"And how can I pretend I've never known you? Like it was all a dream, no. I know I'll never forget the way I always felt with you beside me and how you loved me then, yeah. The shadows stretched over the ground as the rain fell, a child's footsteps could be seen but not heard over the thunder. A splash in the puddle here,a pained cry. Then it all stopped, the noises seemed to be dulled, only the rain remained. As the black cloaked figure approached the child, the lightning shot across the sky revealing the child's tear and blood streaked face. He stared at the man that was standing over him, and raised his arm to block the sword that was flashing down. He cried out and outside of the dream he would be tossing and turning, coughing at the same time. He screamed outside the nightmare to, his nails digging into his arm right where the sword had cut into his flesh, he had the scar from it. So in a sense he was tearing at the scar, he never wanted to see him this weak. But he was not awake to stop it. As the nightmare continued, the boy felt the blood splash his face, it was just in the nightmare but he was still scared as if it was really happening. He couldn't breathe, his eyes flickered to the body that was on the ground bleeding. He cried and clawed at the man's arm who was holding onto him.
He wanted the man to let him go. As he kicked him, and managed to get free, he fell down to the ground and was at his friends side crying. The man on the ground was his guardian, he wanted his friend to be okay. The boy's eyes shot open as he banged his head against the wooden part of the bed. He split his forehead open or at least cut it cause blood was dripping down his forehead. He shivered and tried to look around the room, he was scared and it seemed his room-mate was still asleep. He hoped he would stay asleep, the boy didn't want to wake anyone else up. He put his hand on his forehead, pulling it back to look at the red stuff that was on his hand, he shivered his eyes seemed to be filled with a certain fear that hadn't been there for years.
"It was just a nightmare...Kei...calm down..."he was talking to himself, he had to act as a something he wasn't and he had to remember that. He put his hand on his chest, the bandages had stayed this time so maybe no one had found out. He was trying to tell himself it was nothing more then a dream, or well in this case a nightmare. He looked at Aster, and wanted to make sure he was still asleep, he shivered and pulled the blanket over him again with one hand. The other hand was clutching the wound on his forehead. He shivered again and tried to control what was going on then there was nothing was making this better. It might as well have just made things happen and he was trying his best to just make all of this work better.
He tried to move off of the bed, but he felt something grab at his ankle, he pulled himself back onto the bed and curled up away from the edges to him it felt like the darkness was closing in. He tried to get away from it, and there was nothing that would have helped him. He was trying his best to keep his body from breaking. His right eye was closed, the blood was dripping down staining his bed shirt and he hated it. He couldn't get off of the bed nor could he move he was trying his hardest and there was nothing that would help him again.
He did not feel like being discovered already, maybe it was why he had picked this place, a room with others was better then rooming alone as it had always been. He gathered the clothes he had, all of his clothes were a bit to big for him. The nineteen year old was sent here for reasons, he had to hide. There was no way he'd let anyone get close to him, they would figure him out. He would be out of this place soon enough, he just had to wait for the call when he would be able to go home. 'Father...Why do you hunt me....' The child wanted to know, he had even asked his father and had been hit for it. He did not know why, there was something about him. Something his father hated, and he was always trying to understand that.
His memories were starting to bug him again, he held the pillow to his body shaking still, he knew that he wouldn't be able to sleep now and it annoyed him to the very end. He wanted to sleep after all, but his body was not letting him now. The boy toyed with the the collar around his neck, it was something he wore lately, more like a choker then a collar, but it covered up the scars that were there. He had a thing for chains, which was most people avoided him,he wanted to keep it that way. There was just a few things that might have happened this way. "Just gotta last till....the morning...." he kept his hand over the wound and just tried not to freak and keep himself still before he did something to himself. "You led me here, then I watched you disappear. You left this emptiness inside and I can't turn back time." Song: Never be the same by Red.... Notes: He's just dealing with his problems, and he is bleeding onto his shirt.... so uh yea any other questions just ask.

