So here it was, the little meeting that they had talked about on that nice little MSN chat of theirs. Of course she was worried that he wouldn't really show up, because she wasn't that much of a person to keep a date with or anything like that it seemed, but she couldn't help but hope. Hope that he wasn't like the rest of the people she tried to set things up with. Of course, he seemed like a very decent man when they talked, and she was even being more bold than she usually would be. Perhaps that was a sign of something good to come? He seemed to enjoy the little talk, but now it was time to actually meet face to face. She hoped that he didn't think she wasn't attractive or anything. It would just add more hurt and pain to everything. Letting out a soft sigh, with a glance around for a moment or two, since she was the first one to get here, she decided that she would get herself something to nibble on in the meantime, hoping that it wouldn't take him too long to arrive. That is, if he did at all. Though she had a feeling, something was telling her that he would arrive, though she hoped he'd know who she was. She did send him a little photo of what she looked like to make sure he would be able to find her. Because it would be silly to go to a meeting and not know who you were there to meet, right? Of course it would be hard to miss her, a rather beautiful purple dress her parasol, and of course she had that fan of her's. She held it against her forehead at the moment, seemingly in thought about the whole thing. But she didn't mind it. If this worked out? Perhaps she would actually have a chance at being completely happy. As usual when she came to this place, there were random drunkards that seemed to be OH so drawn to her. Perhaps because she looked nice, perhaps because she made sure to use a nice perfume tonight, make herself look as nice as possible, yes that might have something to do with why there were so many of them that came to her. And every time they did, she would just turn them away and shake her head a bit, it was even getting so bad that a bouncer came over and stood near the table. Of course, at this she smiled at the man and told him that she was waiting for someone, and told him to let that person through to the table should they arrive. And now that she had the nice guard, it seemed the drunk people left her alone and started to hobble out to go about their lives, giggling softly she order herself a drink and made sure to get a little bit of actual food as well. Not knowing if he would show up or not. She'd feel terrible for getting something without him, but she was truly nervous. It was just going to be a few drinks and some talking, that's all. But this was the closest thing to a date she had ever had in her life, so it was a lot worse for her than it should have been. She didn't really have experience in this stuff and she was so worried. She knew he was single right now, he knew she had always been single. So why couldn't she see this as a date. It was a date, right? They were meeting each other in a place, just the two of them, to get to know the other more and to be together, so that made it a date. Or at least it did to her. But she shouldn't be having such silly thoughts. She wasn't good enough for anyone during school and growing up, so what made this any different? Sure she had the looks, the housewife skills, and she was also very patient. All of these things seemed like good things to have to her, but it just never was enough. Shaking her head a bit, she sipped at her drink. Gaze wandering to the door to the place from time to time, not really knowing if it was going to happen or not, but she didn't mind if it didn't. She didn't expect it to, but it would be nice, if for a change, someone that said they were going to meet her actually came to meet her. She had gotten so tired of always being stood up and made fun of for it later. But she had to have hope this time. She didn't believe he would be the type to agree to a date, or a meeting, and then not arrive. So, she just smiled to herself as she closed her eyes and remained at the table, sipping her drink and waiting for whatever to come her way. If everything worked out how she would like? They would have another meeting and hopefully that one would actually be called a date, and not just be her pretending it was, or her wanting it to be one. Though she had to wonder if she was his type now or not. Of course, it would all boil down to how well this went. And that would be all she would tell herself, she could do this. She knew she was capable of being a good partner, a good mate. It's just no one had ever given her the chance, and if this man did? She would treat him as if he were a God on Earth. She would make sure he was taken care of, she wouldn't let anyone hurt him, because he would be her's and she would want to keep him as happy as possible. If that meant cooking for him naked? She'd do it. If it meant going out with him on walks and talking to each other? She'd do that too. She would do anything and everything in her power to make this man happy. And she would tell him all of this too. Well in time she would. She wouldn't want to scare him away right off the bat, but she would try. Try to get this to work out for the both of them. Letting out a light giggle now, she seemed to be happy. All because of this chance. She wouldn't lose it either. She would make this happen. Some how, some way. |
