Where was that Neverland diner at again? Oh yes the other side of the commons. Now... How could she get there by avoiding the crowds?.... There was no possible way of doing that. So she clentched a fist, held it to her chest and frowned, pouting as she made a determined look. All she had to do was get there.
These crowds of people may I add were only small groups dotted around the place so they aren't very big.
She took a step forwards and almost walked in to someone so she squeaked and then took a step back.
"S-S-Sorry! >.<" The stammering already started as she freaked out a little and then scooted backwards well out of the way of other people. Now with that said she wished there was a quicker route to the diner than this. Maybe she should just go back to the dorm room and get food some other time? No because then she'd just starve herself and collapse and she'd be of no use to anyone.
Maybe... My parents were right... Maybe this isn't the place for me... [/color] The thoughts flew around her head before she glanced at the ground. What now? No. I will prove I can do this! I WILL BE USEFUL TO SOMEONE! >8|[/color] That determination returned before she took in a deep breath and then set off walking. Slow graceful steps, one foot after the other passing by groups, yet as she progressed? Her determination slowly dwindled to nothingness, her head hung as the pink tresses that cascaded down her back shifted with each movement. Eyes back on the floor as she went. Though she wasn't looking where she was going and that ended in her walking in to someone. Staggering backwards she looked up. "S-S-SORRY! P-PLEASE DON'T BE MAD!" The rather loud squeaks that passed for words came from her as she backed away from the person she'd bumped in to and that lead to her bumping in to someone else. Another squeak. Flustered and panicking she ran off across the commons, before she crashed in to a third person and rebounded hitting the floor with a thud on her back she squirmed a little before she sat up and then looked to the person she'd run in to. "O-Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I di-didn't mean to do that! I swear!" She was internally yelling at herself as she slowly got up and brushed herself down. ".........I-Is there anything... Anything I can do to make up for that?.... I can't... I can't even begin to say how s-sorry I am..." She was forcing herself not to run away. She'd appologize do whatever they asked her to do and then be on her way. Let's just hope she doesn't make any more huge mistakes today.[/blockquote]

Vanitas Hiroaki; [atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][atrb=border,0,true][cs=2][atrb=style, background: url(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c36/Topangachick1/Sparkle%20Gifs/Not%20glitter%20bgrnds/Black/smoke.jpg); width: 450px, bTable][atrb=style,-moz-border-radius: 15px; border-radius: 15px;,true] | [atrb=style, background: #b2c7d6; padding: 8px;-webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 10px 10px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; opacity: 0.6] Time to eat some food! Vanitas had been easting in his dorm room or at his in-laws for the past few days and hadn’t really eaten on campus before. He had heard good things about the Neverland dinner before, but he had never tried it. So today doing something different for a change he left to eat at the dinner. He wondered what type of food they had as he was starting to get sick of ramen for the last few days. He would have loved to have something nice and fattening so he could put on some more weight. He had been getting a little skinny lately and he needed to gain some more pounds. Sure he was an ok weight now, but he needed a bit more to look healthier.
Taking his book bag with him, since he didn’t know how long he was going to be there, he left his dorm room and headed for the commons. The weather was lovely with a bright shining sun beating down on his black spiky hair. Vanitas didn’t pay attention to the weather though in fact with his mood some people could say he had a cloud floating above his head. He wasn’t depressed or anything, but he was annoyed he hated going out in the sun or at least out in it without any intention of staying in it. He would have much preferred to drive there, but parking was always limited and he didn’t want to waste money on gas. It was annoying, but he needed the money to help pay for his child and in all honesty even if his in-laws took care of the child it is not like they paid for everything. He had to pay for food, clothes, and other of the child’s necessities. He loved his son though so it wasn’t like it was a pain to pay for him, but more along the lines of a pain to earn the money. He didn’t have a job so he would just save up money he got from his father and step mother. That is why he mostly ate ramen because he used the money to pay for his child, but today he had a bit more than usual and was going to use a bit on himself.
