Nathaniel sighed as he looked at his list. He had to go purchase some text books for theatre, and frankly, he's rather being doing something else. However, the books were essential, and Professor Ishikawa suggested some, so it's not like he really had to look for titles himself. Finding a text book in a store shouldn't be all that hard. And if it does happen to be so, then that's what attendants are for. Feeling satisfied with his logic, Nathaniel let a content smirk stay on his face as he went on his way.
He was heading towards the Town Square. There was bound to be some kind of store there that had text books. If not, well, then you resort to Ebay. Or maybe just the internet in general. Either way, he just knew he would get his textbook today, regardless of which method he chose, or needed, to take. "Now, how far is the Town Square..." he thought. Taking a quick look around, he could see he was near the park. So, that meant he still had a little ways to go.
As he strolled through the area in the general direction of his destination, he subtly taking in the environment. Well, what else was he supposed to do? Look at the people? he doubted any of them would be interesting enough to deserve being looked at, and it just wouldn't look good to randomly stare at everyone. It'd make him seem like some kind of stalker, and he definitely wasn't. So, it was October, and the leaves were all still littering the ground. the breeze was chilly, although it didn't affect him much. Wearing pants, a short sleeved shirt, and a jacket, a little wind couldn't possibly make him cold. He also had his hat on, which just promoted his warmth (as in temperature).
After about ten minutes, Nathaniel was finally in the Town Square looking around, he examined the signs of the stores. "Hm... This looks like a bookstore. So let's see what's inside." entering the shop, he knew he'd picked a pretty good place. There were shelves and shelves of books, so if they didn't have text books, he was just unlucky today. Browsing through the aisles, he kept an eye out of the bulky looking spines the educational books usually had. Of course, he could ask an employee and find what he needed quickly, but he didn't particularly enjoy the idea of needing someone else's help. so for now, he'd rely on himself.
Fortunately, he found the material rather fast. The only problem was that there were several shelves of them, and it would take a long time to find the books he needed. Scanning his list one more time, he prepared to start looking, when he was suddenly knocked down by someone. A scowl immediately making its way onto his face, he turned towards the guilty person. It seemed he was a young boy, or at least younger than himself, with scarlet hair.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, knocking me over like that?"
(This is such a fail.)
