M[/color]agic and mysticism. Fairytales and fantasy. All long considered to be nothing more than mere tales meant to amuse children and teach moral lessons. However, with the advancement of science in the last sixty years, there has been a sudden emerging interest in studying these stories and legends in an attempt to find out if there really was anything significant within all of the folklore.

The discovery of mages, men and women who are able to manipulate reality around them, was the scientific breakthrough of the century, But with the realization came fear and paranoia, the thought that these nearly unexplainable powers could be used to upset the governments of the world, and so a collective decision was made. Mages were rounded up and placed in government encampments, tracked and schooled to ensure that they posed to threat to society.
