Erazia looked up at the cylinder-shaped building before her. It was the Anderson Building, where she'd be taking band. Granted, she wasn't a music major, nor could she play any instrument to a particular profession, but she enjoyed playing simple things on various instruments. Besides, this was a place for learning, and she just has a larger space to fill to get better than some other students.
She knew for a fact that her brother had nothing to worry about in the music field. He'd been playing piano ever since they'd been kids, and Erazia loved to listen to him. His only weakness is reading sheet music. So at least she wouldn't be the only one taking in new skills for band. Ignoring the sculptures at the moment, she walked right into the building.
For a music building, it was unusually quiet. However, Erazia shrugged this off. It was only the start of the semester, you can't expect too many people practicing instruments now. Well, except her that is. With her classes secured and Her dorm signed up for, she had a lot of free time before she had to start classes. So she figured it would never hurt to touch up on her playing skills. That, and she would have plain fun doing it as well.
Upon walking along the hallway, found a practice room conveniently near the door. She grasped the handle, the door opening with a click that echoed throughout the empty floor. She stepped in, and shut the door behind her. She took a moment to gaze around he room in wonder. There were so many instruments! A smile grew on her face as she walked up to each one. Sure, she didn't know what some of them were, but they were very interesting to look at.
Her footsteps echoed in the room as she walked around. Her shoes only had small heels, they were called flats for a reason after all, so the noise wasn't unbearable. When her small tour was over, her attention was immediately drawn to the piano. Sitting in the center of the room, it outshined almost all of the other instruments.
Erazia's brother, Zeran, had taught her to play some songs when they were young. However, over time, she'd only remembered the song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". It was the first song he'd taught her and it stuck. She could easily play it by sound. She took a seat on the piano stool, her hands funding the correct keys almost instantly. The short, innocen nursery rhyme started to play, it's noise coming clear and beautiful in the large room. And even when she finished, Erazia simply played it again, until it was obvious she was replaying the song over and over again in an endless cycle to anyone who may have caught its sound.
