The professor had wandered around the school for a while after his first couple classes; he'd gotten tired of seeing the same old boring chocolate and pale mousse-colored wall and floor decorations. After a while, his eyes got tired. He'd walked a couple laps around the school campus, rubbing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose between his thumb and forefinger, before he finally decided that he'd walked enough to consider himself ready to return. Well, especially considering he only had approximately twenty minutes to set up until the next class came. As far as he remembered, the next class was Gender and Sexuality. That made sense; he knew he hadn't taught it all day. That must've been it. Axel entered Golisano shortly after determining that he had about twenty minutes, and he made his way immediately to the room. He unlocked the door and entered into the darkness. He flicked on the lights again, feeling much more lively now that he'd gotten some air. The faint brown and white color scheme of this room no longer made his eyes want to close; on the contrary, he felt much more energetic. After all, this first day had been rather successful, all things considered. As far as he could tell, he had no trouble-makers - not that he'd mind one or two to spice up his day - and they all seemed rather friendly and intelligent. That was good. At least they showed an interested in their respective classes. The First Years were, as to be expected, quite wild and disorganized in their behavior and thoughts. They'd catch on quick, though; they always did. They had to in order to get into Kingdom University. Axel didn't mind the slower ones, though. He'd always need to make sure he kept the proper pace so the quick guys didn't get bored and the slow guys didn't get left behind. Anyways, that wasn't the point right now. He had to get ready for the next class. He grabbed the projector remote off the edge of his desk and aimed it at the projector hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room, and when he heard the beep that alerted him that the projector had turned on, he set down the remote and rummaged around in his desk to find the attendance list for this class; he'd learned from his mistakes from the previous classes! He would be prepared this time. Axel counted the number of students, then moved to the back of the room to where a box of pocket planners and two different stacks of paper sat on a long black lab table. He counted out the number of planners he needed for each of his students to get one, then moved back, weaving between the desks to lay one planner on each of them. Once those were gone, he returned to count out the required number of each of the stacks of paper he'd need, laying one of each on the desks beside the planners. He looked at the clock above the door, confirming that he had only about five minutes to finish getting ready. Well, it wasn't like his students would mind if the professor was late instead of them for once. Axel walked up to the front desk again, opening up his sleek navy blue laptop and pushing the button so that it would show on the Smart Board in the front of the room. He scrolled to the PowerPoint program and opened it up, selecting to open the PowerPoint presentation for the first day of Gender and Sexuality class. With that prepared, he walked to the front of the room and grabbed the black marker, scribbling his name out on the board. Well, not much longer and his students would arrive. He stepped outside the door, leaning against the wall just outside his room and looking shortly up and down the halls to catch a glimpse of his students who might be arriving. Oh, this would be fun. | [atrb=style, width: 100px; vertical-align: center;] | [atrb=style, background: #b2c7d6; padding: 8px; border: 2px dashed #B13E0F; -webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 10px 10px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; opacity: 0.6]Tagged: the class of -snicker- GAS. It looked like class had not start yet, which was good because she did not have a watch and she had forgotten to charge her phone last night, since, well, a person was standing outside of the door, a tall, well-dressed man with what looked like a lion’s mane on top of his head. Not only did this man look like the professor, but she knew it was the professor, she remembered Professor Greysein from her Controversial Social Issues class last year and from the class she had just had with him earlier that day, Deviance and Social Control. To be honest, she was sort of surprised that he would be teaching this class, not because he was unqualified or anything like that, but just because the stereotype was that gender studies was a field populated completely by women and gay men. And while she knew that to not be true, she was still a little surprised to see Professor Greysein as her gender professor. Still, she supposed it would be good to get a male perspective on these issues.
But, really, this was the class Atsuko was the most excited about. First year, she was not allowed to enroll and last year the class had conflicted with the time for another class she needed to take, but now, finally, she was able to take Gender and Sexuality. She had been reading about gender, gender relations, and sexuality for the past five years and now finally had the chance to finally take a class. Her mind was rushing with all of the ideas that she had for class and the questions she’d ask and the topics she wanted them to address – she could not, at all, focus… on anything. She was just giddy with the idea of class. Also, the idea of having two classes with Professor Greysein was exciting, since she remember him being an awesome professor last year and he was sort of easy on the eyes. A wide smile graced her face as she was prepared to be the know-it-all girl that made class annoying for everyone else but really enjoyed the class herself while doing so.
So, Atsuko walked over to her professor, dressed in short black heels, black pencil skirt, and white blouse, just as she had been for his previous class, and greeted him, “Hello Professor Greysein, I’m really excited about taking this class,” while offering out a hand. She did not really know what else to say, not wanting to appear over eager, but the smile on her face as she spoke was a clue as to how excited she was.
After her brief words with the professor, Atsuko walked into the room and took a seat near the front. She flipped through the packet of papers that was already on the desk, seeing what they would be doing today and for the next few weeks. This was the boring part, when there was no one to talk to and class had yet to start, the waiting. Well, at least it wouldn’t last too long.

I remember black skies the lightning all around me, I remember each flash as time began to blur.
The five foot eleven twenty-one year old made his way toward his last class of the day. His dark brown hair was swept back, away from his face, and a pair of glasses were perched upon the bridge of his nose. He didn't often wear his glasses, since he didn't really need them for anything. The did make reading a little bit easier if he was doing so for an extended period of time but that was about it.
Because he had been reading for the past few hours at the library, he had put them on. Now, he was heading to class and he just didn't feel like putting them away in their case, which was in his bag. Lazy? Not really. He actually didn't mind being seen with his glasses on. They made him look more elegant (or so he'd been told).
Today, he was wearing his usual loose black pants with a light green dress shirt and a dark green tie. His black messenger bag was strapped over his right shoulder, resting against his left leg, and he was grasping his black hoodie in his left fist, the garment tossed over his should. His other hand was in his pocket up until he had to open a door, then it went right back.
His headphones were around his neck, a bit unusual since they normally covered his ears. He had pulled them off his ears and turned off his IPod not long after leaving the library, actually. Perhaps because he bored with the music? Or because he was listening to the people around him? Both were probably a little on the correct side.
As he neared his class room, he spotted someone standing outside of the door, resting against the wall. He recognized the red-head almost instantly. He had, after all, taken 'Controversial Social Issues' and 'Deviance and Social Control' in the past. Both classes had been taught by the man standing outside of his classroom door. 'Guess that means he teaches this one too.'
Akira felt rather happy about that. It meant he got to enjoy the Sociology Professor's presence for yet another semester. He wasn't stupid, he knew the man was straight and all that. Plus he was a professor. Still, it didn't mean he couldn't dream or hope or whatever. It wasn't like he was hurting anyone by watching the man and (probably) flirting with him. Then again, his flirtatious nature meant he did the latter to quite a few people. Blame it on his playful curiosity. He wondered if it bothered the guy.
"Good afternoon Professor Greysein. It's good to see you again." He grinned one of his goofy grins as he waved towards the professor with his right hand before heading into the classroom. Taking note of the girl already there he sat down in the same row as she had, in the desk next to hers. "Hey there."
