The seventeenth century, the time period of the Golden Age of Piracy! Of course, Earth isn't the only place overrun with pirates. The Pokemon World, a land of vast beauty and stunning creatures. You may understand the twenty-first century Pokemon World, but what about the seventeenth century version of it? That's right! Pirates, pirates, everywhere! The constant battle between the pirates and region militaries are leaving citizens in fear.
Of course, not all pirates are that bad, but just their name breathed will send a chill through the lives of normal people. Pokemon a kept as either loyal pets or tired out slaves. The Pokeball isn't even an idea yet, so people are forced to work hard to tame their companions. Some keep collars around their necks, some brand them. Others, well, they use whips.

Sarsaparilla! is a new Pokemon roleplay based in the age of Pirates, if you haven't noticed. There currently isn't a plot, but something will be formed once we have more members. There isn't a word count, so this is a roleplay for all levels of roleplayers! Join in on the adventure of a lifetime with your favorite Pokemon companion.