"It was just a nightmare...Kei...calm down..." Words, Aster wasn't really asleep any more, nope, the screaming and such woke him. The purple haired man heard the rustle of sheets, so the other was going to try and go back to sleep? Wait no, they were trying to move, Aster's eyes flicked open slightly, he didn't make a sound. Instead his grey eyes watched the other moving in the darkness across the room. Curling up in bed, shaking. Holding that pillow to themselves.
"Just gotta last till....the morning...." A sigh finally erupted from Aster as he slipped out of his bed and then wandered around the room. He headed for the bathroom, flicking on the light in silence as he went about grabbing a small first aid kit that was in there.
After he had what he wanted the man headed back in to the room.
"Sounded like quite the smack when you hit your head on the headboard." Now the man opened up the small red case and then sat on the very edge of Kei's bed. Right next to the other. Using one of the alcohol wipes he cleaned the wound up then dabbed the thing dry before putting a plaster over it that was enough to stop the bleeding for now.
"Just gotta hope you don't have concusion or anything." Tired eyes scanned the other that was there before he closed the box and tossed it on to a bedside table. With that done? He headed back to his own bed climbing under the sheets.
Scooting right back he left part of the sheets moved so the bed was exposed.
"If you're having nightmares you can climb in to my bed with me if it'll make you feel any safer." Aster got the words out before he flipped from his side on to his back and stared up at the ceiling.
It was entirely up to Kei now, but trust Aster to get landed with a room mate who was going to keep him up at night and ... not in the good sense.

"And how can I pretend I've never known you? Like it was all a dream, no. I know I'll never forget the way I always felt with you beside me and how you loved me then, yeah. Kei happened to still be hoping he hadn't woken Aster up, he was not one for wanting to do that. They usually weren't this bad, most of the time he could sleep and have one or two then just fall back to sleep. Why did they all of a sudden get bad like this again, he coughed and clutched the pillow tighter to his chest. Nothing was helping him now, he was trying to do as he had before when they had started to get this way. But unlike then it was failing as it had before, but now there was nothing that had helped his mind. He didn't mean to if by some odd chance he had woken the man up. He did not want to hurt anyone nor keep them awake it was why he tried to control them as he always did. He was not doing so well at this school already maybe it was cause he was alone and he was usually not this scared. But he was away from his house. 'Away from my home...why does it scare me that much...' He wanted to cry but he wouldn't, the tears did not fall they just pricked his eyes. He knew he wasnt' entirely alone, but he had to deal with it. He was worried about his family and every one else but his mind was running away from him again and he hated it more then he wanted to mention. He heard the sigh and jumped, almost falling out of the bed he knew he had woken up and he hated himself for it now. "I...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to wake you up..." he was apologizing but wouldn't look up at all, his mind was hurting him way to much as well as the wound on his head.
He shivered and looked at the bathroom where Aster had gone, he wondered what the man was doing he was just a child, well not literally a child but he was worried like one wasn't he. He started to feel sick again and now there was nothing that would help him here. He just hoped the other person wasn't made at him, after all he did not want to hurt anyone nor wake anyone up. He winced and looked up at the man now, he was really worried maybe more about the other one being mad at him then how hurt he was. Or whether the wound was bad or not, he just knew that maybe it might have hurt and he wanted to get this person to go back to sleep. If he could he would just curl back up in the bed and try to sleep again not that it would help him. He winced, but didn't say anything just clinging to the sheets. He was exhausted but he knew his body wouldn't let him sleep as it always had that problem once in awhile.
"It hurts a little bit...But it's not that bad..." he was trying to keep himself from reacting or freaking out he was not one for other contact but he was sure that if he knew this person enough it wouldn't matter to him again. He slipped out of his bed, boucing carefully over to Aster's bed where he curled up on the part of the bed he was given. He didn't want to do this, but at the same time he was tired and just wanted to sleep. "I'm sorry...thank you..." he muttered closing his eyes, trying to relax. The room was not that bad, he had to realize he wasnt' alone even if he was still slightly scared.
