a friend like her whose not going to try and force him into that change.

I'm thinking maybe she hears him play? Or he sees her work and that's how they start talking? I'm starting straw lol any ideas?