When he got to the commons it was packed as usual. He hated crowds or at least being a part of them. Vanitas was always the loner he preferred to sit by himself and eating by himself. The only times he had ever really liked sitting with someone was his wife and he knew she would be eating with her girlfriend anyways. The two although still married by law weren’t really a couple sure they had their rings on still, but they weren’t always seen together in fact most people didn’t even know they were married. Most people thought they were just people who seemed somewhat friendly to each other and the fact they were rarely seen together just made them think they were friends and nothing more. Vanitas didn’t mind this at all though he liked Netami, but he wasn’t completely in love with her or anything.
Vanitas stood around the commons lost in thought thinking about his child when suddenly he was hit from behind by someone. He heard a thud from behind after the person hit him and he turned around to see who it was. It was a girl with long pink hair [and big old hooters]. If Vanitas hadn’t been married or was annoyed by her running into him he might have ended up with a nose bleed. When she stared to apologize to Vanitas he got more annoyed by her. She was causing a scene and he didn’t want to be stared at by the people in the commons he hated being looked at. Vanitas rolled his eyes are her request being even more annoyed by this girl. She was turning into a major pain and they had just met! Vanitas took his book bag and held it out to the girl, “Hold this.” He was a kind person and would help his friends, but to those he didn’t know he would normally do his best to push them off or hurt them. This girl was an exception though he needed to get her away from this area or at least calm her down so she wouldn’t continue making a scene. Vanitas then walked away from her and sat down at a nearby table still annoyed with the girl.

She hadn't meant to cause a scene, she really didn't because well the attention and people talking to her only made it worse for her. So really? She was her own worst enemy when it came to things like this. Staying in doors may have been a better option after all, yet here she was. The person she ran in to rolled their eyes, great she was being annoying already and that sort of hurt so she just looked down and shut her mouth.
“Hold this.” A bag was held out to her, at first she flinched, then she took hold of it, a nod of her head she watched him start walking away to a table. For a moment or two? Solaris just stood there like a moron before she quickly scurried along behind him and stood next to where he was sat. She didn't sit down.
Why?
Because she hadn't been told too. She wasn't sure if she was allowed to so she just stood near him with her eyes on the floor and a rather sullen expression on her face. She wasn't sure what she should do. Perhaps she should sit down?
The thought played around in her head before she decided she would sit down.... Opposite the person. So she sat at the table eyes on it as she put the bag on her lap so it wouldn't touch the floor and get dirty. That wouldn't be good if that happened, it wasn't her property so she had to take good care of it, especially when the person who owned it was right there.
It took EVERY ounce of determination for the girl not to just, run away, not to just go hide somewhere away from all the people . The only time she didn't freak out when around people was when she was singing so? She started to hum a light tune quietly to herself to calm herself down. It worked for the most part. Then when she was finally calm? She lifted her head to look at the person across from her.
"I'm really sorry... I didn't mean to make a scene or anything... I'm just horribly afraid of crowds... It took everything I had not to just run away..." She explained and then nodded before her eyes went back to the table.
"I-If... If you'd like... I could pay for us both to eat?" With that said she dug in her own bag pulling out the wallet she stored money in only to pull it out and show the person how much cash she had in there. A hell of a lot.
"It's... The least I can do for causing you trouble." A soft smile spread across her face as she sat there, though she was still afraid? She was trying to get over it. If only he knew how much it took for her to just speak to him without the squeaking or the constant stammering.

Vanitas Hiroaki; [atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][atrb=border,0,true][cs=2][atrb=style, background: url(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c36/Topangachick1/Sparkle%20Gifs/Not%20glitter%20bgrnds/Black/smoke.jpg); width: 450px, bTable][atrb=style,-moz-border-radius: 15px; border-radius: 15px;,true] | [atrb=style, background: #b2c7d6; padding: 8px;-webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 10px 10px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; opacity: 0.6] Good at least she could follow some instructions, thought Vanitas. The girl had followed nonverbal instruction by sitting in front of him at the table which pleased him. He could always use a servant/secretary for his daily use. She could be useful maybe he could even use her to get revenge on his brother or maybe even keep an eye on his wife just in case she does anything he would deem unsuitable for his child. Vanitas could think of many possibilities to use this girl in fact she might even be a necessity for his plans. Despite his annoyance with her she could be definite factor in his revenge and he would use her for anything to get his revenge.