He just had to get used to this place and then maybe the nightmares would stop, and he wouldn't scream as much or at all. Then he could just leave Aster alone, and the man wouldn't be burdened by him anymore. "You led me here, then I watched you disappear. You left this emptiness inside and I can't turn back time." "I...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to wake you up..." Aster just smiled hearing those words. Poor kid, that's all the guy really was, wasn't it? Just a scared kid on the inside.
"Seriously, it's fine. I usually sleep like a log besides I only need a couple of hours rest before I'm ready to get up and go." Words that were calm and gentle, Aster was trying to help soothe the others worries. Whatever bugged them? They sure as hell didn't need him yelling at them or being an asshole towards them. So he'd just act like he used to be when he was a kid. Back when he looked after his cousin.
"It hurts a little bit...But it's not that bad..." Aster was trying to be gentle but the wound still hurt the poor guy he was roomed with.
"It's fine I'm sure but still, best to keep it clean." He was trying so very, very hard to soothe the person. He really was.
The kid headed over to his bed and curled up on that side, Aster sighed and shook his head. The kid could get closer if he wanted too, in fact Aster was thinking about dragging the kid in to a hug or something. Just so that they knew someone was there and that someone would protect them.
"I'm sorry...thank you..." Words that were muttered to Aster and the purple haired man just smiled before an arm went out and curled around Kei's waist dragging him towards the center of the bed. Aster moved himself closer as well. Still on his back mind you he used that arm to make sure Kei's head was on his chest. So that he could hear the calm rhythm of Aster's heart beat. All in hopes of soothing the others nerves and lulling them in to a more comfortable sleep.
"Shhhhh... It was just a nightmare... I'll be here okay? I have a free period tomorrow morning so I'll stick around and stay here till you wake up." The words were hushed as he gave Kei a gentle squeeze, Aster's over hand moved brushing parts of Kei's fringe out of his face gently.
"It's okay to sleep. I'll be right here." Whispered words to the other. Now it was just a case of if the other was able to sleep or if Aster had made this awkward for them. Either way it was better than them dwelling on the nightmare they'd just had.

"And how can I pretend I've never known you? Like it was all a dream, no. I know I'll never forget the way I always felt with you beside me and how you loved me then, yeah. The young boy barely knew anyone here, he had been tossed into a life he didn't think he would ever have to understand. But he felt like he already ended up making a friend though he was not sure if that was a good thing. He didnt' want anyone getting hurt because of him. The boy couldn't and wouldn't explain that to Aster though, not now. Maybe one day he would until then things just had to go that way. Most of them knew it again, but he was not sure if the older male would get what he meant. He could tell this person was different as some of the others he had met, which apparently was not very many. He did not like to make enemies so he was careful again. "If you say so...." He was trying to believe that, it was probably true. This person seemed nice, and he was always trying to do things that were going to make his life easier here. He felt better already maybe just because he felt a bit at peace here and he was not about to let that change anything.
"Yea...." he was not one for talking, or well he would when he felt a bit more comfortable here. If he kept close to Aster maybe it wouldn't be so bad he just didnt' want to annoy him right. He was a good kid that way, and had to make the best of who he was. He was a child yes, but he was trying not to be one he had to be smarter and stronger then he had been before. Kei squeaked slightly when Aster pulled him closer, but he just closed his eyes and settled down again. He was tired and felt more comfortable next to Aster if that did make any sense to anyone right now.
Kei nuzzled into Aster's chest, without really meaning to the sound of the older one's heart was comforting to him. And he wanted to sleep, but part of him was not working that direction. He had to get used to this place one day."Just a nightmare..."The boy nodded, and wanted to sleep, he just didn't want to have Aster leave him or something, maybe it was just him being cautious he was not sure anymore. There was no way he could make this person stay here but he said he would. He was thinking about something now, but he had almost drifted off to sleep, the fact that he was actually trying to keep his mind off of the context his mind was trying to take what Aster said. He wondered if Aster would be here when he woke up.
Not that he'd hold it against him if he wasn't, he barely knew this person after all, and it wasn't like they were related or something so it truly didn't matter did it. "You led me here, then I watched you disappear. You left this emptiness inside and I can't turn back time." Song: Never be the same by Red.