She spoke again and her voice was rather annoying to Vanitas. The constant squeaking and the pitch of her voice made his ears crawl. The fact she couldn’t stand crowds made Vanitas think he could even use her slight fear to his advantage. She could sneak around easily without being called suspicious since she probably walked by herself normally anyways. Vanitas couldn’t sneak around as easy as he did have the air of a delinquent which made most people stop him or ask him question which annoyed him also. He was easily annoyed by most people, but those who questioned his motives were the worst to him. People should just mind their own business and not ask questions. He hated being asked questions and would just do things without questions, but it seemed everyone else didn’t function that way.
Vanitas’s outlook on the girl changed though when she showed him her wallet and offered to pay for both of them. She had money [or at least more than him] which could definitely prove useful to him AND his son. Maybe he would let her pay for both of them so he could save more money for his son. Vanitas smirked a bit and said, “Alright then get me whatever you think I would like.” He was testing her to see if she could be useful to him without any knowledge of him. He didn’t want any questions he wanted her to do as she was told and nothing more. Vanitas folded his arms and leaned back a bit before saying, “Leave my bag on the table while you get the food.” He didn’t trust people to go off from his view with his book bag mostly because he had a picture of his son when he was born. He loved his son more than anyone else in the world and even though Konbo was born under the circumstance of his mother just getting her parents out of the way he was still a beautiful baby boy. Vanitas might not have been the best father, but he loved his son to the extent of making sure nothing would come to harm to him in any way possible.

“Alright then get me whatever you think I would like.” She blinked, he hadn't told her what exactly he'd want. So now she had to think for herself. What would she get for him?! She had no idea she'd decide when she got there.
"Okay." She nodded as she started to stand.
“Leave my bag on the table while you get the food.” She didn't say a word, instead she just lifted the bag and gently set it down on the table before she slipped away from the table.
Eying thepeople as she quickly figured out the best route for herself to take she slipped away from view in pure silence. She avoided mingling or even touching people, she just forced herself to work her way over there, quickly and quietly. Then there was the que, slipping in between people to get there quicker she was almost unseen and people didn't tell her not to push in because? They were too busy talking amongst themselves to bother!
Once at the counter she stood there and then? Reeled off a loooong list of items, because she had no idea what the dark haired person she'd met would want. Two trays were given to her because of the amount of stuff she ordered and she gave the person more than enough money to cover the cost the rest? Well that was a tip really, something she always did wherever she went just to be nice. She'd never had to work a day in her life so for those who did? She always tipped, she figured working was hard so she felt the need to tip people. Too nice for her own good probably.
Now back out and with a tray balancing on each arm she snaked her way off to one side where there was no one and a nice clear route back to the table. Quickly she made her way over and then? Set the trays down on the table before she sat back down.
"Um... I... Didn't know what you'd like... So... I got a variety of things... Just to make sure there was at least something you liked." The squeaking had left her voice now, along with the stuttering. Instead the tone was calm and gentle, airy almost as she sat there across from him. All she got for herself? A sandwich. Given she was a little more hungry for more than a sandwich but she knew there wouldn't have been enough room on the trays and she couldn't carry three so she put this person before herself.
Sitting there she offered a smile eyes closing as she looked to her sandwich and then started eating quietly. No more talking. Not for now. Unless he asked her questions. Though it was probably rude that she hadn't introduced herself but she figured he probably wasn't interested in her name. She didn't blame him for that, at all, she knew she was an idiot, but oh how wrong that was. She was actually very intelligent when she put her mind to it. That however was in her studies. When it came to people? Or actually talking to people? She failed so horribly.

Vanitas Hiroaki; [atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][atrb=border,0,true][cs=2][atrb=style, background: url(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c36/Topangachick1/Sparkle%20Gifs/Not%20glitter%20bgrnds/Black/smoke.jpg); width: 450px, bTable][atrb=style,-moz-border-radius: 15px; border-radius: 15px;,true] | [atrb=style, background: #b2c7d6; padding: 8px;-webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 10px 10px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; opacity: 0.6] Vanitas chuckled as he saw the girl go off for the food. He didn’t know what she was going to return with, but whatever she did maybe she would get something he liked. He wasn’t picky with food so he would eat most things anyways, but he would definitely act a bit picky to her. As he waited for his food Vasnitas wondered a bit about who she was and why she was doing this. Most people would just not bother and leave by now and in all honesty that was what he really wanted. He didn’t really need her, but if she was willing to go out of her way to buy him food without any knowledge of what he liked he could use her.
It wasn’t long before she had returned with two trays in her hands both filled with food. The first thought that popped into Vanitas’s mind was how much money did she really have? This must have cost a fortune or at least compared to his salary. He felt a slight tinge of remorse coming from the pit of his stomach, but he pushed it aside as he pulled one of the trays towards him. On this tray were an assortment of fruits, vegetables, chicken, potatoes, and beef. Vanitas took the steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes, and sweet and sour chicken. He then pulled the other tray towards him and took a pizza slice, hardboiled egg, fried okra, and a cookie. It was a lot of food and there was a bunch left over. He couldn’t eat all this himself. He took what he wanted and pushed the rest to her before saying, “Here have the rest.” All that was really left on the trays were a sandwich, spaghetti, eggrolls, salad, a corn dog, and steamed carrots. Vanitas did like some of this stuff, but he really didn’t want it today so he didn’t pick them for a reason.
Vanitas began to eat as he dug his fork into his steamed broccoli and put it in his mouth. A sense of happiness touched his stomach as he swallowed the food. He hadn’t had anything so good in a long while and he really missed it. He enjoyed eating when he had the money to, but because he saved his money for his child he didn’t get to eat as often as he wanted to. After eating his food for a few minutes Vanitas looked at the girl and asked, “May I get your name then?” He thought she was a bit weird to not have introduced herself by now as most people would. In fact she was an oddity that is to say the least. She was a basic contradiction of what she hated by even being in this place. To make it worse she caused a scene that made eyes stare at not only her, but the person who she bumped into hated people looking at him because of something happening. He wasn’t really annoyed at her anymore, but more intrigued as to who she was and why she did these things.

She watched as he picked out various foods that were on the trays and smiled at him. Happy that he was eating and also happy that he obviously liked some of the foods that were brought back. That meant she'd done a good job! So she wasn't a pure failure after all! Though she tilted her head to one side as he pushed what remained back to her. Why was he doing that?
“Here have the rest.” Oh he was giving her the rest of the food? All she took was the salad and sandwich. The rest? Well, she couldn't eat the rest, she didn't exactly eat very much anyway, salads and sandwiches were what she liked so that would be what she ate. It kept her figure for her without her having to exercise, then again she was one of those people who could eat as much as they liked and STILL not put on much weight.
A few minutes passed by as she ate happily her gaze shifting as she hummed a light melody to herself and her eyes shifted to other people scanning them over. Almost trying to pin point the type of person they were. His voice however caught her attention as her head snapped back around and her purple eyes rested on him.
“May I get your name then?” Apparently she was wrong. He did want to know who she was. She wasn't good at judging people apparently. Yet she still found it enjoyable to try and figure out what kinds of people wandered around the place.
"Oh! Yes of course! My name is Solaris Edwards, I'm from a ... Um... Rich?... Would that be a good term?... Yes.. Rich family. I passed my exams in to this place. ^^ But... They have little faith in my abilities so they paid a fee to make sure I got in..." She sighed at the end as her appetite suddenly diminished to nothing. Setting the sandwich down she just pushed it away from herself and her gaze went back to the table. Silence once more. Her family doubted her. That was the worst thing. No one had faith in her abilities. Yet she was always nice to them. Why were they so mean? ;-;
Her hands went to her lap and clasped together as she sat there quietly.
Closing her eyes she sighed as she gave a frown. She almost looked angry but she wasn't she was just confused and maybe a little frustrated as to why no one seemed to actually have faith in her. Maybe that was why she tried so hard? Just to make sure that she always did a good job to make up for her failures.
"Perhaps I'm allowed to know your name too?" She asked, yes she actually requested his name, all beit a long winded question but she was trying to be polite and well mannered, so she asked in such a way that he could decline if he so wished.

Vanitas Hiroaki; [atrb=cellSpacing,10,true][atrb=border,0,true][cs=2][atrb=style, background: url(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c36/Topangachick1/Sparkle%20Gifs/Not%20glitter%20bgrnds/Black/smoke.jpg); width: 450px, bTable][atrb=style,-moz-border-radius: 15px; border-radius: 15px;,true] | [atrb=style, background: #b2c7d6; padding: 8px;-webkit-border-radius: 10px 10px 10px 10px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; opacity: 0.6] Just as Vanitas expected she did get some food for herself, but a measly salad and sandwich. She had left the corn dog, eggrolls, spaghetti, and steamed carrots this was a waste and Vanitas didn’t approve of this very much. He took the tray of food and placed it on his right so that when he finished his food he could just take the food to go and put it in his dorm room fridge. As Vanitas ate he watched the girl wondering who she was and why she seemed to act to happy around him. Vanitas did somewhat enjoy the company of her, but he didn’t trust her and he wasn’t about to let his guard down to someone he didn’t even know the name to.
He listened to her hum a slight tune most likely to herself, but he could still hear her over the slight noise that came from the rest of the commons. Speaking of the commons there were many people who seemed to be staring at them quite frequently and Vanitas left eye slightly twitched at this. These people should be minding their own business instead of looking at others and wonder why they were sitting next to each other. He was getting ticked off by these people as he caught a slight whisper from a near-by girl who seemed to question who they were and if they were dating. Vanitas got really angry and if the girl hadn’t responded to the question he made about her name he would have gotten up and punched the living daylights out of the girl.
So her name was Solaris who had trouble with her family. Not really a shock now how they came to meet each other now. Vanitas had trouble in his past too so this wasn’t anything new to him. He had been raised by an abusive father who only turned out to be his uncle. When his father did take him back he lived with his step-mother and she wasn’t a good influence on him either. The parents didn’t really seem to care for Vanitas much and he grew up with tainted thoughts and ideals. These ideals are what caused him at such a young age to already have a child. His family was easily the worse kinds of parents someone could have or at least to him they were. Vanitas was then asked for his name, but he was still somewhat ticked off by the girl who he heard a little while ago. He didn’t respond right away, but he did finally say, “Vanitas. That is all you need to know.” This was true he never was going to say his last name since he knew it connected him to his brother. By hiding his last name he could hopefully be unknown to his brother that way he wouldn’t get to close to Vanitas. Of course the fact Vanitas wanted to get close to his brother made a big contradiction to his thoughts.
Vanitas then stared at Solaris with deep eyes of annoyance, but not to her he had started listening to that girl again. She was now talking about how the two would make a cute couple and that if they got married how beautiful Solaris would look in a dress. Vanitas got mad and yelled, “THAT’S IT!” he then turned to the girl and pointed at her, “STOP SPREADING SUCH FALSE ACCUSATIONS! NO ONE LIKES PEOPLE WHO INDULGE IN SUCH IDIOTIC AFFAIRS!” he was angry, but he was controlling himself trying his best not to punch the girl. His yells didn’t go unheard though as it seemed everyone stopped to stare at him and Vanitas didn’t care right now this whore needed to be taught a lesson and if no one else was going to do it he sure would.
